The Minturn Anglers hunting guide service has private access to ponds, lakes, rivers, and farming fields along the Front Range and out onto the Eastern Plains to provide you with the best duck and goose hunting in Colorado. Your guide will select the best location depending on your target species and provide you with firsthand knowledge of the targeted bird’s patterns.

History

Established in 2008.

Our main shop where we started in 2008 is located in historic Minturn, Colorado, nestled between Vail and Beaver Creek. Minturn Anglers’ main shop is situated right on the Eagle River. We also have a location in Vail Village (on the Solaris promenade), as well as our newest location in Parker (Denver), CO to better serve the Front Range. The Vail Valley is at the epicenter of the premier Colorado fishing and less than two hours from Denver. Our staff is on the water guiding, floating and fishing 365 days a year, come rain, snow or shine. This has helped our guides develop a reputation throughout Colorado for their ability to catch trout. Just ask our Minturn locals!

Business Owner

Matt grew up fishing the rivers and lakes of the Midwest. After moving to Colorado over a decade ago, he focused his efforts on the beautiful trout species that inhabit our great state. As a owner and principal guide at Minturn Anglers, Matt exhibits the knowledge, patience and positive attitude to ensure a memorable day out on the river. Matt goes to great lengths to put his clients on fish and even greater lengths to establish a balance between invaluable instruction and good laughs.
