These guys know their drones. Had a syma gifted to me, one of the smaller models, and this was the 2^nd shop I’ve been to trying to fix my problem. Person that gave it to me didn’t really have time to mess with it and lost the battery charger. They were very helpful on getting me in the air with my new to me drone. Turns out the stock battery was killed hence why the battery charger I bought somewhere else wasn’t working. Took my Syma x5sw for its first flight finally. Woohooo! cant wait to get used to this sucker and I’ll be back here to upgrade.

Johnny and his staff know what they are talking about. They are very nice and helpful. They helped me get into RC planes and had all the equipment I needed. This is my go to shop for RC.

Guys were really helpful and nice. Showed my husband and I some new wings and made sure we left happy with what we had. Prices were good and location was easy to find with plenty of street parking.

Finally the 626 area can get their FPV fix without driving far or resorting to the dreadful 2 – 3 day wait for parts to arrive. If like myself you are drawn to the absolulte thrill that is operating an FPV drone, the wonderful folks at Drones and Hobbies have got you covered. Its my one-​stop-​shop for anything and everything FPV related with an inventory rivaling the biggest online retailers. Other online stores also leave you confused and overwhelmed if you’re just getting into the hobby with no way to provide hands-​on help with your craft. A thing of the past, I tell ya!
I’m so glad they’re local and are always willing to provide expert build advice and troubleshooting. They also offer tuning services for all flight controllers and firmwares which is just badass and can get your craft flying «on rails» or «locked in» without all the hassle of breaking props (or worse) in the process. I had an incredible experience dealing with the folks at Drones and Hobbies and will not hesitate recommending them to other fellow flyers. I will surely be paying this store a frequent visit. No better place to spend my hard earned dollars!

This store has everything that I need for repairs and builds. Instead of days of waiting for parts in the mail, I can get everything done in a day.
As this new RC industry is growing so fast in, newer and more refined things come out every month. What surprised me was that this store had almost all of the newest things that just hit the market. I really appreciate their efforts to keep up to date because I know I don’t have to look around for what is new.
So far, the customer service is outstanding. Everyone is willing to help and give advice. I met other shoppers that was at the store and they were able to give me some very useful advice.

Unfortunately crashed our drone and was in a bit of a panic until we found this store on Unilocal.Johnny put us at ease with his insight and care for not only our drone but also us. I used to buy most of my RC stuff on-​line because my local hobby shops were clueless about FPV and their prices weren’t competitive. The helpful guys at Drones and Hobbies know what they are talking about, stock all of the latest stuff (often before most on-​line retailers) and have great prices. So happy to have this in LA.

Been to most of the RC stores around Temple City. None of them carry the items I was looking for except this store. They are not only super helpful, but also give the great advices. I will recommend anyone if you have the questions about drone or RC. Just come and ask them. :)

Awesome hobby shop that just opened up. I came here to purchase a hoverboard as a gift, and was pleasantly surprised to see the collection of other remote control products they had. I not only ended up purchasing the hoverboard, but bought other remote control airplanes and cars as Christmas gifts. Their prices are really reasonable and they have great customer service. I had no clue what to purchase and they suggested products that would be appropriate given my nephews age. Will definitely be going back!
