Really good veggie burgers and fries. Also, you can customize the breakfast burrito to make it just potatoes and then add tomatoes and onions. thank you so much for being vegan-friendly!

For being the only eatery within a race track, Crusin’ Café was pretty darn good. Racing makes you quite the hunger monster(adrenaline, fast cars do a number on your appetite), and while many drivers don’t like to eat too much before racing, I, as a passenger, was very happy to eat all their leftovers! The variety here is great. From your all-american classics like a cheeseburger and fries, or chicken fingers, we also had salads, wraps, tritip sandwiches, and pulled pork plates. Everything was pretty darn tasty. Especially the pulled pork. The portions are quite large, and most of the men/drivers didn’t finish their plates. I gobbled my pulled pork up right quick tho, and then some of their fries. Line gets long around lunch, but moves relatively quickly, and the food is ready soon after. Outdoor seating area to eat is nice as racers see fellow friends and drivers, and there’s a little sense of community. Price is what you’d expect — $ 10 and under for a plate of food. Totally worth it for the convenience, taste, and speed.

For an establishment that is within an entertainment venue like a race track, this place is a solid 4 stars. Here is why: Variety +1 star There are many choices to choose from. I had the pulled pork burger and the BBQ plate with 2 of their smoothies. All were delicious. Taste +1 star See above. The meat on my dishes were marinated and processed well. They were very good, better than lots of restaurants in Monterey. Speed +1 star The service line is long, but it actually moved pretty rapidly. There are also 2 lines(at least when a big event is going on). So if the front line is very long, try looking for the line behind the restaurant. Price +1 star $ 9 — $ 10 a plate of food is very reasonable at any eatery, but at one that will save you the hassle to go out for food during an event and re-park your car on the way back. Don’t bother. This place is worth it. In short, I will eat here from now on. Going out for lunch is not really worth it. Good food at a good price. Count me in.

July 25 — It was cold and foggy and I had only one thing on my mind as I stood at the Leguna Seca Mazda Raceway waiting for the races to begin… that one thing was coffee… Coffee here was strong and okay — the lines were long but the service was ok too. { } } { { { } } } } { { { }{ } } (} { } { {) .- { { } { } } -. Haven’t had a bite here yet since we always hit up the Brazilian family nearby for lunch, but I got a lovely Iced Tea here today. Nice, ice cold and refreshing! It even came with a wedge of lemon, nice touch guys. Friendly and quick service. They offer breakfast burritos for $ 5 which is like free when you are on a mission to find food at the tracks. If you are tired of soda or beer(I know, who gets tired of beer right?!?) then get a lovely unsweetened tea here for $ 2. They offer smoothies too: currently strawberry and peach. I was craving a Pina Colada but not so much.
