Took my ’69 El Camino to Erik for new muffler and to redirect the exhaust to the side rather than out the back. Had to make an appointment because he is a busy guy and mufflers are only a small part of his business. He did the job quickly, correctly and at a very reasonable price. I will go to him any time I need exhaust work or any kind of welding or fabrication done.

We were on a family vacation in Cayucos, and I had a pretty serious issue with my trailer. Thankfully we noticed the problem before we made our trip home. Eric identified what needed to be fixed, and took care of it within a few hours. He had to make several trips out to get parts and it took about three hours, but he only charged me for one. I would’ve expected at least $ 300 or $ 400 but it ended up only being $ 100. He said he wasn’t going to charge me for the trips he made, but did mentioned that he accepted tips in the form of Coors light, which I gladly got for him. He and the guy who works for him are stand up dudes, and I would go back there in a heartbeat if I needed something.

Where do I start… I heard great things about eriks welding then I brought him my brand new aluminum radiator to weld a couple brackets on only for him to flake on me. Dropped it off on a Tuesday and Erik himself said it would be done the following Monday. Over a week and a half later on a Friday, it still wasn’t done and I had even stopped by once to remind one of his little helpers. I couldnt have been nicer to the guy and he just blew me off. I hope you read this Eric. Remember me, Patrick with the aluminum radiator. I won’t be back and I’ll tell everyone who will listen to me to go somewhere else. Sorry, but that’s the way it is. You had some business coming to you for exhaust on my nova and my buddy’s chevelle and falcon… not anymore Eric, you wasted my time.
