Established in 2014.

RPM Garage is the latest addition to the RPM family. To better serve our customers, we opened this satellite location for RPM Auto Center, a local neighborhood independent auto service facility.

RPM is known for excellent customer service and honest, quality service.

Steve L.

Business Owner

Steve is the ultimate car lover and feels fortunate that his passion is also his work. He has a professional background in automotive product development and engineering at Nissan, Denso and AEM, and is the co-​founder of the reputable RPM Auto Center.

As if working on cars during the week isn’t enough, Steve enjoys racing on the track and offroading in the mountains during his free time.

These guys are awesome! They came highly recommended and rightfully so. My transmission felt a bit off on my Honda Pilot. I took my SUV to them and they knew exactly what to do. After a transmission flush, with genuine Honda fluid, my SUV was riding nice and smooth again. I really appreciated that fact that they took the time to explain and showed me what they were doing. It was my first time there and I have no doubt I’ll be back.

Called in, I’m assuming I talked to Steve L., who is the owner. Very friendly, accommodating to the time I wanted to go in. Went for an oil change and sat for maybe twenty minutes at the very most. Reasonable prices! Definitely going back there!

I rarely will consider to do a Unilocal review but since I receive amazing service at this place I decided to make this my first review. I drive a modified 2011 335i and I would always bring it and the other cars in the family to this place or the other establishment (rpm auto) for my vehicle needs and problems. Excellent service. I highly recommend both places.

Happy happy joy joy, happy happy joy joy. Car broken, went to RPM Garage. Mechanics did their magic and the car was working again.
In all seriousness, this is a great place to take your car for repairs and service. Honest and straightforward. What more can you ask for? This place is much cheaper than the car dealership and performs the same kind of work. If you need your car repaired, give this place a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been an RPM customer for the past few years and was happy when I found out they opened a new location in Monrovia. Steve and his team put customer service first and always explain what’s needed and what isn’t. No fluff. Their service is consistently excellent, and I know my G35 is in good hands with them. I highly recommend RPM if you’re looking for a reliable, honest place to service your ride in the SGV/​Pasadena area.

This place is the best auto shop I have ever been to. Steve was very informative and told me exactly what I needed to change and what I don’t need to change. It was great and the waiting area was really nice and has a at home type of vibe to it. He is even willing to drop you off nearby if you don’t want to wait around. He changed my brakes, rotors, 2 front tires, my alignment, and he even fixed my passenger window at a reasonable price. It didn’t break my bank like how a dealership or other autoshops would. My car drives like a champ and it’s like brand new. And he also fit me in when I called 5mins away. He will do whatever to make it work. I can’t thank this shop enough. Come and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Was originally at another local tire shop but after getting literally no service there I contacted Steve, he was able to get the tire I needed and get it installed within the timeframe I requested. I will definitley bring my car there for other services.

I called Parkson about 40 minutes before I wanted to drop in, vaguely complaining about a weird car noise that may or may not have been due to some other vague condition a previous mechanic mentioned, he was very friendly and accommodating over the phone, inviting me to come on down. When I arrived he made me feel very comfortable, chatting with me while he checked various things in my car, explaining what he was doing in a very conversational, non-​condescending way. Parkson and him team are not at all pushy about any products or services and seem very skilled in their trade. I will definitely be bringing my car back here when I need work done.

Excellent service today. They weren’t too busy so they only took 20 min doing a basic oil change and service check. I feel I can rely on them if I’m short on time. Steven the mgr at RPM was super gracious in referring me over to this location and making sure I got taken care of right away. Thank you Steven and everyone!

I work around the SGV and was lucky to find RPM during a mini emergency. I’ve been here twice since then and have had perfect service each time. I first stopped in after I got a nail stuck in my tire — I was THISCLOSE to getting on the freeway before I realized my tire was flat; nervous and needing to get home, I went on Unilocal to find a place that would help me asap. I called two other shops in the area that had good reviews and neither place gave me the time of day because they were really busy. Parkson, however, helped me immediately and found a tire that fit my price point. He’s super cool, honest and very understanding. I was in and out very quickly and have come back in to get other things fixed (my car is having so many problems). I will continue to come because I feel my car and I are in good hands. Go to RPM if you need a mechanic around the SGV!

Being very mechanically inclined, frequenting racetracks with my cars and bikes, and generally doing my own maintenance and upgrades in the past (but not having time any more), I have very high standards about who services my car and how they go about doing it. But I have found it extremely difficult to find a trustworthy shop with what I would consider competent mechanics.
Parkson and Willie are a great team.
Parkson is a great communicator. I went in for work on my ABS system, and ended up having more service done (more $$), but I was okay with it because of the clear communication of the need, practical advice for more immediate needs vs. things that could wait, and fair pricing.
Willie is an incredible diagnostician and mechanic. He was able to resolve a drift in my steering on braking and acceleration that other mechanics could not pinpoint and resolve it. He patiently explained to me what was done to my car, and showed me the parts he replaced.
These guys worked with me to replace my ABS computer with a used unit that I was able to find on eBay for $ 80 (vs. $ 1200 for a new unit). I was greatly appreciative.
I would highly recommend these guys to the pickiest of car owners.

Parkson and his great team are amazing! They do excellent work and I absolutely recommend RPM. The turn around time is efficient and the pricing is amazingly reasonable. I have a very busy work schedule and they always accommodate me. They are sincere which is very refreshing these days. GIVE THEM A TRY. they are just the best

Parkson takes really good care of his customers. They have fair prices, that can now allow me to get more than one thing fixed. They have a great attention to detail, and keep you coming back.
I am so happy that I found this shop, it’s a big weight lifted knowing that if something were to happen to my car, I have a place I can take it that’s not going to cost all of my money, and it will be fixed correctly.
Also– having a shop that speaks clear english and is able to call and give status updates that make sense, is INCREDIBLE.

Honesty is what makes this shop and the other RPM shop stand out from other independent repair shops. This is the 2nd shop grown from expertise derived from RPM Auto Center. I’m a car enthusiast and I need to know and trust the guys that work on my cars. The guys: Steve, Parkson and Willie instill confidence, professionalism and honesty in their work and treat each customer like family.
Prices are more than fair for the work performed right. Cheaper than a dealer and service as good or better.
Just a few blocks north of the 210 freeway on Myrtle, will need to enter from an alley to reach the back.
The shop is clean and the waiting room has a little play area for kids. Free Wifi and water are pluses.

It’s hard to find a honest mechanic. Dealerships will always up-​sell, charging an arm and a leg while they’re at it. The independents are «like a box of chocolate», never know what you’re going to get.
Upon a recommendation, I called this shop. I explained my car was idling low and was cutting out at times. They asked me to come down, that they’ll fit me in. Nice!
The place isn’t hard to find, but you’ll have to go around to the back of the the garage to reach the port. The cozy waiting room reminds me of a model home. They have a play set for kids, a comfy sofa, and coffee. The manager called it a boutique shop. I can see it.
The mechanic diagnosed it immediately, ordered the special part, and had me out faster than an oil change. The bill was reasonable and more than fair. The service was professional. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
Thumbs up, they won’t «steer» you wrong. As always, let me know what you think.
