This place is the BOMB! I’ve tried burritos and tortas here and they are pretty awesome. My favorite these days is the fish torta. The quality of the food is great and the best part is the … price! 5.95−7.95 for the majority of the menu. My favorite lunch spot.

Tasty and cheap. Their buffalo chicken quesadilla is really good, and nothing beats their Wednesday Burrito deal: buy one get one half off. That’s $ 9 for two burrito’s! I always get a dulce carnitas and a machacha burrito.

My crew and I went in for lunch when working in Morristown and it was excellent! ZERO Frills but very good food, and the green salsa was perfectly tangy. They were running a burrito special($ 2 off the 2nd one) so what was an affordable menu became SUPER cheap. I had the carne asada burrito which was delicious. FAIRWARNING! This place gets very busy at lunch. Try to get there before noon to beat the rush(busy = good food though right?). Definitely will be back

Great Mexican food for a good price. One of my buddies recently moved out of state and this is actually the place he misses most about Jersey. Fish tacos and the macho nacho are must tries.

After searching for a great local taco, my husband and I ventured to Macho Nacho looking to see if it held up to its reputation. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to see as when we arrived, we were told we would have to wait at least 20 minutes before we could be served. Twenty minutes for a taco? They need to have a refresher course with their management and staff as we were not the only people who turned and walked right into The Taco Truck looking for their satisfaction of some good mexican food.

Cheap. Hearty. Authentic. Come hungry. $ 20 Enchilada dinner for 2 with appetizer chip/guac and plantain dessert. Macho Nachos order is HUGE. Atmosphere is not great(it reminds me of a shore pizzeria) and you’ll eat on paper plates(although nicely presented, see my photo) with only bottles of drinks to buy, but the food makes up for what the atmosphere is lacking. The staff doesn’t speak great English and you’ll hear Spanish music coming from the kitchen. Lots of takeout orders, but we always eat there because somehow it’s part of the experience. Seriously you won’t be disappointed. The food at Macho Nacho truly puts the Taco Truck(with their tiny«artisan tacos») next store to shame. They also serve breakfast all day and have bagels. Get the plantains, you’ll thank me later. If they could update and expand the interior they would have a gold mine here-but based on the constant flow of customers I think they already do.

Authentic Latin food. Cheap and delicious. I stop here whenever I am in Morristown. They also have bagels and breakfast which I have never tried. Make sure to eat here.

My jeans wish I didn’t like this place so much. I’ve tried several but keep coming back for the Danny O. It’s a great starter(and finisher and next day) burrito. Any of them come out the size of The Rock’s forearm and the integrity of the wrap is never compromised by its overstuffed-ness.(Yes, these burritos warrant a new word to be added to the OED.) My only complaint is that, sometimes, the ratios are off, usually leaning toward too much rice. But no matter, they’re always delicious, because, really, if you’re going to eat a burrito are you really going to complain about more carbs? Speaking of which, the extra chips and sauce are an added plus. Ask to try all of them, especially the chipotle.

My favourite place to eat in town! Nacho Monday — Discount on the Macho Nachos Taco Tuesday(my favorite) — 3+1 tacos The food tastes great, the ingredients are fresh, and it’s not greasy. Give it a try and you’ll not regret.

Located in a popular strip mall, it looks like a bagel shop(and they DO sell bagels) on the inside… complete with chalkboard menu. Walk up, place your order and wait for your food to be called. Service is friendly, and they provide tasty, authentic ‘luncheonette-style’ Mexican, which is popular throughout the Southwest and SoCal. This meaning, paper plates, hot sauces in squirt-bottles, plastic utensils, etc. Basically, it’s closer to a gourmet Taco Bell, than what the best sit-down places offer. However,(unless you order the nachos) it’s clearly not ‘Tex-Mex’ where everything is smothered in chili, cheese, and guacamolito sauce. The clientele ranges from college kids, to business suits, to day workers, and everything in between. Heck, they even let me eat there! As for the food? Everything I’ve had is good and the portions are more than sufficient. Especially, for the prices, which are quite reasonable. Lots of vegetarian options, too. Really, what more do you need? Try it, if you’re in the area.

This place may be on the verge of becoming one of those places that no one goes to anymore because you can’t get in. As I’m placing my order for a lonely Burrito, I’m told the wait is 20 minuets. Another issue I had was that an order made much later was moved up because they were friends of the order taker. Bring your own Pico de Gallo because theirs is a total RIPOFF. All these issues really«Chaps My Hide» Having said all of that, the food is pretty good and probably more worthy of a 3 to 4 star rating.

It ain’t the prettiest place to eat, but I didn’t come here for decorating tips. I had a fiery chimichanga that had simply set the new standard of Mexican food for me. Steak taco salad. Steak tacos. Fish tacos. The eponymous Macho Nachos Grande. All of it, simply excellent. A few bottles of Jarritos, and it’s dinner for four hungry hikers. Economical, fast, tasty, and generous with the portions, I’m truly blown away. Great job Macho.

Want a decent meal for an awesome price? Macho Nacho won’t disappoint! The entrees here are ginormous and the prices are fantastic. Their menu is large! I usually get the Fried Oyster burrito. I’ve tried other items but I always end up going back to the Fried Oyster burrito. If you like oysters, this is the burrito for you! I’m not really a fan of their burritos that have steak(I thought the slices were cut too big and didn’t think the meat was too fresh). If you’re there for breakfast, I highly recommend the Columbian Chorizo Breakfast burrito. Burritos are buy 1 and get the 2nd one half off on Wednesdays, so bring a friend! I like the green sauce that they provide. However I’m not a huge fan of the red sauce, it’s pretty hot but not very flavorful. If you like nachos, they are 25% off on Mondays(I still gotta try the Macho Nachos!). On Tuesdays, if you buy 3 tacos, you get 1 free. Mondays to Wednesdays is where it’s at if you want to get an even bigger bang for your buck. The ambiance is not great here, it’s more of a hole in the wall. But I like the quick service and I would say the food is more on the fast food side. They also don’t skimp on the portion size here. I always have a good coma afterwards.

Pleasant and fast service. I can’t get enough of the homemade hot sauce and you really cannot beat the price. If you go with a friend you have to each get a different burrito from the specials board and split them, my favorites are the chorizo and the fried plantain. The best way to start a Saturday in Morristown.

Stopped here after seeing President Washington’s Headquarters from the winter of 1779. Counter person recommended the Danny O’Burrito. Just right. Size and good flavor. The steak on our nachos was tender and full of flavor. We had no complaints. Food is served on a paper plate and they only have bottled soda type drinks like snapple. We would return here if we’re in the area. I recommend this.

I was in the area for an appointment and I was in the mood for Mexican. It seems like there are a few Mexican establishments in the nearby vicinity, according to Unilocal, but Macho Nacho’s reviews stood out. I got lucky when I checked this place out. I came on a Wednesday, and it was buy one get one half price burrito day. I tried the carne asada burrito and the shredded beef burrito. Both were really good. There’s a good balance of meat and veggies. The hot sauce was also really good as well. My dishes came with a small side of lettuce and chips. I couldn’t finish both burritos, so I split the two and I took what I couldn’t finish home. As a note they also sell Jarritos soda here. For those of you who don’t know what this is, its a brand of Mexican soda, that comes in a variety of different fruity flavors. All of the flavors are good. The taste of this soda is excellent and it goes with Mexican food really well. I recommend you give it a try if you haven’t. You won’t regret it.

I looooove it, can’t get enough of it. Taco Tuesday — 4 tacos for the price of 3(must be all the same). Carnitas is a little mushy and light on seasoning but perks up with a squeeze of lime. Carne asada is the same story — light on the spice so hit it with the lime. The real MVP is the chorizo tacos. Burrito Wednesday — buy one get one half off. The dark horse is the Luigi alla charra — grilled chicken with beans and crispy fried bacon. Salsas are yummy and spicy. My only complaint — sour cream sometimes tastes dry? Not funky or bad but dry. They also sell bagels and they are par for the course NJ bagels. Service is quick, efficient, and friendly.
