I have received nothing but AMAZING customer service and products from Dick’s Color Center. They supply two quality paint brands, Benjamin Moore and Pratt & Lambert, and carry a large supply of premium materials and tools. The family of owners in the company: Lou, Jeff, Louis, and Kevin, as well as all of their employees will gladly go above and beyond to provide the best customer service. They truly care about their customers and it shows in how they treat them.
As a painting contractor, they help my business with their consistent availability, reliability, and honesty. They build real relationships and do everything in their power to help support other small businesses like my own. I highly recommend Dick’s Color Center to anyone for their painting needs.
And to respond to Brandon’s review below-​$ 49/​Gallon for paint is a good price when it’s a high quality paint like Benjamin Moore/​Pratt & Lambert. I’ve used just about every current paint out there, and from my experience you’ll be thanking yourself that you paid $ 49 for a paint that’s gonna last for 10+ years rather than a $ 25 paint from Home Depot that you’d end up buying again every following year because it has no durability. It’s all about value.

Why do you go to a specialty paint store and pay more than the larger home improvement store? For service and a better quality product. They signed me up in the computer telling me it would keep track of my purchases since they didn’t have any samples of the color I bought. Then they can’t access my info and I have to make multiple trips. Not to mention it was $ 49 a gallon! It’s white paint. I hope it will withstand bullets and earthquakes at that price. Nope it’s just paint.

The store was incredibly clean, welcoming, and quiet. The guy behind the counter welcomed us and after directing us to the paints, we began our mission! My mother and I looked through hundreds of paint samples until we found our two Benjamin Moore colors. We got about two quarts for each and asked for a bit of advice regarding primers.
The guy who was helping us was helpful and knowledgeable. I know very little about DIY stuff, including the basics about certain types of paint/​primers. It was nice to have him explain everything to even a dummy like me.
I’m also still on crutches, which makes trips to the store hard and annoying for me. This place was accessible to gimps like me, and I truly appreciated the little sitting area near the paint samples.
I appreciated their patience and sense of humor– I hope to come back soon for my next project!
