This doctor does not care and won’t listen to any issues you have after surgery. I got shoulder surgery last year and still have a lot of pain. When I let him know he got angry, wouldn’t listen, and walked out of the room. Post surgery care was really bad and overall a bad experience.

I’ve been going to Dr. Carter for a couple years now & have received nothing but the best care. Before seeing Dr. Carter another doctor had told me I needed surgery to correct my shoulder problem so I decided to get a second opinion. Dr. Carter reviewed my MRI & had me do some physical therapy. I’m my shoulder is back to 100% without surgery. He staff is very accommodating working around my schedule & wait times to see the doctor were very quick. I highly recommend Dr. Carter & his staff.

I would not recommend this office.
The staff did not contact or get approval for my surgery from my insurance company. I had to do that myself.
Dr. Carter would not prescribe pain relivers when I really needed it.
Staff charged me for a 3 month follow up visit when I was told it would be included in the cost of the surgery.
The follow up visits was just a lecture on doing exercises.
