YoFrutii Frozen Yogurt

I love the convenience of having a frozen yogurt place in Moorpark, but on the seven or so times we have been here, my favorite yogurt selections (ie. Plain) are always runny. The employee explained that sometimes guests do not put the handles back up and this can lead to off temperatures. While this may be true, the employees rarely have much to do, and it would be beneficial that as part of their job they would return the handles after every party.

YoFrutii Frozen Yogurt is absolutely fantastic ice cream. Made is small batches by hand, my double scoop of Brown Sugar Oatmeal and Milk Chocolate ice cream was a lot, but I made it through. This ice cream is dense and creamy and a little goes a long way. All of the flavors are interesting and it is worth the journey for us to get to YoFrutii Frozen Yogurt. Expect long lines in the summer!

Great little place for something different than dairy queen. I always am faced with choices when I go and that is the most fun part of a trip to YoFrutii’s.

While this is a nice, clean and new yogurt shop, not to mention, close to our home, the fact is that it’s not my favorite yogurt. While they offer some interesting flavors (blueberry, marshmallow, oreo… to name a few), the flavors have a strange way of «dissipating» after a few bites into it. By that, I mean, when you first bite into it, it tastes like blueberry, but eventually, it tastes like chemicals… you know, the stuff that creates the synthetic flavors we’re eating in the first place. I know, frightening to think about, but let’s be honest, those same chemicals are what make it taste good to begin with… but something happens here, and it stops tasting so good. I got different flavors each time, thinking that perhaps it was just what I had the first time… but no, it happened again the 2^nd time. There’s one more thing… both times, we had stomach issues after-​the-​fact. Again, I thought it was a coincidence the first time, but when I gave this place a second try, and it happened again, that’s no longer coincidence. Perhaps the chemical issue is related to the stomach issue. I don’t know, but now, it’d just be stupid if I tried again… so we won’t be going back.

We are so lucky to have such a great yogurt spot so close to our house! Their yogurt flavors are delicious as well as their toppings. It’s a fun place to go as a family or with friends. It’s nice that you can get as little or as much yogurt and toppings as you want!

This is a nice little self-​serve frozen yogurt shop in Moorpark. They have a good selection of low fat and nonfat flavors to choose from. They have lots of topping choices and I like how a lot of the toppings are in covered containers which keeps them free from critters or people’s sneezes. It can be tricky to open the lid and hold your yogurt without making a mess but I think it is worth it. They also have hot toppings such as hot fudge and peanut butter. There is seating inside and a couple of tables outside and plenty of parking in the adjacent lot. The employee was very friendly and helpful and the store is fairly clean.

This place is great! Best selection of toppings I have seen. Flavors are changing and good and overall it is clean and nice.

Big fan of frozen yogurt. Found this place decent, reasonably priced, and relatively clean. Thought the selection was a little light as half the 10 selections were non-​fat and the other half were low fat. Since I was looking for the low fat and not the NON fat frozen yogurts I was limited to only five choices. Still pretty nice shop and conveniently located deep in a residential area of Moorpark.
The clerk was polite, helpful, and friendly. Parking abundant in the public and free parking lot. As most of my Unilocal friends know, I missed the Frozen Yogurt craze in the 80s and 90s so I am making up for it these days.

Clean store, good costumer service, fresh fruit and so many dry toppings. i got the cappuccino with chocolate sprinkles, brownies and cookie dough .it was just perfect !!!

I do not plan to go back. Live right around the corner from Yo Frutti, but have gone to other yogurt joints depending on where I am.
Went there tonight and my husband and I were not impressed for the following reasons:
1.) no sample taster cups available — needed to wait for the one (unfriendly) employee to get us cups and when he did he offered us one cup. «Hold on» was his response to us and to others that requested cups. I don’t understand the stinginess with the cups. The little paper cup expense cannot be that much and it is inconvenient and unneccesary to make customers ask for them. Menchie’s provides all taster cups out on the counter and I have never been asked to not take too many taster cups.
2.) VERY unfriendly staff. Not pleased with employee attitude that we wanted to sample flavors. No greeting when came in, no greeting, or no response for that matter when paying for our food. No tip for server. I have worked in the service industry for many years. I understand rude customers and I understand bad employees. This particular employee did not give a crap. And since he did not — note to owner– I will not return.
The yogart was good, but I would much rather go to a place with great service and mediocre food than vice-​versa. Just my opinion…

My kids love this place. So close to home no need to go anywhere else for yogurt in Moorpak. They have a welcoming interior and comfortable seating inside. outside they have a couple of tables, perfect when it gets hot outside. The serve is good, always with a smile, and polite. We normally go for the strawberry, vanilla, and/​or chocolate with fresh mango, granola, gummy warms and gummy bears! Lot’s of topping to choose from. Thanks for keeping you doors open we love you guys up here!

Great atmosphere, awesome selection of toppings! Always clean! Friendly service and a great selection of flavors that change daily! My kids love this place!

I came here because, I believe, this is the only self-​serve yogurt shop that’s still in business in Moorpark. I’ve never heard anything about it (mostly because I’ve never asked) but I was having a mighty fro-​yo craving, so I hunted down YoFrutii.
The ambience is certainly not that of standard, adorable yogurt shops I am used to. It’s pretty tacky in décor, but they tried xP.
They have a large assortment of flavors, but after sampling each and every flavor offered, I was not too impressed. The texture of their yogurt is not creamy like at the nice Asian places I’m used to eating at – it was actually pretty melted — and the actual flavors are not super fresh-​tasting, but still tasty enough to curb your cravings. I like the choices of toppings they offer, though. I will probably be back here again only because, like I said, it is the only self-​serve yogurt shop in Moorpark.

Best frozen yogurt in Conejo valley. Hawaiian Delight is our house fav!!! Always smiling help and good atmosphere for the kids!

I live in Simi Valley and drive all the way to Moorpark (not that far I know) for Yo Fruttii even though I have another (won’t mention the name… GS) yogurt place less than 3 miles from my home. It is worth the 17 miles there and back with my 2 little ones!
The place is SQUEAKY clean, the yogurt machines are spotless and the taste is FRESH!!! The toppings are not only fresh, but the containers are not at all dirty nor do the toppings show signs of being old or sticking together (like the chocolate or sour/​gummy pieces) as you see in candy stores, super markets, & other yogurt shops. How do you get such amazing fruit? I have yet to see an old or bad piece! Even if you don’t like fruit the display of color is so inviting!!!
The staff is friendly & they will even take your picture so you can enjoy the picture real on your next visit! We always stay long enough to try and find ourself or count the # of people we know!
Super great yogurt, super great fun, and super great value! The cost is less than a night to ice cream shop or a candy stop!

This place has a large variety of flavors, and you get to serve yourself so you don’t have to worry about someone not giving you enough toppings on the top like you do at Golden Spoon. There are tons of toppings to choose from as well– they have candies, cereal, fruit, granola, yogurt chips, and more! There are waffle bowls and waffle pieces that are baked fresh everyday and they test amazing. It’s one of my favorite toppings there. You should definitely check this place out, it will be well worth your time and money. If you don’t know what to get, I recommend the classic banana

Yofruitii uses what is beginning to be a cliché design theme found in a lot of Los Angeles area frozen yogurt establishments. What sets Yofruitii apart from the others, is that apart from the hip and stylish interior design, it still maintains a «mom and pop» atmosphere.
It uses the same pay-​by-​the-​weight frozen yogurt business model, however the employees are friendly and attentive. There is a large selection of toppings, and about 10 different flavors of yogurt, all of which are very delicious. My favorite is the yellow cake batter which is a night and day difference from the bland cake batter flavor of Menchie’s on the other side of town.
Price is reasonable at $.39/​oz. There’s plenty of seating both outdoors and indoors, including couches with ottomans which make for quite the relaxing experience, perfect for unwinding after a long day. There’s even a few toys and stuffed animals laying around indoors for children, so it’s a good place to take the kids out for a frozen treat.
Overall, top notch. It’s a bit farther than a few other froyo options from where i live, but the extra drive is worth it: This is what frozen yogurt should be. :)
