Pix by Shannon is an on-​location child and family photography business located in the western suburbs of Chicago. I am available for in-​home or on location photography sessions for newborns, children, maternity, families, high school seniors and couples.

Also available to capture the memories at your special event while you enjoy them! Events include, but are not limited to, child’s 1^st birthday, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, engagement, baby or wedding showers, baptisms, christenings and communions.

Hi! I’m Shannon, the one behind the camera! I have always enjoyed photography but I didn’t discover my passion for it until my first daughter was born. I enjoy being able to capture all the good times on camera since time truly does fly by. I love to take pictures in the moment and in natural settings. I find that is the best way to capture memories and truly see each person’s personality so you can remember that laugh, that frown, that smile, that kiss.

When I’m not taking or reviewing pictures, I’m home being a wife and mom to my computer-​loving husband, two little girls and two dogs. I organize a mom’s group and an online mom’s discussion board. I love to cook, bake and grill… and eat chocolate. I love chocolate!

I am available for portrait and life sessions of newborns, children, families, maternity, high school seniors or couples or let me capture the memories while you enjoy them at a special event!
