Recently (unfortunately) needed Autobahn’s services again. My last «visit» with them was 5 or more years ago. Nothing has changed; Peter and Jaswal were incredibly kind and helpful. They got the job done quickly and did an amazing job of matching the paint on a 13 year old car. I really appreciate the continuity of the customer facing folks, and think their service is awesome.
However…while I don’t think they are any more expensive than other shops, they are not cut rate either. Also, they use OEM parts, which is very important to me. If you are just looking for a cheap repair to make your car drive able and not worried about esthetics, this may not be the right place for you.

Brought in to get my car’s front bumper scratches removed and under-​engine mud-​guard replaced. Dropped it off on a Wednesday morning, was ready following Monday afternoon. Quick look around and everything looks great. Friendly staff too.
Update: Had some creaking after the repair. Bumper assembly was not reinstall properly.

Just returned from a visit to this shop. It was the last of several shops I set out to visit to get quotes from on my day off. I need some special paint repair done on my MBZ. Every shop was extremely helpful and courteous, many of them were award winning businesses, with high marks from customers AND very busy. There were no customers in the front office of Autobahn and I was told in a very unfriendly tone «you need an appointment for a quote». I responded with a surprised look and he then said, while pointing at a wall with a number of framed certificates hanging, «we’re very busy» and he turned away from me to walk back to his desk. I walked out the door and will not go back. Being busy is definitely no excuse for being rude to potential customers. That’s stupid business management.

I wanted to give this place a try based on the excellent reviews on Unilocal.I guess sometimes these reviews can be misleading.
My experience with the owner here was completely contrary to what the reviews will make you believe. The customer service, or rather lack there of was extremely surprising. Rude, inconsiderate and dismissive are some of the adjectives that I can use if I am trying to be polite.
I would like to point out that you can excuse the lack of customer service if the owner/​workers are honest. However, I was lied to over the phone about quote appointment and estimated time it would take to get the car fixed. The owner flat out denied things he had said over the phone and went back on his word completely. Going as far as saying «I don’t know what I say over the phone».
How can you trust this business with your car when they can’t even stay honest with the appointment timings etc. Steer clear (no pun intended).

Autobahn us a preferred body shop for my insurance company. I choose them based on Unilocal Ratings. They lived up to the 5-​stars. Excellent customer service. Honest pricing and high quality repairs. I’m not happy why I had to go to them, but I’m very pleased to have found them when I needed them.

The only good thing that can happen to your car after an auto accident is the bodyshop be able to restore it as good as new. Authobahn did it on my 2010 Accord. On top of that, their service was impeccable. Peter has done an excellent job starting from estimate to delivery. It was absolutely hassle free, and the quality of workmanship was superb.
I especially appreciate Peter’s diligence and attention to detail when he worked on the estimate. He crawled under the car to take pictures and found the rear reinforcement bar was bent and needed to be replaced. In another bodyshop, the guy just gave a standard answer instead, «We need to take it apart before letting you know if it needs to be replaced.»
Highly recommend this place for their excellent quality and service.

Autobahn did a wonderful job on my 91 NSX. They replaced my rear valance and did a wonderful job matching the paint. Their whole team was nothing but patient and understanding and worked with me on making sure I was taken care of. I’ve sent friends here and will be continuing to do so.
I’m having my rocker panels updated shortly, can’t wait to see their work =)

Took my 2014 BMW wagon there for a repair after a run in with an errant road cone on the hay. Insurance Job with Statefarm. Absolutely pain free transaction. Absolutely pain free experience for something that’s typically a pain. Estimate was quick. Parts were ordered, job was scheduled and completed on-​time and at excellent quality. during repair process communication was great and they wen the extra mile on inspecting for other potential damage and repairing the slightest details. Will use again and fully recommend.

This place is only the good part during my process of dealing with an accident. Had an accident a year ago. My BMW was rear ended by a car driving out of a parking lot. Brought my car in and they fixed it really quick. After their fix, the car was like brand new and nobody could tell that it ever had an accident. They helped negotiating with the other party’s insurance company so I didn’t need to worry about anything. Even it is a little far away from where I’m living, I definitely go back there if I have any unfortunate with my car in the future.

I am writing in praise of Peter Joslin and the team of auto body wizards at Autobahn Body & Paint, who turned what could have been a giant hassle into a 5-​star customer care experience.
Got rear-​ended (on Easter Sunday morning, no less!) and the insurance company of the gent who slammed into me suggested a list of possible repair shops. I researched the Unilocal feedback for all, and picked Autobahn based on their 100 percent customer satisfaction rating. I am happy to report that, for once, Unilocal was right – and pleased to add yet another 5-​star rating.
From the moment I brought the car in for an estimate, I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of Mr. Joslin. He even called up the car rental company to pick me up after I dropped the car!
Throughout the repair process, Mr. Joslin emailed me periodic updates, and dealt with the insurance company on my behalf, ensuring that the paperwork was in good order. He was knowledgeable, reassuring, and correct every step of the way.
When I picked up my vehicle a week later, I squealed in delight! Besides the repairs to the damaged area, the entire body had been cleaned and buffed. My 9-​year-​old car was gleaming, as if it had just rolled off the assembly line.
These are good people, and excellent at what they do.

Brought my car in to get the rear bumper repaired after being rearended on a hill in San Francisco. The damage to my car was only artificial (paint was scraped off) but it can be surprisingly hard to find a good place for paint repair. I brought my car into Autobahn after reading some of the reviews on here and was not disappointed.
Pros:
Autobahn handled insurance (dealing with the company of the person who hit me)
The bumper looks brand new, Autobahn even washed and shined it
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, Peter was able to answer all of my questions
My car was returned on time
Autobahn offered a shuttle to my work when I dropped the car off
Autobahn supplied touch-​up paint for a spot unrelated to the repair for free
I would list the length of the repair (3 days) as a con but the wait is worthwhile for Autobahn’s quality work.

I have a good auto-​body shop for my Honda but this time I needed some work on my BMW. Being an expensive luxury car I checked around for a luxury car body shop and even got some recommendations from my BMW dealer. I talked to some of them and read reviews online. I found Autobahn Body & Paint and was amazed to see such good reviews so I decided to try them out.
Took my car for an estimate and got competitive quote from them. Jaswal and Peter have been running this shop for a number of years. After getting quotes from other shops also I decided to give them the job. The work was completed on time and they kept me updated and took care of all necessary paperwork with my insurance company.
These are very professional and courteous folks. They even gave a lifetime warranty on their work as long as I own the car. Would highly recommend them with 5 more well deserved stars!

Went to Autobahn based on friend’s recommendation and agreed that this place is great for getting body work done. I had my BMW 335i rear bumper replaced and re-​painted here with great craftsmanship. The estimator (I think his name is Peter) was a straight up guy who won’t do you wrong.
My fix was relatively minor so I can only say for the work that was done on my rear bumper but the car was given back to me like the bumper was brand new again and didn’t even looked like it was replaced!

I had my silver 2007 BMW repaired at Autobahn Body & Paint (near Mountain View BMW) after someone clipped the backend, while I was parked on the street. Autobahn did an amazing job of matching the color, especially given that my car is not new, and the paint is ever so slightly faded.
Interestingly, my insurance company had recommended another couple of repair shops, but I investigated them and their reviews online, and I was not willing to go to any of them. Autobahn dealt with my insurance company on my behalf — even after I had been told that they would not cover the full repair if I went out of their repair network!
I’m very glad that I went to Autobahn, as the work was perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants peace of mind and a great finished product.

I recently had some front end body work done here after half totaling my car. And it came out absolutely beautiful — as in as perfect as the day I bought the car new.
And on time. And with regular email updates from the owner. It struck me as expensive, but it was premium work and must be a reasonable rate since State Farm had them listed as one of their preferred partners.

This was one of the Statefarm approved bodyshops, and took my 1-​month old car that took a hit from behind. The guys were absolutely professional from start till end.
Got the car delivered two days ago and it looks absolutely great. Very satisfied with these guys. Can definitely recommend.

I was referred to Autobahn by some acquaintances I trust in such matters, so took my wife’s car there for repair after a minor parking lot ding. Unfortunately, the other car backed into the left front corner of our car, so just a low-​speed tap caused damage to bumper, fender, hood, and headlight assembly.
Good points:
Autobahn handled the insurance.
They returned the car looking like new — quality workmanship.
They use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts.
They were courteous and professional throughout.
Bad point:
There is a pole in front of their building that looks like it would be easy to hit if it wasn’t noticed, so beware the pole when parking/​leaving.

I got multiple estimates from different auto shops for the repair of my back bumper from an accident. I decided on Autobahn because it’s the only auto shop that offered to replace my bumper with a brand new bumper and they had great Unilocal reviews.
I also appreciate them for contacting the other party’s insurance company on my behalf to ask for the additional money that was beyond what the insurance company paid me, which was the cheapest estimate. This meant that I didn’t have to pay a penny extra.
The other nice thing they did was paint an old scrape on the left side of my door for free without me asking. The new bumper and new paint on the scrape look fantastic!
They are wonderful to work with, especially Peter and his office assistant. They finished on time as promised and their work is superb! I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
