Nail Affair

Alright first off this place is amazing. If you’re looking for a nail place come here– seriously. I got an acrylic set and it was a little more than I’ve paid in the past at other places but WOW you get what you pay for. I don’t usually get acrylics but I felt as though she definitely took her time and my appt ended up running around 2 hrs which was fine with me because honestly it felt like 45 minutes AT MOST. Shawn the owner did my nails and she’s fabulous, sweet, and super funny. We were talking and laughing the whole time while others in the salon were getting in on the fun as well! A super amazing fun atmosphere it’s like a little party in there which is fine by me! Vibes are so great I had a smile the whole time in there and Shawn is only about making the customer happy. It’s so very important to her that you leave satisfied and happy. During part of my appt I asked when she ever had time to do her own nails and she told me she doesn’t have time because she is so busy making sure everybody else’s nails are perfect! She’s a nail goddess! Even if you don’t get Shawn literally anyone and everyone there is amazing, i would trust them all. So seriously just come here– it’s a small salon but easily one of the best I’ve been to. My nails are so pretty I literally cannot stop looking at them! Thank you Shawn I will be back in a few weeks for a fill

Awesome nail salon, the owners are so friendly and genuinely caring people. I got a great gel manicure but an awesome experience with some lovely people. Highly recommended!!!

A very relaxing salon, complimentary drinks, and extra long massages! I go to a salon to pamper myself, and this is the place to go. They are VERY clean and sanitary, well ventilated so the air doesn’t make you gag with acetone smell. Always do a great job. Quality.

When I need a little pampering, I come here. They take care of me, giving me the best nail massage ever! (Thanks April!)

This salon is amazing!!! The pedicures are the best ever in O.C. My friends travel up to 25 miles after coming here with me. The prices are great and you leave so relaxed.

I love coming to get my nails done. It’s so relaxing and everyone that works here is so nice. The massage is so amazing, better than some I’ve had at actual massage parlors. Definitely my go to nail salon, I refer everyone here!

I went here a few times for pedicures and enjoyed. Paid a «little» more than down the street, but thought the people were nice. I recommended my daughter give them a try when getting a gel manicure. They charged her twice as much as she normally pays just down the street, literally half a block away. Literally, called around to check prices at other salons in the area just to ensure I wasn’t being unreasonable. All others were $ 30 – 45. When I called to try to ask the owner why it was so much, she just rushed me off the phone saying «I told her how much it was when she made the appointment.» No way, I was there when my daughter made the appointment. I would not have let her go for that price. Owner was very flippant. Plenty of nail salons out there, no need to be priced gouged. Lesson learned for my daughter, always verify before they start.

This is the best Nail Salon in OC. Everyone who works here is friendly and fantastic. They care about every single detail! Everything is included for one price. They give the best massages. You are treated like family here. Everything is clean. I recommend this place to everyone!

Finally doesn’t get better than this, so nice no rush and relaxing.

My mom and I have been coming to this salon for years and the owners and the staff have always been really nice.

I recommend making an appointment because a mani pedi can take up to 2 hours. It’s not a place to go if you are in a rush. Sit back and relax :)

If you have $ 50 and up to blow on a regular manicure go here. What a waste of money. Very unfriendly and just plain rude. Not sure what all the snootiness is about they are just a nail shop not Versace.

I was eager to bring my sister, brother and brother in law who are visiting from out of town since. My brother and brother and law showed up first to put our names in and asked when they could service four mani pedis. The employees at this location were very rude and said «what do you want?» Instead of how can I help you. It’s a nail salon! What else would they want? Then they denied services to the both of them and said they were too busy when clearly they had room at that moment. I couldn’t believe how rude they were! I am very disappointed and won’t come back.

WTF?! Just walked in, looked like any other nail place. But walked out because it was $ 40 for just a pedicure… I don’t think I’m being a cheapskate here. That’s outrageous for a strip mall location to charge for Just a pedi.

I found this salon on Unilocal because I was in the area and needed a quick manicure. Not only did they have 2 girls work on my nails to ensure I would get done within my time limit, they didn’t skimp on extra massage time! My nails have honestly never looked better. I’m very impressed.

The service at Nail Affair is far above and beyond great. Every time I go in they treat me like royalty. And the massage you get with the manicure is sensational!!! Best massage even then some of the high end spa’s around here and I’m NOT just saying that :) Love love love this place!!!

Went to Nail Affair after my usual nail lady left Nails By Holly for a couple months. While I enjoyed my experience while there, and everything seemed clean… I paid $ 70 for a regular fill and pedicure. That is nearly double what I normally pay. When I asked about the prices they said that it includes repairing any breaks or problems I have in between fills. Does that mean I should expect to have «problems» in between. Come to find out, yes, I have 2 broken nails after a week and a half and will not be going back. Not even to get them fixed for free. I shouldn’t have to make another trip and sit there for any amount of time when what I am used to is going once every 3 – 4 weeks with no broken nails in between for $ 30. Sorry!

Nail Affair is a wonderful place to get your nails done. They have great service. Nick does such a good job on my nails. My nails seem to last so much longer when I go to Nail Affair. The location is always clean, and everyone is very professional. The pedicure massage is the best! I would recommend making an appointment though, as they are always busy.

The Nail Affair can only be described as excellent. I have been getting my nails done for years. I have been to numerous salons, all over the country and have found that Nail Affair tops the rest. The nail technicians are kind, patient, and professional. The massages are a delight. My manicures and pedicures have held up for much longer than most others I have received.
All in all, Nail Affair has proven to be worth checking out! Enjoy!

I was right next door at OC Waxing and saw this place, so decided that with the hour I had to spare I’d see if they had any availability. The guy asked what I needed to get done and I said «mani and pedi». He said there’d be a 10 minute wait, which was fine by me. I waited… and waited…
After waiting 20 minutes, they put me in a spa chair to get my feet soaking. I waited 20 more minutes and looked up to see that all the pedicurists were still only halfway done with their other clients (in the filing phase not even in the polish phase). At this point I decided to take my feet out of the soaking water and tell him that I just didn’t have the time for this and had to be somewhere soon.
I was so frustrated. Just be upfront with me if you don’t have time. Don’t go wasting my time and say «only 10 minutes» when that couldn’t be further from the truth.

I’ve been to fair amount of nail salons and this one is definitely great. No infections, friendly service, great massage, and they don’t try to sell you anything extra and they don’t overcharge you, its definitely worth a trip. The owners are extremely nice and they seem to have a regular clientele.
