Vivian saves my butt time and time again. She is the reason why we even have a business, seriously.
On top of that, she is the most incredible human being. We love her to pieces and wouldn’t know what to do without her!
We use her for our bookkeeping, quarterly taxes, and she even helped us incorporate. I don’t think there’s anything she doesn’t do. She also sings Little Mermaid songs very well, just ask (it might be extra though)

I’ve always done my taxes but for this year I decided to have someone do my taxes since it was getting more and more complicated — and I was too lazy to do it on Turbo Tax. Vivian was super friendly and knowledgeable. She asked me for the necessary docs and always followed up. Definitely recommend coming here for your taxes — a little pricey but worth it. Its quick and efficient.

I called in January, seeking service on tax preparation. I could do my own tax, but I think it is a time when I need to find and establish relationship with a CPA for more advises. I asked for Vivian as that is what Unilocalers recommended. She was nice on the phone, but quickly suggested to have someone else work on my tax instead. That is fine, as long as the person is good. I was told someone would contact me, but that didn’t happen. I moved on and found someone else to do my tax. I think it is unprofessional to not follow up with your clients or even potential client. My expectation is higher when the business has 5 stars on Unilocal

Wow I’ve never been hung up on by a professional business. Speechless. I only called to ask if they offer certain services and even before I could finish asking the question, he said they were too busy to answer any questions lol. So much for professionalism

I’m so glad I found out about this place. My husband and I wanted to file our taxes together as a married couple, but we wanted to look for a place that was reliable and inexpensive. This is the place! David prepared our tax return. He was very knowledgeable and knows about dollars and cents and how to save money. He and his staff were very courteous and friendly. They even served us free coffee and cookies. They were quick and hassle-​free. They provide services in English and Chinese. They are so popular that I strongly recommend you to make an appointment ahead of time.

From the first phone call, I spoke to Louis, very pleasant and helpful. to my actual return filing. Very quick service, I never had a problem with my taxes. One year I forgot a 1099/​other income item and I got a notice from the IRS and CA ftb, I brought it in and they filed an amended return for me right away! I’ve been coming to Advance Tax & Bookkeeping for a good 7 years now and this place is top notch when it comes to service or professionalism.
I’ve been using their book keeping services for weekly payroll and I must say their pricing is extremely competitive to many other CPA offices. What wins me over is their service and attitude towards professionalism. My payroll checks are never late and sometimes they are the ones that call to remind me to fax my payroll to them. Talk about being on the ball with their clientele priorities. They speak a lot of the Asian languages so communication is never a problem.
My CPA Vivian L. is also a real champion. Every year during tax time she saves me a ton of headache and money when I drop off all these papers that makes absolutely no sense to me. We all know how stressful it is for anybody whenever they receive letters from the IRS and have absolutely no idea what those letters say. Vivian is always calm and professional. She breaks things down to me in layman’s term and explains exactly what she’s going to do for me that will result in my best interest. When it comes to taxes and accounting, there isn’t much good to say. But the one bright spot is Advance tax. These guys make the entire process simple. Vivian is very prompt with everything she does…(.which is a HUGE plus for me). I always feel confident that they’re getting me the maximum return while keeping my books clean and keeping the tax man :(off my back.
