Henry is the best technician there! They do get really busy on the weekend but I will not go anywhere else.

Love love love! My mom has been coming here for years (Kevin is her favorite) and so when I finally decided I needed a little pampering I was eager to give this place a try.
I came in with an appointment at 230 on a Tuesday for a brow wax, mani and pedi. They had customers, but weren’t packed. Hailey was my girl all day, and she was great! Quite the perfectionist, so although everything took a little longer, it came out looking perfect! She started with my eyebrows and was as gentle as possible, considering I had horribly unkempt manbrows. They’re shaped great and there isn’t a single hair out of place! My natural pedicure was perfectly relaxing. There was a great selection of polish to choose from. For my nails I did a gel polish, and again there were tons of colors to chose from! By the time I left (about 445) there were twice as many people as when I came in. I’m so pleased and I can’t wait to go back!

NAIL PERFECTION IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR NAILS!!! I went in today for a full set of pink/​white sculpted nails. Tom did a fabulous job!!! They are beautiful!!! It’s been a couple of years since I’ve worn them so, Tom put on a new set. He is professional, friendly and quick! In and out in less than an hour! LOVE THEM!!! Kathy G.

I have being going here forever and have never had a problem with the techs or the service until today. They were not busy for a Saturday so we were pretty confident this was a good sign. My sister was taken with a tech who was on her first day so when she told my sister she couldnt do acrylic it wasnt a big deal, so she was given a new tech named Kelly. My sister asked for rounded acrylics with silver polish what this woman did was no where near this. Her nails are uneven and jagged the white polish she used as a base was all over her fingers and the silver coat doesnt even cover the whole nail. Her nails look like a 4 year old did them. My sister was so upset she refused to pay or let anyone else fix them since we had already been there two hours (just for nails and brows). I have to give one star because what Kelly did to my sisters nails is the most horrific thing i have ever seen from a nail salon.

I have gone to Nail Perfection for years now. My favorite nail technician, Chad, has moved on to another industry, but since this place is so close to my house, I love going for nails or any eyebrow wax. My last 2 experiences with Nail Perfection have been sub par. I did not catch the name of the technician, but she cut my skin both times I saw her. She was annoyed that I «had to sit by my friend”-we hadn’t seen each other is weeks & this was our time to catch up. She rushed through my manicure, even though I told her how important it was for my nails to be perfect for my upcoming professional pictures. Upon check out, I asked that the front staff never pair me with this technician again, & they offered me 20% off my services, which was very nice. I miss CHAD! He took his time & was so kind to me. Next time, I will be trying someone new from the Nail Perfection Team.
Con: Cannot tip on credit/​debit card.
Pro: This place is really fast and overall does a great job on nails :)

So I’m going out of town for a wedding AND I get to see my ldr BF! But with all the crap I’ve been doing all week, I didn’t get a chance to get my nails prettied up for the wedding. I was stressed. Not only did I have old peeling polish, but my boy was gonna find out I don’t necessarily have baby soft feet! The horror!
So I was stressing at work, wondering if the airport sells nail polish. Then I got desperate and I ran away during my lunch break (sped away actually, I don’t run) to this nail salon. It was pretty crowded, so I begged them to take care of me in record time. I still need my job, after all. To pay for my nails and flights to the bf.
Kim was fantastic. And soooo fast. And soo meticulous! And gave an amazing massage too! And had a client who was willing to wait an hour for her. Kim is the shiz and my nails are on point.
Done deal. I’ve found my nail salon.

Sometimes this place is hit or miss — depending on who you get. Today we had Dan & PC and the were amazing! Great attention to detail, friendly, and perfect massages. As long as they’re working, I’ll be a repeat customer.

My friend called to see if she could make appointments for both of us to get pedicures together this past Saturday. She was told that they could get us in at 11:45 so we went and had breakfast and showed up around 11:35 so we had plenty of time to pick out colors. When we arrived, we were told that there were 7 people ahead of us because they had a «rush». My response was that we really didn’t have appointments then if we were going to have to wait on all the walk ins that arrived before us. We were told that she was just being honest about the wait we were in for. If she was really being honest, she would have told my friend that they don’t take appointments. The whole point of an appointment is so you don’t have to wait when you arrive. I have been going to Nail Perfection for years and have had good pedicures in the past but I will not be returning after this experience.

My sister and have gone here a couple of times and have a good experience with Kevin or Karen. This time we just walked in. It was really not a good experience. The girl that did my sister’s pedicure cut the side of her foot with the scrubber thing. The girl that did mine took the hide off the side and top of my foot and she cut my toe making me bleed. This is the last time we will go back there. I gave two stars because of the couple times we’ve had good experiences, but there isn’t any reason that both of us would have been hurt there or that the girl that cut my toe didn’t apologize. This was also the second bad experience I’ve had there. More care for clients and less concern about just getting it done would go a long way to ensure client safety.

The staff is very friendly! You can bring in your beverage of choice while being pampered. If Andrew is working, I can guarantee that you’ll have the best time. He will cater to you… take pictures, refill your wine and answer any questions that you may have. I will definitely be back!

The girl that did my nails was quite rough, the pedi was overly fast (as in not relaxing) and I hate the fact that you cannot tip on a card. They want cash or check. Check? Really? Not the best, by far.

I really enjoy how friendly the receptionists are. They ask if you have an appointment or are a walk-​in and if you have been there before they ask if you want your professional from before.
Stacy, who is my nail professional, is wonderful! She doesn’t hound you for gossip but is really easy to talk with if you want to talk. She does a fantastic set of nails and can fix the mid-​Missouri nail professional blunders such as: too much nail application, sculpting failures, length problems. I would recommend this nail salon to any woman or man who is I need of quality and doesn’t have a lot of time.

Lots of chairs, open late, and great manicures and pedicures at prices in line with all the other nail salons in Kansas City. I love coming here! Tips are cash or check only, so make sure you plan ahead.

I’m new to Kansas City and was looking to find my nail place. After getting my nails done at several nail salons, I wasn’t satisfied. I get the Gel on my natural nail with just the tips in purple. This way when they grow out it’s not really noticeable and I can get a month out of them.
All the places I had gone, within a week the clear back part of the polish would start peeling from the back forward due to it getting applied straight to the cuticle causing a sharp edge instead of a smooth one.
I expressed this to my technician, Karen and she completely agreed. She did a great job on my nails and was very happy leaving. But of course I reserved judgment till I saw how they held up in a week.
Well I was very surprised when they were perfect a week later, then two, then three… heck they lasted 2 months!
They are very long now, really getting in the way. I think the longest I’ve ever had them. Two did break but that’s just cause of me. Been busy so haven’t gotten them redone but I can’t wait till I do again.

I may have just found my new favorite nail salon! I would drive from Olathe again just to come here. Everyone was so friendly and professional. I got a regular mani/​pedi and was treated with respect the entire time.
They even gave me a free soda to enjoy during my pedicure. I was with a friend and we enjoyed talking to our technicians about a fun eating contest they were doing later that week. Usually it’s a little awkward since there isn’t much conversation between you and someone doing your nails, but I enjoyed talking with them (it wasn’t forced though, we could have just shut our eyes and relaxed all the same).
The only disclaimer is to bring cash for tips! The gas station next door does have an ATM.

I drove around forever on Memorial Day trying to find an open salon and stumbled upon Nail Perfection. I was told my wait time was going to be 45 minutes, but I think I only waited maybe 30, so kudos to them on that. Although, I thought it was interesting that I was bypassed in line several times by customers that walked in after I did.
Walking into the pedicure room is flat out awkward. You walk into a large square room (careful you don’t slip on the wet tile floors) that has about 22 chairs tightly lined around the perimeter of the room facing inward. There are two tvs, but I was sat behind a support beam that runs through the center of the room and couldn’t see anything, but at least my technician was nice and friendly. Sadly, my water was about lukewarm, my feet were barely scraped with the pumice stone, and I could’ve done a better job shaping and painting them.
My gel manicure was also pretty average, there a couple nicks in the gel, the painting skill is boring. She used a ton of lotion on my arms at the end and it left my skin feeling gritty and itchy.
Overall, it works in a jam, but they overcharge for the skill provided. The technicians are friendly and speedy, but the atmosphere is weird and uncomfortable. I don’t think I’ll go back.

I have been going here for years since they were located in Mission Mall. NEVER once have I had a bad experience with my services nor customer service. everyone here is friendly and upbeat. the owners are very personable people, I started out with the Owner, Tom and now I go to Mike and never had an issue with either. they always are so helpful and on top of everything around here. Trust me I have tried other nail salons for convenience and NO matter what I find myself back here for the overall quality.

Pro’s: You can always get in by walk in because they have a ton of people working.
Con’s: It’s a big place and the atmosphere isn’t always intimate so it’s hard for me to relax. Prices are a bit steep. Staff are big into getting people in and out quick.
Overall: I go here if I am in a hurry and need my nails done quick. If Ive got time to relax I go to my other place which is quieter, smaller, and more relaxing to enjoy the experience.

Not the best. The individual helping me had a friend come over during my manicure and talked through the whole manicure. Not very relaxing. The pedicure was very disappointing as well. I know that I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I made an appointment for a gel polish and pedicure and when I arrived, the staff was expedient and very friendly. At my usual salon, gel pedicures seemed normal. I prefer them as am outside and go barefoot or sandaled a lot and a normal pedicure lasts about 5 days to a week on my poor, mistreated feet. Even though they thought getting a gel pedicure was weird and they were in NO way set up for doing gel pedicures (I had to go to the manicure stations and poor Kevin was hunched over under the table, painting my toes and putting the UV light contraption alternately over each foot), they were very accommodating.
The price seemed about normal, maybe $ 5 more than I’m used to paying, but the massage chair was nice, the ambiance was pleasant and the staff were all very fun and chatty without being slowed down in the performance of their duties. I will definitely go back when I have other business in Mission and need a pedicure or manicure (which was my situation that day). Since I live in downtown KCMO, it would be otherwise inconvenient. But I would recommend them to anyone who lives in the area.
I’ll also add that they did a STELLAR job on my friend’s gel french nails. I haven’t seen such a nice looking set of nails since… ever. I don’t even usually care for that look, but hers were just SUPERB. And they looked quite tough, too. I imagine they’ll last a whole month!
Make sure to bring cash for your tip.

This is my friend’s usual pedicure spot and we had the day off together so we went to get pedis Friday morning. She had made appointments for us and we got right it. It was pretty busy for a Friday at 10 am. I like that they had all the polish arranged by color, it was much easier to find what I was looking for!
The pedicure chairs are very comfy and my pedicure was great. Cheap, too at $ 25.50. Like others say, bring cash for your tip!

This is my go-​to place for a quickie pedicure. The basic is around $ 25, the nail techs are friendly and while the shop is often crowded, the manager keeps people moving in and out so if you’re waiting, it won’t be for too long.
Bring some cash, you can put your service on your credit/​debit card, tips are cash and check only.

This place feels more like a spa where you would expect to pay $ 40+ for a pedicure. Given that they regularly mail out 20% off coupons to area residents, I only pay $ 20. It’s a steal!
Large selection of nail colors, two rows of massage chairs (request one), good ambience, and friendly/​qualified technicians.
Rarely have to wait. Every once in awhile someone will offer me a drink, but I’m not sure what they offer. The staff seems very close-​everyone dresses up for Halloween, family wedding pictures on the wall, TVs turned to the latest reality tv show or sporting event with everyone having a comment, and just an overall happy vibe.
Two thumbs up for Nail Perfection!

I have been coming here for about 2 years and it’s great. My pedicures are so relaxing and turn out well. They have the latest OPI colors too.
It’s usually very busy on Saturdays and Sundays so make an appointment. They don’t let you put over the amount for a tip so cash is necessary.
I am fortunate to have found a good place and great person to give me a pedicure. Plus it’s around the corner from my house.
