I go here every Saturday morning before going into work. The ham and cheese croissant are my favorite. The chocolate donuts are so good. Sweet but not so overpowering sweet, just the right balance. And the donuts are so soft. The lady’s there are so helpful and very friendly.

I bring these to work and everyone loses their minds because they’re delicious. The cream filled bars are crisp on the outside, fluffy and not too sweet and the cream is perfect. The filled holes are Beyond good. Love them. And the ladies who work here are delightful! They’re so friendly and sweet. And they open at five a.m. so even if you work early, they’ve got you covered. Not expensive and you can enjoy a breakfast sandwich on a croissant for $ 3.75. It’s All good.

Fresh innovative and tasty food. Quick service. Reasonably good value. Few outlets in San Jose. Fancy a lunch. Go there. Opens till late afternoon. Recommend unreservedly!!!

I could tell Kristen was definitely skeptical about this place when we saw the outside of it. There was a lack of options for donuts but we ended up with a chocolate sprinkle donut. It turned out to be really good. The chocolate was not too sweet or anything and the donut itself had a good texture and taste to it! –Edmund The chocolate donut was alright. Nothing spectacular on my end. –Kristen 5 stars from Edmund. 3 stars from Kristen.

These doughnuts are amazing! The old fashioned doughnuts are a must have, as are the bear claws… And the long johns… And the glazed… You know what? Just get everything. Everything is awesome. The staff is always friendly and the prices are great.

I came here because i was really carving for donuts and it was the closest donut shop from my house. The man that works here is really nice and did not get mad at me for taking a long time to pick either. He also charged me for half a dozen of glazed donuts instead of the mixed dozen. The donuts also were really big compare to krispy kreme donuts. I kind of wish that there was more grazed on my donuts but it was still yummy and it satisfy my carvings. I would had given it 5 stars if there was grazed on the donuts and they are a great price for their donuts.

This is the place where we get our work donuts. Oh yeah, nothing is better than free work donuts! In a world where crispy cream has tried to take over the donut market with their expensive, yet small donuts, it’s always a good thing with the mammy and pappy shops still hold their ground for some traditional donuts. This would one of those places. Good old traditional donuts, just the way I liked them in the 80’s growing up. They have a decent variety which you better have at a donut place or else! They have other things here besides donuts, buts I’m not sure it matters as I’m coming here for the donuts and nothing else. Homer would be proud of this place.

There are more flies than donuts here now. Standards(and selection) have severely dropped lately. And the woman that works there 95% of the time has the absolute worst attitude. She’ll leave you standing there without saying a word and just scowl at you, it’s insane. This last time, she didn’t acknowledge us even though we were the only ones in there and after we noticed 5 flies in the case, we walked out.

I thought she was going to be angry, but she was the sweetest ever! I got the 1C, bacon and egg croissant. It was HEAVEN!!! So good!!! I also ordered some donuts and she gave me freebies! Ah, this place is awesome!!! And the lady is such a sweetheart! :)

This place is surprisingly good. The donuts are fresh and light; and the prices are very reasonable. It’s in this little mall that doesn’t look like much but the donut shop surpasses expectations.

I LOVE this donut shop. I first started coming here back when the shop was owned by another family. A friend of mine actually. He use to be the one who kind worked the shifts while his parents would come by from time to time. I know they always make fresh donuts cause I use to sit around for hours in that shop waiting for my parents to pick me up when I was little. The donuts are very cheap and still taste amazing. It’s has the right amount of sweetness. The people who work there are amazingly sweet. Now that another family works here, I usually see the wife working and she usually gives me a few extra donuts. Sometimes donut holes and sometimes both. One time I got one for free for my birthday. Not only can you get donuts but handmade, done right in your face, sandwiches and they are Amazing. There’s a whole wall of different varieties. Whenever when I get here, it usually has a line out the door. I’m always afraid people are gonna take the good looking ones. Only downfall to this is that it opens super early and closes super early.): Personally think that if they had some type of challenge like bobs giant donut in SF, they’d attract more customers.

Very good donuts at a great price. Super friendly woman who always gives me free extra donut holes.(not that I need them) but they are yummy. I would definitely recommend. We come here for office donuts when we tire of Krispy Kreme. Give them a try.

I stopped here on a Sunday morning and ordered a half dozen variety of donuts for only $ 4.50. All in all, the donuts were really good! The blueberry old fashioned, my favorite kind, was moist with the perfect amount of sweet crispness on the outside. The glazed donut hole was delicious! The double chocolate cake donut with chocolate sprinkles was ok… a little dry but still soft. I think their glazed donuts, maple, chocolate, or plain are the best. There wasn’t a lot of selection, but since everything was so good, it didn’t matter. I’m looking forward to stopping here again!

Solid donuts. Open early with great customer service and free donut holes when you order a dozen(including chocolate donut holes). The breakfast sandwiches($ 3.99) look solid too. I got a dozen varied small donuts for $ 8(they take credit card too) and was not disappointed. Definitely a solid donut spot.

Stopped in really quick to try this place out. They are really nice there. Little mom and pop place. I bought a box of doughnuts, dozen mixed for about $ 11.50. If you just want regular doughnuts, not the big kind, it’s about $ 8. She did throw in extra doughnut holes so kudos for that! Here’s what I tried out of the box: Chocolate doughnut hole: extremely dry Glazed doughnut hole: very soft and tasty Bear Claw: Tasty, but a little doughy in the middle. They seem like a very sweet shop, but I probably would limit my doughnuts to glaze next time.

Decent diner-type stop for donuts or breakfast sandwiches. Grabbed some donut holes and a hotdog and cheese pastry the other day. Holes were delish– sweet and light without being too dense or too sugary. Hot dog wrap was bizarre– gentleman behind the counter warmed it for me, but the weight of the sausage practically tore the delicate croissant-style dough when I picked it up, so it was falling apart. Would really suggest a different dough for this menu item– perhaps an idea better executed as a kolache. Service was friendly and prompt, prices were good– spent under $ 5.

I have been going to this place since I was a kid. They have a large selection of doughnuts and they for the most part are all pretty good. They also have a selection of breakfast sandwiches, though I have never tried any of those. The prices are pretty reasonable here as well. Every time I have been here too the staff is always friendly and quick. Usually they only have one person working, so they can get backed up sometimes, but never that bad.

Short Version: After the«Christy Donuts fly incident», I decided to switch it up… JD is closer to me anyway. Unless you’re the sensitive type that needs the person behind the counter to be extra friendly to you, you’ll like this spot. It’s clean, the donuts and custard are fresh and taste good, and you’ve got a bunch of other options(like bagels or breakfast sandwiches) Extended Version: Custard-Filled Chocolate Bar(3 ½ stars) Chocolate Donut(3 ½ stars) Chocolate Donut Hole(2 stars) Donut Hole(2 ½ stars) Custard-Filled Donut Hole(3 stars) Misc. — The place is clean and I didn’t notice any flies/fruit flies — Service is professional, but not friendly — I think they open around 5a-6a on weekdays
