Swung by one morning before work to get their famous«custard-filled donut holes». I would say it’s EH-OK. Friendly service. The donut itself was tasty, but the custard was lacking some flavor. I love custard anything, but this didn’t hit the spot for me. I ALMOST got one of their delicious looking breakfast sandwiches, but opted out d/t seeing the sandwiches pre-made?

Updating my review: I used to only like the old fashioned donuts. Then, the French crullers cuz they were so airy and soft like clouds lol. And then the chocolate cake donut with chocolate glaze cuz I got bored of the French. And then the donut holes got too addicting cuz I felt like I neglected them for so long. And then the croissant sandwiches with bacon, egg and tomatoes cuz sometimes sweets are bad. And my point is everything is good, fresh and downright wholesome.

I’ve been here at least 20 times in the past three years and I love this place! I’ve only ever ordered the donut holes, but my siblings have had some of their raised donuts and they are delicious. Donut holes are $ 1.50 for a dozen, and they throw in extra donut holes every time. This is the cheapest place for donut holes I know! And their donuts are not too sweet. I’d like to try a savory item sometime!

I’ve tried going to this place on 3 separate occasions, and each time they were closed. Even though it was during hours they were supposed to be open. Three strikes and your out. I’m done trying to give this place my business. If you want to close early, then maybe you should change your hours of operation

This is REALLY my favorite doughnut place around. Absolutely the BEST place for apple fritters, hands down. The couple that owns it are so sweet, and friendly! They always pop an extra donut hole or two in my bag. A couple times, they’ve even asked about a donut I did NOT buy because they remembered what I usually buy for the family. So great! I think cost is not over what others charge, too. Love this place!

Basic donuts here are good! They usually throw in a few extra donut holes which is really nice! Feed the extras to the boyfriend of course, while I eat the rest heh. I especially like the breakfast croissant sandwiches here. They come out warm and tasty! It’s also pretty cheap for a big croissant sandwich filled with eggs, cheese, and meat of choice as compared to other donut shops I’ve been to.

Awesome HUGE donuts. Plus you get a few donut holes! Don’t expect crazy pumpkin spice holiday decorated donuts, just great basic donuts

I love this donut shop! Been coming here for years and they still have the best donuts! I usually come here for their donut holes, they’re my favorite. They don’t overload the glaze on the donut holes, so it tastes just right. I even like their ham & cheese croissant; which I can make myself, but doesn’t taste as good.

The lady who works here is so sweet and always gives you extra donut holes no matter how many donuts you order. Inexpensive and delicious! I live very close and I have been coming here for about 5 years now and the lady always greets me when I walk in. Definitely recommend this place to everyone :)

Donut shops make me happy! I saw pictures of the BLT& egg croissant sandwich and knew I had to get it. When I went inside, I looked for it on the menu. I ordered the bacon & egg croissant sandwich, thinking it would be the BLT. To my surprise, it was a croissant filled with scrambled eggs and bacon. The croissant was buttery and fluffy! I drizzled sriracha inside, which made it pretty satisfying. It costs $ 3.50. My boyfriend and I also got a dozen of custard filled donut holes. All donut shops should learn from this shop by injecting the custard in once the customer orders it. No lie, they were delicious. They were humungo too! That glaze, that dough, that custard, mm mm mm! It was just as good the next day too(refrigerated of course). A dozen costs $ 4. Two days later, I just had to go back for what I originally came for: the beautiful BLT and fried egg croissant. It’s funny cause I went up to the pop that works there and I said, «Can I get a BLT croissant?» He was like, «What?» So I had to say«Bacon, lettuce, tomato». Figures they wouldn’t know what BLT means, haha. My sandwich came out in less than 5 minutes. The thing is HUGE. It was fully packed with lettuce, red onions(love love love), a big slice of tomato, a fried egg, bacon pieces, and just the right amount of cheese. There was so much lettuce and onions, I had to take some out because the flavors were too overpowering, but props to them for being so generous with their portions! The sandwich didn’t wow me(I probably hyped it up for myself) but I’m glad I tried it! It costs $ 5. The mom and pop that run this shop are of little words, but they are friendly and get the job done :) Oh yeah, they also sell those Helado Mexican popsicles… they’re delicious!

I’d been searching rather unsuccessfully for the last few months for a donut place to call home since I came to Milpitas. Have accepted Donut Basket as that. Donuts are excellent(cinnamon cake is awesome) coffee is good, and they take debit/credit. They even throw a few extra donut holes in the bag for you. Nice.

You don’t have to love doughnuts to come her but if you do the you will appreciate the quality. I’ve been coming for over ten years. Just don’t wait too long on sat. Morning. They will run out of their fantastic maple bars.

I love Donut Basket! It’s a mom-and-pop shop, and the couple are very nice. I love all their donuts, but my soft spot is for the donut holes, with a slight preference for the glazed over the power-sugared one. My favorite items, though? Their croissant sandwiches. The spicy hotdog ones are great for a bit of punch, the bacon one is good if you want a bit of crunch, the turkey and ham ones are a bit softer and gentler to munch. All in all, very delicious array of breakfast foods.

So I was craving donuts and I needed help from my fellow Unilocalers. Came across this gem, albeit a bit far for me. I have Christy’s Berry one down the street. But woah. I loved their donuts. I did ask the lady to charge me for a custard filled donut hole because I have never had one before and I was feeling adventurous. I did not love it, but they are a bit bigger than the regular donut holes and tasted way better! I also got an egg and cheese croissant sandwich and I liked it, the egg was a bit crunchy in some parts. I kept thinking I had shells, but it was like the sides of an omelet. Still a bit distracting. I will definitely come back. They take card with no spending limit necessary! That is always a plus.

This is my go to spot for donuts. I will go out of the way to come to this location if I have the time. I have damn near tried every donut that they have. They do not disappoint. I love their custard filled donut holes. If you get there early enough they have breakfast croissants with eggs cheese and bacon/ham. I usually don’t make in time. Another favorite of mine is the old fashioned donut. They make everything fresh every day and what ever doesn’t sell they donate so it doesn’t go to waste. What’s not to like? If anyone was in the area and wanted a really good donut go here. You won’t be disappointed.

Friendly service, quick, accepts Visa/MC. although small area to dine however, their donut displays and bagels displays are huge. Because the lighting accentuated(probably) the donuts, the donuts appeared to be super enticing and the colors of the frosting(one was blue) said to me, «Eat me» but I was strong this time and got just a sugar donut for my daughter. I think the next time I will order everything including jalapeño bagels!
