I walked in about 25 minutes before closing, And there was a customer ahead of me. They greeted me took my info and my car. I passed and was out in about 20 min. They also honored my coupon from checking in through Unilocal.No hassles!

After going to another location across the street only to find out they were going to charge me double the amount on my coupon, I called ahead to check on the price of service. I was told the full price (same as the discount price next door), but they had a coupon available online which I could use on my mobile. When I arrived I received a friendly greeting, had no issues with the coupon I used and was out the door in less than 20 minutes. The lobby/​waiting area was clean and comfortable.

I’ve been to a lot of places to get my smog checks done but this place would have to be my favorite. I arrived there and was greeted right away I was able to use a coupon code which lowered the already low price. They started on my car right away as I waited in a comfortable air conditioned room. They were done within 10 – 15 minutes and I was on my way. Overall great experience and I recommend it to others looking for a fast, friendly and low priced smog check.

GO HERE FOR YOUR SMOG CHECK!!! After failing our smog check at another place in Moreno Valley (and they made us pay for the test anyway!) we replaced our cat converter at Espinoza’s Muffler on Elsworth (BTW, highly, highly recommended!) and Jose strongly suggested we only go this location: AMS/​THE SMOG SHOP on the corner of Alessandro and the 215 Old Frontage Road.
Sure enough we found out that the previous smog place did not perform the timing test correctly (which we failed) AND The Smog Shop/​AMS promised they would NOT charge if the car didn’t pass again. Thankfully, the replacing the cat worked and the timing was just fine when the test was applied accurately and we passed! We’re customers FOR LIFE!!!
These guys are fair, friendly and highly skilled and knowledgeable!!!
