Dr. Kimberly Tedder was born and raised in Moorpark. She graduated from Moorpark High School in 1996, went to SDSU and then Illinois College of Optometry graduating in 2006. She opened her own business in Moorpark in 2008 where she currently resides with her family.

Hands down just the best service and professionalism you can ask for. I’ve worn glasses and contacts my whole life so I’ve been a customer of several optometrists over the decades. Dr. Tedder and her staff have always been great to me but what I’m most impressed with is how they work with my daughter!
Aside from the service Dr. Tedders really knows what she’s doing her staff can expertly navigate the various insurance carriers and manufacturers to help you get what you need. I love that they always look for rebates or warranties for my family!
We had to go to another optometrist last year because of a timing issue and the experience was horrible in comparison. It only emphasized how good this office is. We are never going anywhere else again!

Very professional. The doctors and the staff are committed to sure making that you’re needs are fully met for the client not themselves. They don’t try to upsell you on something you don’t need or want and they keep everything in mind of your needs and wants.

I cannot say enough about this business. Professional, home grown, convenient.
Kimmy and staff are very committed to making sure your clinical needs are met, tying in ins benefits, and service to fit into your schedule. You can save a few dollars having the clinical work gone here and getting frames elsewhere but the savings are not worth a new trip and having to deal with Walmart/​Costco service.

So heart broken… Just got word Dr. Tedders office manager is leaving after the year! She was the reason my family and I came to this place. She was the the only person we ever had that knew what she was doing not only here but since I wore glasses for 17 years ! I have had horrible times with the other two optometrists in town. But Maria always took care of us beyond anyone and our expectations and she’s gonna be missed!

Best place around for eye care! Dr. Tedder is very thorough, very knowledgable, has excellent people skills and is fantastic with kids too (if you are considering taking your child, she was AWESOME with my pre-​teen son). She’s got a vast assortment of frames to choose from and the turn around time for prescription lenses is really quick. Something else I was really impressed by was that she picked up an abnormality with one of my retina and, though didn’t create alarm, was quick to refer me to a specialist in the area. Dr. Tedder’s practice is a one-​stop shop for the whole family. Highly recommend!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Lam was great with my 7 year old daughter. This is the 2nd time in my entire life I“ve had a good experience at an Optometrist office. No hard sale, they knew exactly what my insurance covered and they didn’t push for better frames or lenses. I would highly recommend this office for their professionalism and welcoming atmosphere.

Such a great place and wonderful staff! Have been been going to this place for over 3 years now and will keep on going. Dr is very knowledgeable and the staff is beyond friendly. Great variety of glasses and contacts. Have recommended several people.
