This place is amazing! I came in from out of town, they not only gave me one of the best massages and facials that I have ever had they gave me tips on the area.

We just finished a facial and 90 minute massage, spouse did one, I did the other, and then we switched. Best three hours we have spent in a while.
Owner Melissa is very friendly and accommodating. She gave a great facial. My first one, so I may be ruined for the next time I have one elsewhere.
Therapist Monet is one of the best therapists we have ever encountered. Seriously amazing skills. Very professional and also very pleasant.
If you are in Morro Bay, or planning a trip, call ahead. It is a very nice facility, but only has two therapy rooms, and the main room is set up as reception area and manicure area.
Very short walk, two short blocks up from Embarcadero.

We had some couple massages her this weekend. It was clean and quiet and we were able to fully enjoy the entire massage. It was 90 minutes and we could hold hands the entire time. They gave us champagne and strawberries before and had warm towels for us afterwards. Solid choice and good Unilocal

Today I had a massage by Jessica. It was one of the BEST massages I have ever had!!! and I have had many massages.
Jessica explained everything very well. She asked you what type of pressure you prefer and allows you to change it up if you need to. I had a 90 minute very thorough massage. The environment was soothing and relaxing.
I enjoyed my experience so much that I also purchased a massage for my hubby for his birthday that is this month. He better not leave it sitting for too long, because I will snatch it up for myself.
To sum it all up:
Reasonable price, great atmosphere, very clean, professional and awesome technique.

I recently got my very first massage, and am so glad I got it done here. It’s such a comfy and cute little place, and I felt instantly comfortable when I walked in. Jessica Holder was my masseuse, and she was really nice and welcoming. It was such a wonderful and relaxing experience and I can’t wait to go back to her again!

I live in Morro Bay part-​time. I have a very active life style and recently pulled something in my lower back during a work-​out routine. After four weeks of no improvement, I called and made an appointment with Jessica Holder.
Jessica carefully listened to what was happening with my body. She explained her «plan of attack» and over 90 minutes addressed the issue.
She did an awesome job!!! Her hands are very strong! She checked in with me occasionally regarding pressure/​pain but didn’t interfere with my experience by talking a lot and she addressed my specific needs throughout the entire massage (not just for 5 – 10 minutes).
The following morning I woke and felt great!
I’m returning to Jessica for more massage therapy and I highly recommend her!!!

I took a much needed getaway to Morro Bay and came across this spa on Unilocal and I am so happy I did. Melissa and Jessica were so amazing. Not only were they knowledgable and the services received great (massage and facial), but both were incredibly welcoming and just the sweetest people I have met in a long time. Since I was just visiting, Melissa even put together a little packet of things I need to do in the area. It was a 10 star experience! I will hopefully be back soon on another weekend getaway.

I had the most relaxing spa experience here today. I highly recommend Jessica and Melissa. Lovely environment with caring therapist.

I called this morning to see if I can do the 4 ½ hour package but wasn’t able to because she already had a party of 3. Melissa, the owner, had suggested that I do there hour massage and come in at noon. She later called me and said to come in at 11:30 and by the time I finished she would be able to to a mani pedi after. Great!
After my massage from Jessica I had my mani and pedi by Melissa.
Not only was time made for me, but after my wonderful experience, Melissa drove me to the farmers market so I wouldn’t have to walk.
I will defiantly do this again. My husband can golf in Morro Bay anytime as long as he brings me to Serenity Spa.

As a massage therapist, I know the benefits of a good massage. I take several vacations a year and often have a difficult time relaxing, so I’ve found that if I get a massage on the first day of my vacation– it’s much easier to relax and enjoy.
I prefer relaxing sessions and can’t tell you how difficult it is to find a massage therapist who doesn’t want to pound into my tissues or dig in with their elbows– even after I specifically tell them I’m there for the sole purpose of relaxing. If it’s one thing I know as a small business owner and massage therapist is the importance of LISTENING to the client.
At Serenity By the Sea in Morro Bay, what you’ll find is pure bliss and serenity! My husband and I both go here for our massages every time we visit the Central Coast, which is quite often. In fact, I’m looking forward to my next massage when we come out here on our next trip!
My husband like his massage therapist, and mine used nice firm pressure in a rhythmic way that was soothing– just like what I asked for.

While on vacation, I decided to treat myself to a spa day and came across this place on-​line. I called in the morning and was able to make an appointment for the same day for a 30 minute massage, spa pedicure, and mini manicure. At $ 50, I thought the massage was very affordable, as well as the $ 25 manicure. The $ 50 spa pedi was a splurge, BUT it was also one of the best pedicures I’ve had. All of the treatments were great, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Melissa, the owner and the person who does the manis and pedis was very nice to chat with while I got my nails done. She loves her job and it shows. I will be back the next time I’m over on the coast for vacation!

I’m a local and have been going to Serenity for years. It’s a bit expensive, however, it is a soothing place to go. You know those places that 6 or 7 stations, it smells like glue and fumes with noise everywhere… well, this place is NOT that way at all. A water feature runs, music in the background, one person devoting all their time and attention to you. What more could you want? And Melissa, the owner knows her stuff in every way.
I highly recommend Serenity by the Sea.
