They sent me way too many emails. I’ve unsubscribed, but they still haven’t stopped.

Moss Honda gave me the worst possible experience purchasing a vehicle. I would definitely not recommend this dealership to anyone I know.

Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Scott, Miguel and Mark all went above and beyond to make the process smooth, fast and stress free! They walked me through all the paperwork so I knew exactly what I was doing and signing! I would highly recommend any Moss Bros dealer especially Honda!

Bought my car here a month ago, a 2016 honda accord. Devan was our salesman and he is so awesome!!!

I very happy Vince and the owner were all very helpful. I love my car I started off with email and they responded quickly was able to do most stuff online and through email and Vince responded quickly every time.

We had a very stressful situation today. Our 2004 Honda Accord that we bought from Moss Bros Honda in 2004 brand new, the transmission went out after 217,999 miles, WHAT ARE WE TO DO??? Well, we went back to Moss Bros Honda to trade it in on a new 2016 Honda Accord. Guess what? they took the trade even though it wasn’t able to drive and gave us a Fantastic deal on it! Shout out to Rosario Herrera who couldn’t have been a better sales person. She made us feel comfortable and at ease. Very honest and sincere and willing to go that extra mile for us as customers. We really felt like she was in our corner, AWESOME!!! Thanks to Bill Haddad who actually close the deal and lowered the payment even more to help us out even more. And last but not least a big shout out to Lynn Johnson who put a bow on it to make it a Very Special Day! Unilocalers if you need a car, Moss Bros Honda is a down home friendly Honda dealership that truly cares about it’s customer! And I will honestly tell you that these people who didn’t know us from nobody, treated us like family! AWESOME!!! And this is from us who has been dealing with this dealership since 2004! Worst dealership experience ever! Got 1 star from me cause Unilocal requires minimum of 1 star.
Exchanged multiple communications with Devan, Joselyn, Fernando, and Steven. Each time confirming their willingness to match a quote for my vehicle of interest and that they had the vehicle in their inventory.
Relying on their word and guarantee to provide the vehicle desired and the price quoted, I make the over 1 hour car ride to finalize the deal. Only to get there and find out they don’t have the vehicle but could get it through a dealer trade, but they wouldn’t be able to do if for the price they had previously told me they could.
Long story short, was very disgusted with the way business was ran at this dealership. I would never recommend for anyone to do business with this dealership. Nothing but lip service and bait n’ switch.

Having connections to the automotive industry, I can say from experience that Moss Bros Honda is a joke. After reading other reviews, I’m not the only victim of the Bait and Switch.
Back in October I was looking to trade my car that I was upside down on by $ 4,000. So I started looking online.
I found a Fiat 500 online with only 20,000 miles and on sale for only $ 11,000. I did my research and KellyBlueBook value says the car is worth $ 17,500. That’s a no brainer there… I reached out via the Internet, got a response answering my questions, I set an appointment for 3 hours later, got there early and then all hell broke loose.
The young lady said the car is in a holding lot, and they’re more than happy to bring it ‘Only if the numbers are agreed on’
Strike one.
I said that’s ridiculous. How can I agree on something I didn’t even test drive?
I was leaving then the sales manager talked to me. Had the audacity to look me up and down and said ‘You’re approved for what… 15 – 16 thousand’
Strike Two.
I told him No, I’m approved with Capital One for 35,000. How dare they stereotype someone that’s dressed in jeans and a sweater?
The ‘manager’ started trying to explain to me that being upside down $ 4,000 he has to put me into a car that has equity in it… I know this, that’s why I jumped at the Fiat because there was almost 6,000 equity in it.
I let him run his mouth and then he asked to run my information and see if there is anything he can do to help me out.
Strike Three.
If someone is coming to buy a car, more than likely they’ve done their homework and know what they car do.
Once they got my credit score their entire attitude with me changed.
He can back smiling, calling me his friend and tells me I can choose any car on the lot that I want.
Obviously someone with a score of 795 can choose any car, that’s why I came.
Unfortunately for the team they prejudged my appearance and tried to make me feel as if I know nothing about car buying.
Really guys… Really?
Be ready for a ride if you plan on buying from this place.

— Show up, kept there word and 45 – 60 minutes later I was driving my new car!
I drove straight from another dealership after wasting my morning on a wild goose chase. Expecting the same I had little hope that I would get the Honda civic touring for the price I was quoted. I was extremely surprised that not only would they honor the quote they gave me via email, but also respected my decision of not buying any extras or using there finance department! Fernando was an amazing salesman, a straight shooter who respects his customers! I would recommend him in a heartbeat!
There was a problem when I was there though. The finance guys took my convenience check and left me waiting in the waiting room for what seemed like hours. I and the wife were starving since we had not eaten anything. After getting up and asking what was the delay, I was informed that there system went down. Moss bros owns all the dealerships in that area and they too were experiencing a system failure. I wish they would have told me right away so we could have gotten food a lot sooner. Fernando offered to drive us to get food which was very nice of him! We declined; got food came back and ate. Mid burger I was told that the system was back online and that they were ready to finalize the paper work. They were nice enough to wait for me to finish my meal before continuing with the paper work.
15 minutes later I was driving home in my new car! That is why I am giving them 5 stars! Dealing with an honest salesmen made the hunger we had to endure worth it!
Highly recommend this place!

As always, for most maintenance work, I take my Honda over to the guys who sold her to me: Moss Bros.
The prices you pay are average industry prices, they don’t stick you at all; but the difference with Moss though, is the customer service! You receive the same detailed vehicle inspection every time you drive her in, and they never hassle you to purchase any services you cannot afford at the time, or simply do not want, and also they give you a friendly reminder every time about whats recommended for your Vehicle.
Alan L. up front in the service dept. is the man, super cool guy who knows how to treat customers/​patrons, this man deserves a pay-​raise, seriously though Mr. Moss ;P Along with Frank, Ernie, and all the other guys, this is a stellar team here that will not hesitate to lend a helping hand! Thanks for all your help, and till next time ;)

Well I found a car online that fit what I was looking for, I sent my finance information online. But I didn’t receive a call, so I decided to call and ask for a finance manager, I was transferred to someone who was not the manager, he said he would look up my info and call me back, which he never did. I called back hours later spoke to another man whom said the same thing, he never called me back either. I guess you have to have an excellent credit score looking to purchase a brand new car in order to be treated decently. Very RUDE!!! I was looking at one of there used models which was at a low price but I guess they weren’t going to make money off me so they decided I wasn’t worth their time.
Okay, I just received a call from a Joe Romero, who sounded much more intelligent than the men I spoke with yesterday. He is a helping me, thanks Joe!!! This review will be continued and perhaps turn into a 5 star (, it seems Joe did try hard to get me a deal, but when he left for the day, Daniel wasn’t able to help me unless I had 1500 – 2000 down. Damn Daniel again with the no deals :/​but thanks Joe for your kindness.

David Swanson and Ernee both really went above and beyond. There were several others there who were very kind a courteous and want to make sure your experience goes well. I don’t go to Spreen because I’ve heard so many bad things about them. I was recommended to go to Moss Bros and will continue my car care at this location. They were unable to fix my issue because it is a problem with Pandora not the vehicle but they helped explain it thoroughly and took care of my maintenance as well.
I like their service department so much that in the future if I need to purchase a new vehicle. I plan to buy it at this specific dealer.

Well, i drove one hour to get there with the idea of getting a new car, excited for having someone selling me a car that I didn’t even know I wanted… And what did I get? RIGO!!! A guy with no intensions of selling anything !!!
We had an appointment and he had no clue… And the rest, well the rest I could of done it by myself, I can open a car by myself and check the price… He just walked behind us, quiet and bored.
We were leaving when the manager asked us if we saw anything we liked, and I told him straight, no, but if you are willing to lead us to find something it will be great. And Rigo asked, well what you have in mind come on, he has to take every opportunity to sell me a car, to make me fall in love of a car… Idk something !! I just waste gas and time… Maybe the place is not bad, just that guy real suck. Horrible experience.

Long story short ask for devan ha no but really… what can I say I was recommended to talk to devan and it was all perfect from there! My BF and I had been from BMW to ford to Mercedes and I had been to a few Honda dealerships after I fell in love with the EX-​L V6! Talking to Devan was like taking to an old friend he’s cool super informational and has plenty of jokes to ease your stress from the car shopping Experience. I not
Only left with a 2016 Honda EX-​L but I didn’t feel a bit of regret and I feel more then happy that I was able to get what I wanted with in my monthly budget! Pleaseeeeee if you go ask for him a few others like to pounce on you when you walk in but ask for him and I promise you will not regret it!

Let me just start out by saying, «Scam». Before you go to this dealership make sure you have everything and know everything. Don’t read the positive, focus on the negative comment, that way you know whether to still go into the dealership or not. After reading all this review, you will find that even in some of the positive reviews they have some relations to the same issues. Let me just add by saying that I am the person making the deal for my brother in-​law as he trust my expertise in car dealers and buying.
The reason for my stating that it’s a, «SCAM.» is simple; the sales person gets you a ridiculous good offer in plain bold point just to draw you into the dealership. But gets hit with all this other hidden fees, I was even told that my incentive was not included. I mean really…
Now you may asked, how come I didn’t clarify those things first before going in. Well an experience buyer as I am, I did. I called the sales person, Patty P. 2x times, stated your quote has really caught my attention and I am very interested. However this quote you are quoting me, «is this pretty much the price I get plus tax and license and document fees only on top, which is usually just 9% with every other dealership (Lexus, Toyota and Acura) expect with this Honda dealership, tax total with license and fees is about 10%, at least that’s what I was told when I was there. But on the phone, the answer to all my question is, «YES.» Now I also info her that I was driving from Orange County and don’t want to waste my time if there is going to be hidden fees or anything else on top of it besides tax, license and documentation fees. She swear that there won’t be and the price is what it is. So, here I am excited and called my brother in-​law, told him about the dealership that was down the street from him is sending me this awesome quote and we can’t skip on it. I told him I was on my way.
Wow, were we in for a surprise, as the sales person promise she would make that offer to us but this was not a set number where we walked in and just say, okay that’s the price, how much is the tax and license on top of it and let’s get the paper work started. We were told a different story after the sales person try to make it look like she was working a number with us and we refused it. The sales manager comes out, gives me his sympathy story about how he is for us and how he has been in the business for 20yrs. (Honestly, as a buyer I really don’t care about all that, let’s just get down. What is the number?) Bill was the guy, gave me a number with a happy face on it, PDI=$ 495, destination fees=$ 895. But the buying price was coming out out to $ 1700 above of what we were originally quoted with and I said, «NO.» I came in because the quote given to me was $ 20 433+tax and license. Told him also about the $ 500 incentive with 1.9%APR. Remember this is the sales manager now, so he takes the paper back to the sales counter comes back and says this is the best that can do. He took about $ 200 – 300 but we were still off on the number that I was quoted. At this time I was furious, I can only assume that this was not gonna go smooth and quick as I expected because I have driven 1hr out for the quoted price and here I am trying to avoid something that I didn’t want to get into but is falling into a Hustle trap. So I told the sales manager (angered), to stop wasting my time and that I have already wasted my time here, 1hr coming out and 3hrs with numbers, to just get to the point. He apologize for wasting my time coming out. I told him your apology for my time wasted driving out here doesn’t do anything to me, I clarified with your sales person various time before coming out and now you are charging me with all this hidden fees. Look here I said, I want it for this number and this was the number that got me to come out. No more no less, so his reply to me as a sales manger is, «I have to go get approval because we follow a step of command.» Now here’s question to pounder; as a sales manager you give the okay or not but why does this guy have to go get permission again. So, he comes back and says, «NO». But I haven’t forgot about my time wasted here especially my time wasted coming out for no reason. Therefore this is probably the only reason they got another extra star, because they offer to give me a tank of gas for the time I wasted coming out and falling for their scam.
Howeverver a piece of advise consumers: I wouldn’t recommend any one going to this dealership. I don’t know if it is a Honda thing to charge PDI, (what the hell is that?) and than charge destination fee again when it’s already include in the MSRP. That means, $ 1800 for destination fees. So think about it, if you don’t know and you go in to buy a car that is $ 25 000 but they say they give you a $ 1000 discount but charge you another $ 895+$ 495=$ 1390. You are really not saving anything. This is a stealership, they are not there to help you as they say they are.

We literally bought an Accord from an Angel. The salesman, Angel, is legit. He is alright in my book. I’m old school. I say what I mean, and I do what I say. I am simple and honest that way. It is not my nature to tolerate Nonsense and Hussle. Which makes a car buying experience a nightmare for me because of all the unethical characters that you get to meet during the car buying experience who only care about getting extra $$$ from u.
Angel presented all the numbers in black and white. No hidden charges, nNO extra fea$$, no surprise processing fee or added mystery charges.
I drove from LA to Moreno Valley for a great car buying experience. It was worth the drive for the Extra BuCK$$ I saved. My brother introduced me to Angel after he had talked to him about a deal. On the way to Moss Bros, we were worried that they might pull the old bait and switch. We were appeased as Angel laid everything out in writing as he had promised previously verbally.
He showed us the cars and honored the deal as promised without trying to put in some extra charges as we all know some salesmen do.
He was patient and informative. He helped my dad hook up his phone to the car and pair it.
Angel is courteous and professional. He genuinely cares about you, the customer. Excellent customer service.
Transaction was fast and smooth. Moss Bros uses the latest digital technology, so the transaction was efficiently convenient.
As far as price. It was hands down the best deal I got.
I shopped online for an Accord and Camry from Escondido, LA, Tustin, Alhambra, La Puente, Riverside, South Bay, Orange County, all the way to San Diego and lot more in between ., and Moss Bros beat everyone’s deal.
My brother asked Angel for a one free oil change because I had mentioned to my brother that I had gotten an equivalent deal for a Camry closer to home. My brother is a car guy and he convinced me that an Accord was a better car as can be seen in its higher resale value as compared to Camry. Angel tried to get the oil change thrown in the deal for us after the fact, but the GM apparently denied the request. However, that was never part of the original deal, so I did not mind.
I paid cash, so I cannot comment on their finance department.
The facility is clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and courteous.
They have a children’s play room, but it is in dire need of TLC and cleaning. Conceptually it is a great idea on paper, but if was not maintained and there were small bugs the size of fleas or small ants inside one of the wood toys. I would avoid that area for now.
If you like dealerships that offer coffee and treats, this is not the place for you. I did not care for that kind of stuff because I was there getting an excellent deal. However, my mom mentioned it, and I know what she means.
Overall, I had a great experience. I loved hitting that gongo for people who buy a car and my little 2 year old seemed to like it, too.
I recommend that you do your research online first, then look for Angel and see if he can beat your deal.
Angel was honest and straight up in my deal and I have faith that he will treat you like family, too.
As a buyer, Always do your research before you go to a dealership.

I was a little hesitant to go to Moss given the mixed Unilocal reviews. I decided to take the risk given the proximity to my home. I called and spoke to Alan and explained I needed my work car serviced, but couldn’t make it until after they closed. He said they had a night drop and explained what to do.
The next morning I received a call and my car was done by 900. They came and picked me up at my house about 30 minutes later. It was great.
Since, I take all of my cars there. Alan always explains things to me in general terms because I dont speak «car.»

Research done. Quote in hand. So excited to finally get this car! Until we got to possibly the WORST Honda dealership around.
Here’s how the story unfolded:
Before going to this dealership, they gave us a quote for a White Honda Pilot LX 2WD online. This peaked our interest and we contacted the dealership to ensure that the car is available and ready. We were told to come on down! Little did we know that we are in for a long day! Buckle up for a long review and see how many bait and switch you can identify:
We arrived at this dealership around 11am. Mo (salesperson) told us to go ahead and choose any color we «want» because they have it on stock or can get it easily. OK. We chose white. Then he made us test drive an EX-​L instead of the LX we originally wanted. He insisted to drive this instead cause it’s essentially the same and we can negotiate on the price. OK. We test drove the EX-​L but cannot agree on the price because we just truly wanted an LX. Once we established that we just wanted the LX. He then told us that the only colors available were Black or Gray. We chose Gray. Then out comes Daniel offering us a 4WD Silver Pilot LX for more money (of course). We insisted we just really want the 2WD Pilot. That’s it. Several back and forth discussion later they finally called for the car! Then we were told the car will be coming from a storage 30 minutes away. OK.
At this point, it’s already 1:30pm. Hungry and tired, we decided to go to lunch since the car will take a while. We made sure that Mo knew we were leaving for lunch and coming back after. Upon seeing us walk towards the door, Daniel got up from a deal he was making with another unsuspecting customer to let us know that we need to make a downpayment because the car was on its way. Can you tell me what’s wrong here? He must have been smoking something good for him to tell us we needed to put a down on a car that wasn’t even physically on the dealership! WHOA! Mind Blown! Needless to say, we didn’t give him a downpayment. Went to lunch and came back. Upon our arrival, there’s still NO CAR.
It’s 2:45pm at this time. It took another 15 minutes for the car to arrive and to our great surprise, the back plate frame stated that it came from Temecula… 45 minutes away driven by a service guy that smelled like sweat. Is it legal to drive a car in California without license and registration? Because they did just that. Continuing on… When we sat in the car, the new car smell is gone! It smells like sweaty service guy. Gross! But because we were raised with integrity and better than the people here, we still bought the car and finally drove off the lot 6 hours later! For our troubles, we got sparkling new all weather floor mats and a keychain that says «Always Excellent». This couldn’t have been further from the truth.
From the minute we set foot at this dealership, we were greeted with lies and we parted with lies. From the color of the car to the price to where the car is coming from.
Let our experience be a lesson for you. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at all cost!
