Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. He was the most budget friendly smog test location in the city. Huey is very kind and I felt very welcome. Very affordable, quick and easy, will definitely come back for my next smog check!

Came in on a Friday around 2pm and went right in. Took less than 10 minutes start to finish. My Honda Ridgeline was $ 45.

I had a very pleasant experience at this location. They took me right away and made me feel welcomed. I was greeted outside. The worker got up from his desk and welcomed me. The workers are efficient and make it a priority to get you on your way ad quick as possible. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone who received that DMV notice for smog test!

I went to Montebello Smog Test Only Center based on urgency and Unilocal reviews. Y’all weren’t lying: excellent customer service, wonderful price, and incredibly accommodating. I was in the shop for about 15 – 20 minutes, there was 4 other customers there in total and the computers went down for a bit. When the computers went down, they were so apologetic and began taking our phone numbers down in order to give us a call when they were ready to go again. Luckily, the system came back on and I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. I paid $ 40 for the check that included the certificate. Will definitely be coming back here when I need another one!

The guy doing the smog check was friendly and quick. He had the whole thing done in about 10 minutes or less. I paid $ 50 for my 1999 sedan. I definitely saw the service and efficiency worth the $ 50. He seems to get through people fairly quick, so I don’t even know if an appointment is necessary.

Excellent service! First time I came here they were very accommodating. I get off work at 6pm and that’s the time they close so when I called to check the hours he asked if I was local and he said he would wait for me, when I showed up they were still there! They are awesome! This was my second time here and once again waited for me and did the whole smog check in 15mins. Price is great they only charged me $ 40 out the door and other places charge $ 60+ I would definitely recommend this place and I will continue coming here for my smog checks!

Needed to get a smog check so I decided to bring it to this place because it was rated 5 stars. I had a great experience! It took about 10 – 15 minutes and the guy was really nice. I paid $ 40 for the smog check, certificate and tax. I would definitely recommend this place.

10 minutes I just sat down fill out paperwork and done. The gentleman there were very friendly and they had the best client service they offered me food and water from start to finish it took 10 minutes he explained the processed I will definitely will be returning back

Came in at 5pm Wednesday afternoon the guy was really friendly told me it would only take about five minutes. I’m writing this as he’s doing it. I’ve been here before Unilocal was even in existence … But I remembered them being friendly and they don’t rip you off of your a girl. Ok the guys name is Huey. They charge 41.75 for trucks like I have and small cars 31.75 and they also charge 8.95 for the state certificate. They’re pretty fast and hassle free. I’ll be returning when I have to do this again. Damn you DmV. Lol jk out by 5:16pm

This has to be a great price locally. I paid $ 40 total for everything.
I have never waited and I have been here 3 times. I believe the test may take a total of 5 to 10 minutes.
I even took my brother in laws car, which had a dead battery in the morning and they did not charge me. From what he told me when a car has a dead battery the car’s computer did not cycle yet to check all the emission sensors. He checked it out and told me to drive the car 50 miles to get it ready and come back. He could of easily charged me and told me its a fail, but with his honesty he has earned all my business :)
What I really like is this is a star certified place and TEST ONLY. They are not trying to fail your car to make repairs and money off of you. I don’t really trust the stations that do both and you should not either. Take your car here and get it done for just $ 40.
