The best place to go for service to my cars. This us a business who genuinely care about you and your car. I have never taken my car anywhere else. People who rate this place low stars or have negative things to say don’t understand exactly what things their cars require. I would give it more stars if I could.

So today I stopped by to see if they had time for a smog check. A guy said yes and i confirmed, «you can smog it right now?» he said yes so i signed the smog paperwork and waited in the lobby. They pulled my truck right up and popped the hood. Few minutes later they inform me i have no oil in the engine. Coming from livermore i find it hard to believe but i’m already being charged for the smog at this point so i agree to an oil change. Then 20 minutes later he drives it out. Turns out its just done with the oil change and they move it to the smog lane. WHY DID IT GO IN THE LUBE LANE IF I ONLY WANTED A SMOG?! It all doesn’t make sence and now I’m waiting for an HOUR for a stupid smog. I have a fleet of 12 vehicles and will NEVER bring my business here again. SHADY!

Please do not take your vehicle to this shop!
All three of our vehicles needed oil changes at the same time, so over the course of 3 days I took each one in for service. The first day, I was told our air filter was filthy and needed to be replaced immediately for an additional $ 20. The second day we were told our rear differential fluid on our truck was dangerously low and for an additional $ 15 they could top it off right then. In addition, later that day, our truck overheated because the water reservoir was low. I checked the paperwork from the same day and it said they had filled it. I was left in the Costco parking lot with my hood up and two small children in the car. On the third day when I took in our other car, I was told my transmission fluid was really dirty and needed to be flushed. He said it is normally $ 149 but he would do it for $ 120 and 20 more minutes of my time. I questioned their advice because we had our transmission replaced not that long ago. I was told that maybe the new transmission was bad and causing the fluid to be burnt. I declined all additional services each day, because my husband usually handles all auto repairs/​maintenance beyond basic oil changes and I was suspicious by this point. As it turns out, when my husband inspected our air filter, it was not dirty nor did it need to be replaced. My husband attempted to top off the rear differential fluid himself and found it to be so full he was only able to add about ¹⁄₅ of a new bottle of fluid. And lastly, when he checked the transmission fluid, he found it to be bright ruby red. To confirm it, we just took the same vehicle to the Honda of Morgan Hill dealership for a recall repair and they noted on the paperwork that the transmission fluid was fine.
You may feel like you are getting a good deal with one of their coupons, but they are clearly not thorough in the work they promise and are coming up with bogus additional services to pad their pockets.

Our older car did not pass their older car smog inspection test. They wanted us to get our car repaired there. We got a simple part and fixed it ourselves but the car still didn’t pass and they made us pay the smog price fee each time it didn’t pass because we didn’t get the car fixed with them. Their machine broke down 2 times so we had to wait for them to fix it so we could get our car smoged for a 3^rd time. What a nightmare as it took weeks to get it done and we had to wait over an hour each time just to get in and 3x to get it to pass. Don’t get your car smoged there especially if its a older car !

Best service ever well recommend them to everyone I know and I Will continue going back… Tony help me out he was great I love this place

I’m a simple person when there’s free WiFi and reasonable prices I’m bound to like the place. The location is great and I recommend this place for anyone and just to save a penny bring a coupon they’re literally everywhere ;)

Looks clean and easy to access location but thats it. Bring the van to get rear brake service with replace pads and drums at $ 309 with tax. After service, drove to san jose on hwy101, as soon as 75 miles the wheel rattle seriously, it is very uncomfortable and bring it again to the shop. I explain what i got, but the person said «we will check it but you can not drive over 65 miles in hwy». Come on! boss…
I’m waiting what they can do for it, and update then.

Got my car diagnostic was pricey but they offered to tape the problem so I could have it taken under warranty. The service was quick and responsive. I appreciate the level of knowledge and care the service brought.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! They worked on my Honda accord last year in Oct. and within a few weeks my engine check light came on and my over heated on my way to work. The Tech who worked on my car did not re– connect the fan and my car over heated and I almost ruined my engine. BEWARE!!! I called and tried to get a hold of the manager and he did not show up to meet with me… The employee’s treated me like crap and I felt very threatened by them. DO NOT GO HERE EVER… They will ruin your car… Worst place I have ever been for service. Poor Poor Poor management as well.

****FASTERLUBE MESSED UP MY CAR COSTING ME $$$$$***** Today, I had my Toyota Corolla serviced by the dealer after having the previous oil change performed at Fasterlube. The Corolla employs a canister filter where only the filter element inside the canister is changed. The dealer’s mechanic had to literally DESTROY the canister because it had been tightened as though the car had been serviced by a gorilla. They told me this happens on occasion when people have their cars serviced by inexperienced people, or fly-​by-​night oil change companies employing people who don’t know what they are doing.
Now my car is sitting at the dealer, waiting for a replacement canister to come in, and I can only guess what this will cost me.

Fast friendly and good recomends for future service bathrooms were clean was quoted 36 $ at start ended paying 53 $ because i needed 2 extra quarts of oil and drain plug. They knocked it down a little tp 50 $. Overall fast oil change hence the name.

I signed up for Unilocal Just to rate this under par service i had at fasterlube.
What a joke. i should have left while i had the chance. First off i pull up and ask if they have time to smog my truck, the tech (still trying to get his name) said i was behind 1 other car and i would have to come back. Since i was on lunch i got in my truck and was pulling out and he comes up to my truck and tells me he has time now. i filled out all the forms. Gave him my info for contacting me when it was done. I went got lunch he said it would be about 25 min and he would call when it was complete. I never got a call so 40 min later i walk back and find my truck with the hood open. I go into the office and the rude lady art the counter tells me the tech wants to talk about why it didnt pass. So i walk outside and hear a complete BS story on how i didn’t pass because of a part i bought the truck already with so he failed to call me and let me know it wasn’t going to pass right away. He knew it wouldn’t pass without even testing it. All he wanted was to make it harder on me on getting my truck to pass now i have a fail on my test for something i could have fixed with a little advice. I will never go back for service, and will definitely be going back to find out the techs name so you can avoid his horrible customer service. A little help would have gone a long way if he would have called before testing my vehicle. Now they can deal with there horrible reviews. Seems like all the good reviews are from women on this place seems like they put that on the top of the list and when it comes to guys all i see is bad reviews. if you go here be prepared to get the run around. cant wait to go back and find out that kooks name that touched my truck. –Avoid at all cost go to service station on corner of Dunne and Monterrey road. I’ve been taking my very high mileage vehicle here since moving to Morgan Hill in early 2013. They never overcharge, and service is as fast as it can be. I was told once that my serpentine belt needed changing as it was beginning to crack. I wasn’t sure if they were just trying to sell me on something, so I went home and had my dad check. Sure enough, I really did need a new serpentine belt. They deal very well with my aftermarket oil pan, too. No complaints!

I stopped by this morning at 8 am to have my oil changed, the only employee there came and took my info and directed me to the office and stated my truck would be ready in 30 to 40 minutes. At 8:15 she had cleared one of the bays of the cars parked overnight, at 8:30 i informed her i would take my business elsewhere, as no one that could change oil had showed up for work. Steve W.

— — — –DONT FORGET THE OIL — — — – I had brought my Yukon in for a oil and tranny fluid change. The tech drained my oil then my tranny fluid (while I went to grab a bite) they replaced tranny fluid and sent me on my way. Next day my oil pressure gauge fell to «0» and a horrible banging clacking noise started coming from my motor. They forgot to replace my oil! and it resulted in my truck breaking down on Monterey road at Bailey ave and had to have it towed back to my home. I poured over 4 quarts of oil in it and it still didn’t register on the dip stick. My engine is ruined from running with no lubrication. I paid for this service, and if they are a shop specializing in oil changes, how the hell did they forget to put the oil back into my truck? Returning to the shop tomorrow and will update how they handle this. To be continued.

If you truly were concerned about what happened to my car and the experience I had at your business, you would at least have picked up the phone and called to get the details from me, the customer.
I left my number with your employees at least 6 times.
Everyone who reads this review will see through your total lack of respect for your customer’s and take their business elsewhere.

So this year my vehicle needed to go to a STAR smog check station as you can see I am a technician myself and do smog checks but unfortunently we currently aren’t a STAR station so we couldnt do the smog at my place. I walked into SAFEWAY on tennant and monterey and was suprised to see a coupon for 30 dollars plus certificate i quickly cut the coupon out and was on my way this location is right at the corner of safeway. I was only in the waiting area for about 20 minutes or soand my car passed and i was a happy customer I cannot really say anything about oilchanges or tune ups but i will be back in two years for my smog 5 Stars for service.

I stopped by this place for an oil change emergency before getting on the I-​5 for a long distance trip. They’re really nice guys, I said that I was in a hurry and they bumped me up and finished my car quickly. The employees don’t try to sell you on other things and stick to the set prices (more expensive than most places, which is the only reason for only four stars). All-​in-​all, fantastic place and I’m glad I stopped here.

I swore that I would never write a bad Unilocal review. I have eaten at restaurants that the food and or service stinks and or had been treated rudely I never wanted to focus on that people have bad days right? But in this case I feel like people should be warned. They told me that my transmission fluid was dangerously low and very dirty and really needed to be flushed (well over a hundred dollars on top of the oil change and the other extra charges) I said no but if I would have believed them I would have unnecessarily spent way more money than I can afford. I wasn’t bothered by the guy yelling obscenities in Spanish when we pulled up, or the American dad episode yelling obscenities in English in the waiting room. Although I am sure it would bother me if there were kids around. I wasn’t even bothered by the young girl in the office with her patronizing tone. Like an idiot I agreed to pay to have the transmission oil just topped off for 15 more dollars But when the story changed when I asked if they could just pour it in and we could go or do we have to wait she says «no you don’t have to wait… but then now you need to wait 20 more minutes because adding a quart of transmission fluid takes much longer when its so dirty (no joke). It was insulting. I told them I was sorry I couldn’t wait and I left. I was also bothered by the fact that all the settings in my Prius were fiddled with. My mph setting was set to kmph and I didn’t know how to turn it back, the economy setting was turned on which might have been ok if they had a reason to do it and told me why. I ended up going to pick up my daughter from school in Hollister and stopped in the speedy lube over there they fixed the speedometer back to miles per hour and they told me fasterlube most likely never checked the transmission fluid the Prius doesn’t have a dipstick for that and that you only need to think about flushing it after 90,000 miles, my car only has 50,000 they didn’t charge me anything even though they were busy and it took their time. Don’t be lured by the convenient location they are rip offs. Much safer to go to the speedy lube in Hollister or the other oil change place by trader joes off of Dunne.

Slow, minimal customer service, expensive. They did take me without an appointment and got the job done but I’m not planning on going back.
