We recently replaced the flooring in our kitchen. Ken and his team made the whole process so easy. We had a major subfloor repair and the contractor Ken recommended was so great we hired him to do a couple other jobs for us. Ken came out to our house with samples twice, so we could see them in different lighting. His team installed the flooring in significantly less time than estimated. The next day, when we noticed one area of the floor was bowing up slightly, Ken came out immediately, looked at the issue, and called someone to fix it. We are absolutely thrilled with the finished product, as well as the entire process… and the price too! Highly recommend.

We had Ken and his team out this past week to carpet a bed room in our home. This is the second tine we have done business with them. Just like the first time the service was impeccable. The price was right and the carpet quality exceeded my expectations. The day of the installation the crew showed up on time, were friendly and cleaned up when they were done. Thank you Ken and crew!

We found K J&M on Unilocal and just so happened to have a co-​worker who used their services recently. (She raves about their services!) We were looking to replace ugly tile and carpet with engineered wood. We shopped everywhere and had 6 different estimates. We had people who treated us indifferently and didn’t ask us half the questions about our opinion on important details, just «oh yeah we could do it for this much $$» with no written estimate (what they were planning to take short cuts on we don’t know)

1. Attention to detail! (Even made recommendations for small aesthetic items, addressed creeky floors, which way do you want floor to go? How can we do this so we don’t disrupt your life as much because you have a baby? and the list goes on…)

We have two boys and a dog and wanted light carpet. He found us the perfect carpet for pets and it has been so easy to clean up when the boys track in the dirt. We had a great experience with this company. We bought a condo in mid May and they gave us a full service installation experience. Wow! Their courteous and professional installers not only removed and took away the old carpet and pad, but vacuumed the base flooring, repaired any strips that needed it and laid the new pad and carpet in a timely manner. We are so pleased with the final result.
Ken, the owner, is very knowledgeable about carpets having been in the business for decades and suggested the best options for our price range and needs. If you are looking for quality and honest business practices he is a joy to work with. Most of his business over the years has come from word of mouth referrals. A good sign always. He will answer any questions and help you make an informed decision. We are thankful we took his advice to consider the pad quality to make a better final product. We looked around at the local big name stores which have a lot of hidden fees in their installations and carpet removal and felt that we were better served by knowing all our costs up front. You get what you pay for and we think we got a 20+ year carpet for the bedrooms at a reasonable cost and with great personal service. We would definitely use KJ&M Carpet again.

Great selection of all types of carpet with expert advise to match your needs and style. They set up 2 install dates to make sure they would match construction completion and then were still flexible. I needed ‘rental property carpet’ and was directed to padding and carpet that was affordable, durable, and much higher quality than I was considering at large ‘home’ stores. Highly recommend this company for great selection, service, and expertise, whether doing a fabulous home or rental.

My husband and I have had a horrendous time working with this company. We had KM&J Carpet install carpet into our home a year ago. Just a few months went by and the carpet started buckling in rooms that are unoccupied. They came out and fixed it. However, it started again a couple of months ago. They are refusing to fix it and say it was due to carpet cleaners. Unfortunately for them, we haven’t had our carpets professionaly cleaned in over 7 months. We’ve filed a formal complaint to the BBB against this company. The irony of all of it is that on their website it states «Our company philosophy has always been «whatever it takes», which absolutely ridiculous since clearly they don’t adhere to their own philosophy! Stay away from this company! They obviously do not know how to install carpet.
