Ok, so I have been coming back for supplies and it turns out the guy I bashed was pretty helpful. Maybe I caught him on a bad day or maybe he is understaffed on some days. I work retail and when I’m short people I’m a dick so I feel for him. Since I have been going back I have really warmed up to this place. It’s a lot better than buying supplies at Wal-Mart or home depot because they have very specialized chemicals that will make your life a lot easier.

Have called this pool supply on a number of occasions and I usually get left on hold for a while this time I finally hung up. I had a simple question about my pool sweep, the guy launches into this whole test explanation that doesn’t even apply to my pool sweep when I tell him the model again he just says ooh hold on, he should have said stay on the line till you become a skeleton. They are very over priced and under trained, go online for your products or best yet Costco. I have had a pool for almost 20 years. Dr.R

11÷1÷2014 Do not use the install technical service; it is unreliable, unresponsive and not dependable. We ordered and paid for a new pump and filter system in August. The store manager was fine and the install was done when scheduled. However, the pump had a leak and we requested a replacement. It was an absolute nightmare and took until mid October to get it replaced. We actually had to go into the store in Milpitas to complain before we had any satisfaction. The worst part of this cluster… Was when one of many Friday appointments were made. We received a message at home on Wednesday stating a Thursday time was available and to call them if we wanted that new appointment. We did not call because it was after service hours and we had already made arrangement for a dog sitter. When we got home on Thursday, there was a service tag stating«Sorry we missed you»! I called the service department and they had the gall to say we changed the appointment. So if you need to buy pool supplies, they are okay. Beyond that, you’re on you’re own!

I’ve never seen a store so empty, and even so… the customer service is HORRIBLE. My boyfriend has a pool and this is the closest store for supplies. Every single time we walk in, the employee gives an appearance of annoyance. I’m going to be brutally honest, he has a really crappy salesman approach. Words to describe this particular associate — Unprofessional, pushy and RUDEASHELL. It’s not hard to figure out who I’m talking about, since it’s always the same person working. During the last visit, I got so annoyed that I had to wait in the car since I was 2 seconds away from lashing out. Would not come here if there is an alternative around the area.

the staff here have no ideas what they’re talking about. I was fooled into buying an expensive pool aid that doesn’t work. It was supposed to clean up the dead algae but it made my whole swimming pool bubbling, then the algae came back. I came back and asked why. The girl who works there told me that maybe I have overdosed my pool so it reverses the effect. I argued with her that the whole bottle is for a 25,000 gallons pool, and my pool is nearly 30,000 gallons. So if any case, it would be under-dosage, not over-dose. She replied«oh yeah, it will reverse the effect too if it’s under-dosed!» That was completely bullshit. I asked her«if that’s the case, why doesn’t the manufacture put a warning like that on the label?» She said«I don’t know, but if you read about those chemical ingredients in your chemistry book, you will understand why». To that point, I was fed up with her, and just shook my head while walking away. This store is only good if you know what you’re doing. Otherwise, good luck finding a knowledgeable staff.

yay! im a fan! i have been here several times. at first, I was not pleased with the service. ive owned a home with an inground pool for 6 years now and have been ordering things online and calling other pool companies outside the san jose area simply because of the lack of service i experienced. BUT, the last two weeks of coming in has changed my mind. previously, the older men working at this store didn’t give me the time of day(maybe because I look young). so, if i were to ever come into this store and see them, im not going to waste my time. there are two workers in the store that are fabulous. one, her name is kelly and was very courteous. the other, im not sure of his name, but he is this tall red-head guy. the last two occasions coming into the store, he helped me decipher over purchasing a waterfall/sprinkler that floats in the middle of the pool. he also educated me on pool lights as well as solar panels. he was very helpful, did not discrimate, smiled at everyone, and was very knowledgable. would come here again only if these two were working!
