MDS Resource was established in 1990 near Chicago, IL by Mike S to guide local small businesses to the onramp onto the Internet. When Mike returned to his hometown in late 2008, he brought his businesses and business acumen with him.

In 1990 there was no World Wide Web; but there was a local business need for managing computer networks and systems. Mike always seeks to bring to small business the technological advantages he uses with Fortune 100 companies — at far lower costs. Today, local businesses struggle to grow in a sluggish economy.
