Not bad service but not very truthful about what they do and don’t care how you feel. Went in about6 months ago for a oil change and it was 74.99 now it’s $ 120.00 not sure how the prices change so much but the managers always change its better to go to the dealer at least they have a cheesy warranty with there work

The store manager and Noah are the best. TheyTook me in 30 minutes before they were closing with no problem.
Before I went to them I went to discount tire in RSM where they had me order the wrong part for my vehicle and did not want to work on my car since they were closing in an hour. They had no consideration for the weather and my vehicle driving in dangerous conditions.
All the Romona tire staff was awesome and got to work on my car right away. It turns out my vehicle did not need a new part and they were able to use the old part and put the new tires on.

I had gone to the dealer for an oil change and was told I need $ 1k worth of work. I decided to get another quote and went to Ramona Tires. I had gotten tires from them 6 months ago and got a great deal, so I figured they should be cheaper. They did the job for 50% savings! Awesome place & I highly recommend them. Ask for the store manager, Casey — he’s great!

So I used to go to Big O tires in Lake forest. I thought they were great. Turns out I was misled… it was the manager that was great. Casey! This guy is the best! Seriously! He is now the manager at Ramona!
So thankful that my cousin found Casey at Ramona! If this guy gets promoted to a store in Riverside, I would travel there to get my car worked on. This dude is the best!

I went their to get some tires the front desk guy looked lost but after him communicating with another employee he got exactly what I was looking for. Him in his team stay overtime to get the job done. Thank you for getting it done so quickly and thank Derek for his help.

Went here to get an oil change and I came out with squeeky brakes. The manager suggested around $ 900 worth of unnecessary repairs to my car that were apparently ‘critical’. He also kept badgering me to get their proprietary credit card. Don’t go here

Brought my vehicles here for years. It’s hit or miss — i go home happy with their service or a dread feeling i ‘m gonna die because i didn’t have a part replaced as they always come up with something wrong and will cause an accident. I got stuck with their lifetime alignment or rotation deals and their very enticing coupons. But going at Romana’s isn’t worth for me anymore. The anxiety and the. mistrust they instill with me
wife esp. with their upsells and inconsistencies. There are other trustworthy shops few feet away and I’d rather pay more and fairly.

It’s worth noting I had a recent experience with Ramona Tire where I wasn’t completely happy but mostly due to a misunderstanding. After a pleasant conversation, & clarification with the store’s manager Tona, I thought it was only fair to delete the post. With that said, and on the flip side of things, I was extremely impressed with how Tona handled my situation, exercising professionalism and genuine concern, expressing the goal I leave content and 100% satisfied. I must say, he delivered — I stopped by today as a follow-​up to recent oil change/​filter, back brake/​rotor replacement to address some questions I had. Tona went out of his way, came out to my vehicle, popped the hood and went through the recent service with me from A to Z, pointed out things I missed initially, breaking down each step, from inspection, preventative maintenance and standard care practices on all the vehicles that go on the rack. He went above and beyond for me, even providing a $ 25 gift certificate for the previous misunderstanding which I said was not necessary. He said simply that he’s there to deliver GREAT service, & that’s what I received. Thanks Tona, I really appreciate it!

Do not come here for any type of service on your car. About 2 months after having them install new brakes, rotors, and tires, I ended up having to replace my rotors because they had become so warped. This is due to them installing crappy quality brake pads.
Later on, I went to them because I didn’t know where else to go when my transmission started failing; the guy claims he’s «99% positive it’s a clutch problem.» At that point I had never worked on a car a day in my life beyond changing tires and even I knew it wasn’t a clutch problem. Luckily they gave me a good referral for a transmission shop (surprise! it was a transmission problem).
In summary, this place is a franchise and is focused on squeezing every dollar from their customers by using cheap parts and staff who don’t have the experience or common sense to diagnose difficult car problems. For example, something is wrong with my A/​C too and after the issues with the rotors and transmission I don’t trust them to make an accurate diagnosis or to make a quality repair. I’ll not be returning.

Cleanest Ramona tire EVER!!! My new home location!!! Clean, friendly, fast I have no complaints about coming here!!!

I love this Ramona tire. I drive further just to go to this location. I have been to the other one in mission viejo and was not satisfied they did services that weren’t needed. But the one on la Paz is honest and tells meet what I actually need. Love the credit card they offer no interest, makes it so much easier on the budget. You guys are awesome. Thank you very much

We have been coming here with all of our cars for over 10 years now. Everyone here, especially Tyler, are very helpful, courteous & knowledgeable. They are fast, thorough and very fairly priced. Will continue to always bring our cars here, wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Ramona tires on la Paz is a phenomenal tire store.

I’ve known Tyler, the manager, for years. One of the most honest men in the auto repair business. Took my car in for full brake job yesterday. Within an hour, Tyler called and said brakes were almost new, all I needed was an alignment. Save me $ 300. I trust him, you should too…, excellent service, honest repairs, no bs.

I want to give high praise for Ramona Tire Shop on 27 210 La Paz Rd. in Mission Viejo, Ca. I espiecially want to commend the manager Tyler for helping me get back on the road in a timely manner. I had a flat tire and took it to Ramona Tire Shop which they repaired for free even though I didn’t buy the tires from them. I was just passing through. The tire was fixed in a timely manner. I highly recommend them if you live in the area. They were courteous, friendly and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again in the future if I’m in the area. Thanks again guys and keep up the good work !

I came here a few years ago, and was extremely pleased with the service. I live about a half hour away, so I tried a few different places that were closer. Well, I came back to Ramona Tire. I was happy to hear that Tyler is now the Manager; Tyler has been working at the shop since before I started going there, and it was great to see a familiar face when I returned. The issue everyone else told me was the problem actually wasn’t the issue. They could’ve easily repaired that issue, charged me for it, and I would’ve paid for it with no questions asked. Instead, they were honest and told me I didn’t need a new fuel pump… my fuel pump shut off switch had been triggered. I am grateful for their honesty, and this has reminded me why I love this place!

I have been going here for years for new tires and minor/​major services for multiple German cars. They have always come through for me with best service that’s technically sound and economical.
I highly recommend these guys.

My leasing company called in for a tire after I had my tire blow earlier in they day. They confirmed that they had the tire we needed and they were told that I would be there in an hour.
When I showed up they told me it would be pretty soon. Two hours later I’m still sitting here.
Only 3 customers came in during the 2 hours so it was not too busy. Found out they didn’t call for official approval for an hour and a half.
If you are in a rush or even have a life I suggest finding another tire store. On the other hand if you want to watch a small TV in an nice looking but uncomfortable seat than this is your place!

Brought my wife’s 09 Odyssey for brake job. They replaced rotors and pads. Van squealed almost immediately. After a few months of suffering, I brought the van back.
They took all day, and returned a van that still squeals. AND they tried to sell me completely unnecessary shocks and struts (for $ 1000!). I knew there was nothing wrong with the struts or shocks, but I bet this obvious ploy works a lot of the time.
RSM Honda (WHO ARE AWESOME AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) resurfaced both front and back rotors and installed OEM pads. Brakes work perfectly.
I also had them inspect the suspension: RSM Honda confirmed struts and shocks were fine.
So, one visit to Ramona Tire turned into three trips to the mechanic shop, and I had to pay for brake work TWICE. Plus, if I didn’t know better, I would have spent $ 1000 for no reason.
Ramona Tire sucks balls and I will never stop telling everyone I know about their bad work and attempt to rip me off.
