Robert is an amazing photographer! My wife and I literally have no complaints about his work. We had somewhat of a nontraditional setup for our wedding. We had a very small ceremony in March for the actual wedding and then had a larger reception in December. We worried that this would be too weird for most vendors and cost a lot more to separate their time like that. But Robert was completely on board with the idea! He worked with us on finding an affordable package that worked with the setup and put us at complete ease. Robert has a great knack for making people laugh and putting them in a great mood. It was like having an old friend with us enjoying out big day! Robert was also able to balance getting our attention when specific photos had to be taken and letting us take our time to meet and greet our guests. He also surrounds himself with a great team. His assistant played off of him well and had the same congenial personalllity that one comes to expect when working with Robert. And the photos are amazing as well. If I could, I’d frame all of them. Two very talented photographers to say the least. To put it all in to summary, I couldn’t recommend Robert more for your wedding or event.

Robert was amazing. He did our wedding and put engagement photos. He is one of the best in the business. We will have him take all our pictures from now on.

My wedding would not be the same without Rob as our photographer. He was fun, organized, professional and of course took AMAZING photos. We got married 3 weeks ago at Asilomar in Pacific Grove. The pictures we have seen are absolutely stunning. It is not possible to thank him enough for documenting our big day and making it so special.

Upon the impending arrival of a very important event, I did what any good Elite Unilocaler would do, and scoured the Unilocalsphere for someone to document the occasion, and that’s how I found Robert. I probably searched 15 or 20 websites before I got to Robert’s, and then I saw one completely perfect photo, and that’s when I knew, Robert was the one.
We conversed via email on the details, and I booked him for the day of the event. Because I’m a good 3 – 5 hours away, I lost my cool when upon a week prior all the news said showers, Robert was quick to settle my pre-​event nerves, and assured me that things would be beautiful
For the shoot itself, Rob was easy to work with, and had multiple cameras with filters, lenses and effects. He had beautiful suggestions on placement and ideas, and after the initial awkward few minutes, we got our bearings on poses, and it came naturally.
After the shoot, it was a very long time for me to hear back from him, but he eventually sent me the email for accessing the photos. I was absolutely thrilled until I saw that they were the lo-​def versions with watermarks. I had thought that our cost to book him included the access to the photos to use and download, but he let me know to actually access the photos on CD would be additional fees. This frustrated me, but he had me at that point because I had seen the photos, and was completely in love with them, so I had to cave.
That said, they were worth every penny. The photos that we decided on were flawless. They captured our emotions, beautiful angles, and the essence of us as a couple. He is obviously incredibly talented, check his website, and you’ll see what I mean. Beautiful photos staring you and your loved ones, that seem to stop time with their decadent lighting and effortless grace? Now that’s something to Unilocal about!

If I could give 6 stars to Rob I would. We hired Rob for our wedding this past Oct down in Carmel Valley and couldn’t have been happier with him! From the initial engagement session we did to the final hour of our wedding we loved working with Rob and his assistant. They were flawless and fluid being everywhere to capture every angle, yet they were never in the way or even noticeable for that matter.
Both the engagement pictures and the wedding pictures are amazing and seem to capture every special moment of our big day. Overall we couldn’t say enough good things about our experience with Rob. He is skilled at capturing that perfect candid moment, he was a true professional always on time, very responsive and easy to work with. My husband is an event planner who has worked with a number of photographers from various events and he puts Rob at the top of his list of solid, professional photographers who delivers what he promises.
Not only was he a great photographer, but being a father, he helped us tremendously when my flower girl (3 yrs old) had a complete melt down before the wedding (it was actually comical)!
All in all, we highly recommend Rob!

My fiancé and I won a free engagement session with Robert. We got the best engagement pictures I have ever seen. Robert took us to Carmel Beach at sunset and had us hang out and enjoy the sunset. I didn’t even feel like I was being photographed. They turned out amazing!!! People say we look like J Crew models. Robert was very friendly and even got rid of my fiancé’s camera smile!!!
