I specialize in treating vision disorders of the retina, especially macular degeneration, by using unique hand and foot-​based acupuncture treatments. I also have great success in treating shingles and frozen shoulders among many other things.

If you’re an athlete, check out my Athlete Repair Service session that combines 30 minutes of acupuncture with your choice of 30, 60 or 90 minutes of therapeutic bodywork! Great for pre– or post– race care.

History

Established in 1998.

I began my practice in 1998 by offering Shiatsu and then added acupuncture in 2000. In 2005 I completed massage therapy training and subsequently added that modality. Since 2011, I’ve been located in Linden Hills at 3511 West 44^th St. in Minneapolis.

Mats Sexton, L.Ac. is a nationally sought after practitioner of acupuncture who treats degenerative eye diseases. In practice since 1998, Mats has settled into a new location as of November 2011 to concentrate on «Vision Repair Service,» a five-​day intensive program of acupuncture and education for those with chronic vision conditions affecting the retina.
