History

Established in 2001.

Justin Mott grew up on a ranch in Sunol, CA. He started riding at the age of 3, learning from his parents, who are great horse people in the California heritage style. Being around horses since the day he was born gave Justin a good feel for horses and the way they interacted with people.

Justin took on his first horse in training at 11 years old. His goal was simply to hang on and not get bucked off! Since then, Justin has broadened his knowledge of natural horsemanship. In particular, he admires Tom Dorrance, Clinton Anderson and Shawn Flarida. He believes we all need to continuously learn, in order to better understand horses, and to become the best riders we can be.
