Willie’s Tires & Alignment

I came here because i needed a tire on a weekend, found it here cheaper than most but still not a great price. I didn’t haggle price, just needed it done. Willie seemed friendly even put the wheel and tire in the trunk of my car, i shouldve inspected the wheel before i left. I live 20 min away, i called and told him about the wheel being scratched he denied everything, said i did it. Prior to him working on the wheel this wheels were bought 4 months prior still look new other than the one damaged. He claims i did the damage and he wont admit to it. I have picture proof od the wheel being taken of the car with no damage. I will take legal action. Please beware with this shaddy tire place

Mistakes happen, but when you’re honest, people usually forgive. They might even come back! When you lie, people get mad. I leave my BMW with Willie the whole day for tires and alignment. When its done he calls and says, «I think you hit something, there’s grass and everything under the car»
When I arrive, I see pieces of iceplant, stuffed and placed in and around damaged front air dam. Not sure why he needed all the staging. I then find scrapes and scratches on one of the rims. He tried to explain the machine this and that. Whatever! Bottom line, never go there with a car you care about.

Willie is absolutely wonderful!!! Had a flat tire, drove in, he plugged it and I was able to drive away in 15 minutes. Other places charge a lot more and just the waiting itself was terrible. One place said it would be an hour wait just to see if I had nail in my tire! This will definitely be my go to place in the future for my tire services. Thank you Willie!!!

Horrible quality customer service I called in to get a quote they said «you better come in and ask questions don’t waste our time with phone calls» … What kind of customer service is that? ! Stay away from this place!

Professionalism at its finest. Great spot. I now have two places for my go to tire/​suspension needs. This place has by far the best prices. One major thing that stood out to me besides the prices was the smallest of attention to detail that you get outta this joint. After installing four new tires and getting it aligned the tech took the time to clean my rims off and he even put tire dressing on the tires. Yes! For free. I dig these types of almost non-​existent people in this efed up world. These types of work ethics are ancient, and wish everybody would take pride in their craft as this gentlemen displayed. 1000 percent will be a loyal customer for my cars. GOOD SHHH

Willie is so friendly and informative. Came in for a quick tire patching and left with lots of helpful information. He is not pushy with sales and really offers you his honesty. Thanks for the quick and easy service. I will be returning

WILLIE IS AMAZING!!! I have two cars and i bring both of them to willie always eveytime. He does amazing work great prices and is a hard worker.
I brought my Subaru STI in to change a lateral link and and endlink bars it was a very hard job but he got it done, he is willing to put his back into it and work for you thats why i love him. He got the job done and got new tires and alignment.
If your a local looking for a tire and suspension guy he’s it for sure!!!

I’m sorry it took me so long to write this review. Because that means that a few of you already over paid for work needed on your car. About 3 ½ weeks ago I was looking for tires for my GMC. I looked around for the best deal. I looked at Firestone, Costco ands couple of other retailers. I thought I had found the best deal at Firestone on Washington Blvd. I was completely wrong. I got the tires and when I picked up my car I was told that the alignment could not be done because my car needed a new upper and lower control arm bushings and struts and shocks. This would cost me over $ 1000 dollars. This was not including the alignment. I knew my car needed some work but over a thousand dollars worth?! That price was separate from the price of the tires (which if I would had gotten them from Willie’s I would have only pays $ 50-​$ 60 more for all 4 tires). I then told my husband and he send me to Willie’s. I want to thank Willie for his honesty and amazing work! Willie’s tires and alignment saved me over $ 400 dollars. Willie you are truly a life saver. I can honestly say that you can trust Willie to do the job and at a fair price! And I’m willing to pay for that anytime! Willie, You will always have my business from know on! Thank you again. Furthermore, I forgot to say he was efficient and timely with the work being done.

Willie’s the best! Even drove me to a diner to have breakfast while he worked on my car. Fast and fair price. Will be back.

I just went here to replace my tire and balance the new one. He told me he had a new tire but it was 10 years old for 40 $ and the wheel balance was included. I thought it was fair and he told me the age of the tire. And that was that. Easy cheap and fast

Since I bought tires here, I have free alignments for the life of the tires YAY! Even though the tires were kind of expensive up front, with all the rotations/​alignments I get over time it makes up for the price.
Also I tend to have bad luck and run over nails and screws so Willie pulls them out and patches the holes for $ 10 and it only takes him a 5 minutes. If your tire is leaking out air you probably ran over a nail and should get it checked out ASAP because you do not want to ruin your tires by driving on it in a sorry condition, that’s how you blow out your tires. Making for a very dangerous situation.
Willie is always friendly and gives pricing up front so you know what to expect.

Took my car to him and the best deal from him. Very satisfied with his price. Did an excellent job .I highly recommend.

A great tire shop with even better service. Willie special ordered some tires for me and installed them a few months back. I returned today to switch out the rims and he did it at a great price. I’ll be coming back here for years to come.

FYI it’s a one man operation. Got an alignment done here and it was terrible. Easily a ³⁄₅ star service. His argument was that «it can never be perfect.» I’ve gotten alignments in the past before (same car) when I lived in Florida and there was never a problem compared to Willie’s work.
I would give ²⁄₅ stars but he has really decent quotes for tires (then again, I know of another place that gives even better quotes). Now I know why this place is usually empty.
Pay the extra $ 10 and go to Grand Prix across the street for an alignment. Friend who is in the automotive industry swears by them, and they’ve been in the business for years. Got my alignment re-​done there and it’s 99% perfect.
I usually support small businesses but my experience here was uneasy. Will not return given that alignments are a little expensive.

Very clean place! Great price for a tire rotation on a Jeep Wrangler! $ 20! Can’t beat that! Willie is also a really koo dude! Had a good convo while he was working. Great guy very approachable! Would definitely come back!

Excellent! I came on a rainy day to remove a nail and get a patch on my tire. He was very quick and when he told me my brakes were almost worn out he wasn’t pushy when he offered to change them. It half the price of the other place across the street.

Avoid this place like the plague! I took my car there to get a couple tires mounted and balanced, and Willie scratched my rims. He said I was supposed to tell him to be careful not to scratch my rims, are you serious? And he calls himself a professional?
He also doesn’t use a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts.
I should have went with my better judgment and went to Grand Prix Tires across the street. At least I would have professional mechanics that don’t need to be told not to scratch my rims.
If only Unilocal would allow for negative star ratings.
Once again, don’t go to Willie’s Tires and Alignment! Drive across the street and go to Grand Prix Tire or Just Tires on Atlantic Blvd and Brightwood Street.

I dropped in and explained to Willie the issue I was having with my car (2004 Honda Accord Coupe MT). Willie assessed my car and then gave me his recommendation and pricing upfront — I agreed to the service. As he was servicing my car he found a screw in one of my tires and asked me if I wanted him to attempt to fix it — «Yes!» He took my car for a test run and I was good to head on my way to work. I came back in the next morning because the problem persisted and Willie promptly took care of me. He also checked my brakes, shocks and suspension and informed me that they were in good condition.

Once again we bought new tires from Willie’s! We’ve been bringing our cars to Willie’s for over 7 years for new tires, fixing flats, alignments… He gives options of different tire brands so we can get what best fits our need & budget.
