Great Staff! Very clean & friendly! I take my puggle here to have his nails trimmed, they are so good with him.

This shop is the best in the city. Before I found them, about a year ago, I had tried 5 different groomers in SLC with no success. I have a little rescue poodle that requires extra TLC because of his background and his propensity for stress seizures. The groomers here help him feel comfortable and safe without a second thought. I let him get a little shaggier than I should most times, but I have never felt judged when I bring him to Doggie in the Window like at many of the other shops around town. He leaves happy and fluffy every time and I am so relieved to have finally found a groomer that truly cares about dogs AND customers.

The first time I came here, the lady who groomed my boy did a perfect job. She listened to everything I said and he came out perfectly! I had never been happier with a groom. Literally 5 stars all around. I thought we finally found a place that would listen to what I wanted!
The second time I went there, we had a different lady. «Do you want the same as before?» I replied yes and it was the best cut my dog has ever had! She replied the instructions were all in the system. But I showed her a picture of my dog after he came home last time and started to explain what we liked again anyway… but I could tell she wasn’t listening to me. I said we like his beard long and the top of his head to be longer and fluffier, and to not shave between his eyes. Well guess what? I picked him up and his beard is completely gone, his head is way shorter than last time and they shaved between his eyes.
What’s the point of me being a customer at your business if you’re not going to listen to a word that I say? If you listen to your customers then they will be happy. If she had just listened to me I wouldn’t be writing an upset review right now. I’m not sure why listening to what your customers want is soooo hard to do. Seems simple.
So, it depends on who you get at this place. It could be great or it could be not great. Be very, very clear about what you want and make sure they are listening to you.

The staff here is great and so are the prices! They are wonderful with my dogs and you can tell they really love animals and love what they do. Highly recommend.

I chose this place based on the perfect reviews and stars. After calling in to schedule an appointment, I knew that it wouldn’t disappoint. Seriously every person I talked to on the phone was super informative and SO SWEET!!! Other places I’ve taken my little pup to are all so grouchy, this was awesome.
Once we arrived, they took my puppy (a little golden yorkie) back for a groom. What is so cool about this place is that they don’t lock your dog up while waiting or in between grooms. The pups have a place to roam freely and play with others. I love this! Sometimes it is traumatizing how long other groomers keep your dogs locked up in kennels.
The hair cut was phenomenal. He looks so cute and I am so pleased! They were so fast & called to let me know that Smokie was ready to go way sooner than I thought they would. The price was okay, about standard everywhere else.
Will definitely return! :)

Great staff and a really great job! My Golden Retriever never looked so cute and my German Shepherd looked great too. You can tell the staff goes the extra mile for s good job! Definitely coming back!

I would give 10 stars if I could I can’t tell you how wonderful this place is the staff is wonderful the facility itself is clean and professional I’ve visited several different groomers in the past and this place is a million times better. My dog was probably a pain in the butt & I appreciate their patience… I’m so grateful I found this place Sierra looks perfect! Thank you guys

These folks did a great job getting my dog groomed in under two hours. She looked and smelled great! The took care of her fast growing dew claws and trimmed her well! The price was reasonable and the staff was so friendly! I’d definitely use them gain.

Doggie in the window is the best! Great groomers that actually care about your dog and the dogs love to run around where ever they want. No groom shop does it better than them!

Today Robin groomed my dog Harvey and she did an AMAZING job! I live back and forth from Salt Lake and Los Angeles so I typically take him to his groomer in CA. Until now I have not been able to find a good groomer here in Salt Lake. I tried Pawhill Pet Spaw and was not impressed with the service or the job they did on my dog. I was hesitant to take my dog to yet another new groomer but he really needed a trim. I truly could not be more impressed with Robin and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a highly skilled and very friendly groomer. We will certainly be back!

Extremely satisfied! I dropped my pug off on my way to work in the morning and picked him up on my lunch break, although I was told picking him up after work would have been fine too. Trimmed nails, clean coat, smelled great and was not shedding at all. Have you ever seen a pug not shed a single hair when pet?! And all this for around $ 20. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

They welcomed my dog with open arms and quickly set her at ease… The dogs roam freely and when my husband drove in to pick Ginger up, she was indeed the doggie in the window with a new doggie friend. They did an excellent job, they charged a little more than what we usually pay, but I was very happy with the service. I definitely recommend «Doggie In The Window!»

5 starts! Great grooming and business practice! Our doggie Max loves it there and he feels very hot every time he goes in for a cut !
I love the fact that the dogs are not put into a kennel to wait for their turn or after they get a cut since our Max is a kennel free dog.

I was pleased with Doggie in the Window. I called and they were able to fit him in the very next day! I liked that my dog had an appointment time, I didn’t have to drop him off in the morning and wait to be called after they got around to doing him. I dropped him off at his appointment at noon, and they called me an hour and a half later when he was done! The people were friendly. I’m not sure who actually did his haircut because there were several people working there, but whoever did, did a great job. He also enjoyed running around and playing with the other small dogs that were there getting groomed or waiting for their owners (he didn’t have to be in a kennel like the other place). They were pricier than the previous place I was going, but I do most of his grooming myself, so I am willing to pay the extra money for the few times I take him to be professionally groomed.

I’m so glad I found them on here, I had been to other groomers and my dog would leave all traumamitized. I chose Doggie in the window because they were very nice and professional over the phone, and even nicer once I took my dog in. I’ve found my groomers!

We are so glad that we have finally found our perfect groomers! We’ve been taking our puppies to different groomers trying to find someone with everything we were looking for. Either they were good groomers but had horrible organization and business practice or they were good with business and getting us in but they were horrible groomers. Doggie in the Window is clean, organized, quick to respond and get us in, and the puppies looked stunning when we arrived to pick them up! We were also pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to pay a small fortune. We have found our groomers and couldn’t be more pleased.

Would recommend this place to anyone! My dog felt comfortable and had cute dog friends to hang out with while waiting. The groomers were helpful and loving toward my little pom. The one con was that they didn’t cut my doggies nails very short. But that’s okay! At least she was done within a reasonable time and she seemed to be enjoying herself!

FANTASTIC! As someone who has usually bathed the dog in the backyard with a hose, I thought all groomers were pretty much the same. Heidi at Doggie in the Window proved me wrong on that. I was completely stunned at how beautiful my border collie looked when I picked her up. She was perfectly trimmed, her coat was so shiny, and her white fur looked 10x whiter than before. Not only that, but the dog can be a handful, and she was very calm when I picked her up. We’ve usually taken our dogs wherever we can find a coupon, but now we will go nowhere but here. I highly highly recommend Doggie in the Window.

Totally impressed! I will not mention names but our last groomer was not organized and charged us different prices every time we would go in for the same services. They were also not very clean and I feel like the dogs had little supervision.
Doggie in the Window is clean, organized and even has a website so you can keep track of your pet’s grooming schedule. I am impressed so far but have only taken my dogs here one time.

My wife and I were in the market for a new dog groomer after disappointing grooms at other pet salons. We found Doggie in the Window on Groupon, and I must say we love it! Our dogs have never looked better! The groomers here listened to our requests and were great with the dogs. The salon is clean and very nice, plus I saved some cash on my dogs grooming with the Groupon, bonus!
