We purchased a home from Kprime in Willow Glen in May of 2012 that was originally a small 2 bedroom/​1 bathroom built in 1942. Kprime had the vision to completely transform the original home into a beautiful 4 bedroom/​2bath home with multiple additions virtually creating a new home that integrates very well with the neighborhood!
I had my own residential contracting business for 7 years and built a reputation for quality workmanship with my clients. Upon touring the Kprime home the first time, I was very impressed with the floor plan and detailed execution both inside and out. This amazing home is a result of Sean’s vision, design skills, and attention to detail.
While our experience is a little different from those contracting with Kprime for major remodeling projects, as «new» home buyers, we ran into a few minor kinks after moving in that we reached out to Sean for help with and he was highly responsive in helping us resolving them. If your considering a major remodel project or building a new home, you need to talk to Sean to see what he can do for you!

I contacted KPrime after I had come across a KPrime flyer in the mail which asked if we were considering a remodel. Sean responded and we met at our home to discuss our list of projects. Our discussion went very well. He understood what we were after and was able to balance our ideas with a few different options. His suggestions were very helpful. We benefited from his ability to pull together the various resources needed to accomplish the work in a short schedule. He was on-​time, accessible as the project came together and hit full stride and followed after the work was completed. The contractors he put us in touch with were perfect. Their work was precise, timely and within the budget established at the onset.
In our meetings it became clear that KPrime was able to complete projects of a much bigger scale. I was very glad to find that while they had the capacity for building homes from the ground up, they still provided personal attention to our project. Excellent service.
Our project list: Replace kitchen ceiling, construct interior wall, updated all electrical outlets and switches, revised lighting in office, living room, kitchen and master bedroom.

We’ve been meaning to write this review for a while and just haven’t gotten around to doing so. When we read Chris’s review we felt like it was spot on as to what our review would have to say.
Working with Sean Keller for our major remodel on our kitchen, living room, family room, 2 of the 4 bedrooms, basically almost our entire house was worked on, was a very positive experience. Not only do we have a beautiful new home, we now have a new friend, Sean Keller.
Choosing a contractor to work on a job of this size, for any size job requires research, referrals, etc. In our case we met Sean Keller while he was working on a house 2 doors down from us, same floor plan as ours. The first day we met Sean we knew we liked him. We watched him do a complete remodel on the house in our court, knocking down walls, creating a beautiful home. This house was vacant so we didn’t really have anyone to ask about Sean’s work. We could see that they worked every day, typically 6 days a week. Sean would chat with us occasionally, since we had the same floor plan, we were always curious as to what he was up to. He teased us by saying he could do our house too! We never went in to the house during the construction; we waited until the job was complete. WOW, it was beautiful. The house was sold, very quickly, why wouldn’t it, it was brand new and beautiful.
About one year later we sent Sean an email telling him we were ready to do our remodel, yay! Our job began on December 1^st and we moved back in on March 15^th, not bad considering the size of the job. Just as the other reviews mentioned, Sean is a hands on contractor. There was rarely a day when he didn’t stop by the house to keep an eye on things.
Because we stared in December we were concerned about work during the holidays, slowing down the job, no problem, they kept on working. We were concerned about our cat and dog, adjusting to the work, no problem; Sean would even feed the cat for us if we were away. This might not sound important in a review, but it’s huge. He was always there for us.
All of the subcontractors were great. We had the cabinet and floor guys chosen and Sean worked well with them. We had heard horror stories about contractors wanting to work only with their subs, not the case with Sean.
This wouldn’t be an honest review if we didn’t say that «stuff happens» during any remodel project, it does! And the key to having a good contractor is the fact that he deals with it immediately. We too had a few times when Sean worked well past the end of the day; making sure things were OK or ready for the next day. He’s definitely a hands on kind of guy. And always available, just a text/​e-​mail away.
He also had a lot of great suggestions during or job, our favorite, our new tank less water heater with a recirculating system. We now have hot water instantly throughout our house. He designed a lighting system for our old skylights making them not only functional but very modern looking, they’re no longer boring openings in our ceiling.
We can go on and on about Sean and his crew. They’re honest and reliable; let alone a nice group of guys. We would highly recommend Kprime and company. We have one room that hasn’t been touched, our master bath, no doubt, we know whom to call.
