By far the best bakery around! Their cakes are BEAUTIFUL! They are so reasonably priced. They taste like heaven. If you are in Morris or near the area stop here! You will not be disappointed!

If you have never had a Morris Bakery donut you have not lived!!! They are by far the best treat! I was working in Oswego and brought along a dozen donuts and their famous cinnamon bread. In a salon of over 20 girls there was silence for once!!! Definitely a must try!!!

This place very well might have THEEE best glazed donuts I’ve ever had (and much to my own shame, I’ve had a LOT of donuts in my time). The customer service was outstanding, the aesthetic was wonderfully quaint and I wish I had more room in my stomach for more of their delicious treats. Whenever I’m in Morris, I’ll be back for more of their wonderful donuts!

Best donuts and coffee cake I’ve ever had — hands down — no contest. My family goes there often and the staff and service is so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The worst bakery I have ever been to. The decoration on the cake looks like a kid did
it. I asked for whipped cream and gave me buttercream. I never seen a cake custom made be put in a foil pan. Even your local grocery store doesn’t do that. I called and complained and told them I will never be back there they go okay. Mind you this is the first time I have ever ordered from them.

I am updating my review, because despite the inconvenience it caused me; they really are a wonderful bakery! With great treats for all. The donuts here are fantastic, especially the Chocolate Long Johns and their Dots with the frosting in the middle. Just be sure to get there early in the morning, because they run out quick! Decently priced too, but not a whole lot of sitting room so get em on the go.

The cake I ordered was only ok. While cutting it the cake seemed dry, since it fell apart, but was not dry. I feel like I could have gotten the same thing from a grocery store. I guess I expect a bakery to WOW me. The last cake I bought was from Costco, and received may more complements from guests than this did. Service was good. But note, they only take cash.

Have lived in the Morris area for 5−½ years and have told myself many times I needed to stop in and check out the Morris Bakery, but just hadn’t gotten around to it yet… and was kind of afraid I’d like what I found and add one more high-​calorie temptation to the list.
Had friends in town this past weekend from Chicago and one of them woke-​up early Sunday morning with a craving for donuts, searched on Unilocal!and found Morris Bakery, and returned to wake the rest of us up with the most delicious donuts I’ve had in years.
I still haven’t been into Morris Bakery myself, but having polished off a half dozen of these myself, I can attest to their goodness… so much so, in fact, that it may be best if I never set foot in the place myself :)

Thank goodness this bakery is in Morris, far away from my humble abode in Chicago because their donuts RULE! If I could get access to this bakery, I would probably go everyday. Seriously.
When you bite into one of their fresh, warm donuts, it gives you a nostalgic feeling of being in an episode of the Happy Days.
The donuts at this bakery is what America lacks in so many ways. Privately run business, good quality donuts, cookies and other bakery items.
