Icing Montclair

Went here yesterday with my friend to grab a couple items for stocking stuffers. Whatever who cares. We were in there for 10 minutes. I went up to the register after other rude encounters, this one particularly pissed me off. I put my necklace down, three girls were at the counter, all of them looked at each other, as one basically cringed that she was closest to the register. The other two girls went in the corner to talk about their drama. my friend was behind me waiting to purchase her items, when one of the drama queens said «uhm I’m open ». how she was suppose to know you’re open when you’re in a corner talking to your «friend» you probably talk crap to about to your other co workers. Lmao, all of them were rude. Literally never coming here again.

So I was on a quick errand to pick up some accessories and the sales associates try to convinces me to buy unnecessary stuff. Whatever, it’s their job… But here’s the annoying part THEIR SYSTEM WASN’T EVEN WORKING.
This poor girl Jeanette called their downstairs sister location at Claire’s but she was unable to find her manager or anyone else who could help her.
So she had no other way of reaching her manager. What a fail! Shouldn’t you have your manager’s contact info!!!
This girl basically told me there was nothing she can do about it. After she wasted my time… Kid. Time is money!
So I asked this girl for a number for complaints and grievances. My intention was to complain about their cashier system… but she was so annoyingly clueless and slow and confused… she looked through A-​Z and couldn’t find a number to give me. And she said I should just call her manager… I would ask for the number but if she had it she would have called her for help already.
Luckily she saw her manager come back to the store to punch in her employee id number to ring me up. And as if I wasn’t annoyed enough she took forever to ring my four items up… and took forever to find me a pen to sign…
I acknowledge that a system error is not in her control, but it is the way she handled the situation that thoroughly irritated me. The managers need to train these workers more efficiently and make themselves more reachable during these emergencies! Rawr!

I usually don’t like going to places like this to get piercings done but I decided to get my second piercing on my ears with my little sister. The girl who did it was super nice and really helpful I totally forgot her name, but she’s the tall girl with a nose ring. The other two girls there were totally rude to her in right front of the customers who were shopping there. As a person who has been working in customer service for a very long time THAT IS REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. At least have respect for your customers and fellow co worker and not have such a bad attitude I’m front of your customers.

Love this place! Totally recommended. Staff are super nice, very helpful. Jewelries are super cute :)
