I used to eat at this Subway every night circa 2010. All the employees knew my order(Oven Roasted chicken on Jalapeño cheddar, with Onion, Bellpepper, Pepperjack cheese toasted with meat, topped off with Chipotle sauce, Olive oil & salt and pepper) and used to prepare it as soon as I walked in. Even before that, Subway was a value proposition due to their stamp initiative. Getting a free sandwich after 6 visits was a very good deal to broke ass students like us in Cincinnati. We used to love their Toasted Tuna sandwich as Tuna was something that we never had the luxury of eating coming from the 3rd world. I still think that the Oven Roasted chicken that I eat is the healthiest meal portion my body can handle. These days I usually stop by Saturday AM on the way back from work and take home their Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich. Pros: Same consistent taste all these years. Oven Roasted chicken is very healthy.(+1) 7 – 11AM Breakfast items, and portions are very good value(+1) Cons: No drive through. This might be the reason I rather just sit in my car going through Carls Jr. than go inside Subway. Dang, I am lazy.(–1)

Employees fast and friendly. Easy parking. Next to the performing arts center, great eating here after a show.

Love Subway, the sandwiches are always fresh and taste good. This location has problems. They play the music in the store way too loud. The employees can’t hear you and you can’t hear them. The person making my sandwich almost made so many mistakes because they couldn’t hear me. Music does nothing for my Subway visit. I would prefer to have my sandwich made correctly. NOTETOMANAGEMENT, QUITTHEMUSIC.

Horrible Horrible Horrible service first of all English is obviously not the first spoken language or second apparently couldn’t understand that I wanted a Kids Sandwhich meal then proceeded to use the wrong size bread even after the other employee told her I wanted a kids meal then when I got to the register the girl at the register was going to charge me $ 3.00 extra because it was a six inch and when I told her I asked for the kids sandwich and I didn’t even ask for the six inch she wiped all the ingredients off the sandwich and put it on the childs size bread instead of making me a complete new sandwich or even giving me the one they made, they rather waste food than give me something without charging me even though it was the employee who couldn’t understand english fault.

BUYERBEWARE!!! La Mirada has one of the highest sales tax rates in the entire State! Currently at 10%!! Unfortunately, this particular shop will overcharge its customers on sales tax exacerbating the already high rate in effect. Today, I was charged an effective sales tax rate of 17.75% on a purchase of a sandwich, chips, and a drink!!! I complained to the staff present… But, to no avail… Turns out that this franchise taxes on the gross sales amount and not the ACTUAL sales amount if any type of discount is applied. This is obviously quite contrary to the way tax is calculated at the overwhelming majority of other restaurants in the area. And, of course, that means that YOU pay MORE tax!!! Aside from that issue, this location is fine. Food quality is fresh. Employees are friendly. And be advised… This place is popular. Seats can disappear very quickly during their lunch run…

I’ve been coming to this subway for years and have never encountered a problem. The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. Once in a while you get a young teenager who just looks like they hate their jobs. I always beat them with kindness, so I end up getting the services I want. A lot of people are saying they get charged for extra services but I’ve never encountered this problem. Every time I go I ask for an extra side of pickles and olives and they give me a grip. So I never had any complaints.

This place makes me anxious. I think it’s the fact that there is only one line and that people are notoriously sent to pick up sandwiches for all their peeps. So while there may only be 4 people in line, one person may be picking up 3 sandwhiches for someone else and it becomes a 20 minute wait to order.

Usually busy hen I go at 1pm during the week, though they are typically pretty quick with getting you through the line. Always courteous and clean.

To be honest this place is really hit or miss. I’ve had either prompt service or I’ve had to repeat my order over and over again and they still get it wrong. I’ve walked into this place to see it filthy or reasonably clean. I’ve even walked in to hear the staff arguing and swearing at each other. My last visit about two weeks ago was another miss, not only did the sandwich artist have difficulty remembering my basic order but she was slowed down by having to scoop various veggies out of the lettuce. It wish is place was a little cleaner, faster and friendlier so I could enjoy a sandwich more often.

I love my Subway. Basically my sandwiches tend to be a salad on bread. The sandwiches are what you expect when ordering, because we all know what Subway sandwiches are like. However, for me, it’s an issue with the sandwich maker not putting enough of the condiments on my sandwich that I like. It really depends on who you get making your sandwich if they put the quantities you like. Some of the workers are a bit chinzy with the toppings. I’m constantly having to ask them to put more lettuce on there. I’m not too choosy with the menu. There are a few sandwiches I usually get and don’t veer off from that. So I pretty much know what I like when going there. But if you want to try a really awesome bread, try the honey oat. It may have more carbs than the original wheat, but the honey goodness of this bread keeps me coming back every time.
