Meet the Business Owner

Erric Y.

Business Owner

Art instructor Erric Yang is a known Bay Area artist whose paintings are showcased in many national and international exhibitions. He is an alumni of Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He was the head art instructor at San Jose Art Academy for 7 years.

Erric Yang achieved his MFA painting degree at Academy of Art University in 2007 and began his career in teaching. He has also taught after school art in south bay area for many years. With lots of experiences and passions, his students won many awards in art contests.

Being an artist, he has won many awards in both national & international painting contests. His style of paintings attract a growing number of collectors in Asia and the United States, which has also been featured on the book.

The best art studio in the Bay Area! It’s such an artistic and warm environment. The kids truly enjoy their time there and love the teacher, Erric, from the bottom of their hearts! They learn so much from Erric and develop lots of creativity. Pay a visit to the studio and see it yourself! You won’t be disappointed!

I pretty enjoy learning from Erric!
He is not the type of teacher «only» focus on «skill». He inspires students’ passion to build the relationship with their painting. Always, he encourages me to develop my own style and paint from the creativity. Of course, he also teaches me how to explore different tools and skills, which is very useful!
BTW, I love the studio, which is just like the name. Very artistic!

Erric taught my kids for years at the San Jose Art Academy. Both my kids loved their experience with him. They learned a variety of techniques with drawing and painting. My house is filled with beautiful artwork. We were so excited that Erric was able to open up his own art studio. We don’t live in the area, but it is worth the drive to continue classes with him. Erric is a great teacher, wonderful personality and I would definitely recommend him for anyone interested in taking a class.
