Cute place w a lot of great gifts

I went into Apple Butter and Shugies just browsing around downtown Morris. The first thing I noticed was a hair clip that the exact color make and model was being sold at the dollar store for one dollar. Apple Butter had a $ 5 price tag on it. Past that my sister spotted a ring she liked I couldn’t believe my eyes I took it and flipped it over in my hand and sure enough the same exact make and model of the dollar store again priced at 5xs more than the dollar store! We found these glasses with pin up girls on them that were really cute outrageously priced but my mom loves pinup girls. So I asked if they had an August one for my mom’s birthday. «NO, whatever is on the shelf is what we have.» the sales woman snipped. My sister looked down on the ground and sure enough they had more but I didn’t like the sales woman’s attitude so I left it there.
Finally I made my way to the Apple Butter $ 7.95 are you kidding me? I shop at Whole Foods and Farmer’s Markets so I am used to paying the price for quality but I have never seen a small container of apple butter for that much! I wouldn’t doubt they picked it up at the dollar store supplier and slapped a nearly $ 8 sticker on it.
Then I saw it. I was the cutest purse it was me! Tacky but in a fabulous way! It was half off $ 65. There were two little hooks where a strap should have gone but I searched the purse and there was no strap. Knowing the woman’s attitude I went to a man and asked where is the strap do they have it in back. The woman snapped over «It doesn’t come with a strap.» I told her I have been buying purses for many years I know when a purse is supposed to come with a carrying strap. So I said fine and went back over to the purses. I found a bag that matched the color of mine and looked inside there was a strap I grabbed it to take it and
«NO» he took it out of my hand and said «This strap goes to that purse. You are already getting the purse half off.» I told him what difference does it make they are all half price and my purse should come with a strap. He shrugged and walked back to the front. I was angry but really loved the purse. So I went to him and said «Ok, fine can I at least get like 10% extra off my purse since it is missing pieces. «No». And with that I walked out never to return. I am sure with a bit of searching I will find the purse COMPLETE on Ebay for half of their half off price. I am just so disgusted with this extremely over priced trinket store. In good times these stores go over like a lead balloon. With the attitude and price gouging I see this store closing in less than 2 years guaranteed.
