I’ve been seeing Natalie for over a decade and I keep coming back for a reason — she’s the best! From natural straight long hair to my current short red A-​line bob and everything in between, she’s always given me what I asked for. Her coloring skills are superior and I’m always getting compliments on my new do.
I love love her cute studio — makes me wish I worked in as fun an environment every time I go there. Robert is always super-​friendly too. Great vibes, great cuts and color, and great people!

Natalie is simply the best!!! I took a chance on her when she first started 15+ years ago. I’m happy to say I’ve never regreted it. I’ve moved away to the city and beyond… always making it a point to get an appt with her. What a treat to come back and have her work her magic.

Funnest hair do ever! Coolest place ever!!! This place is so fun. I am so busy and I can never find a place open except when everything is full on a Saturday. They got me in after hours and that meant everything to me. I also bought some shampoo and conditioner which is fantastic. I am so glad I walked in that day.

I followed Natalie from Faux Hair Salon in Campbell because she is that good. She is one of the few hairdressers whose haircuts look great the day of… and then my haircut keeps getting better and better during the following months. A true artist, and a sincerely kind, warm, and genuine person. When I sit in the chair, we have a discussion about what I do with my hair each day (mostly a ponytail, I run my design business from home and I’m an urban farmer but need the flexibility of a hairstyle that will look professional when I meet with clients). As a mother, she understands how little time I have but that I want to feel beautiful too. Usually I say, «Whatever you think is best, Natalie.» I think her skill is interpreting what my needs are, what the latest trends are, and the reality of how I style my hair into a great cut. And it always turns out fabulous.

I like this salon. Natalie is a charmer. Super sweet and talented. She’s very accommodating and even under pressure she’s very graceful. She cuts my ten year old’s hair. She consults with him just like she’d do with any adult. He loves it. This is a top notch salon and her service and prices reflect that. But I’m very happy with the quality, the products and the service here. Can’t recommend Natalie enough!

My daughter has been getting her hair cut from Natalie since she was 13 and now she is 24 years old. Natalie has done outstanding cuts and colors for her over the years. I started getting my hair cut and colored with Natalie and followed her to her own salon.
Yesterday, she gave my husband a hair cut as well! Now almost the whole family is going to see Natalie! She truly is an artist!
Yes the parking can be an issue, but if you drive down two blocks on Villas towards Los Altos, there is a huge free parking! Was mostly empty.

Emailed to setup appointment as they are only open while I’m at work. Was able to easily get a Tuesday afternoon appointment (had off that day) with a week advance notice. Parked about 2 blocks down for free, parking was a little tight with lunch time crowd but not terrible.
My appointment was with Natalie and she was extremely nice and accommodating. I have sensitive skin so she used minimal r+co styling products after the haircut. The cut was one of the best I’ve ever had, which is hard as a girl with short pixie cut. She styled it just like the picture, which I’ve never been able to replicate (I need to purchase the correct styling products).
I deducted a star based on being slightly uncomfortable during the cut because I was faced away from the mirror and she didn’t take much time to explain how she was cutting and styling my hair. Waiting until it was complete to turn me around. Granted it was awesome, but I like seeing what the stylist is done and for them to explain the process at least before starting to cut. Also, the price is pretty high. Prices are usually higher for women’s hair, but as a woman with short hair I usually get priced for a men’s cut or just slightly above. Not here though and it was a complete blow to the wallet. Main reason I probably won’t come back unless I’m in need for a really good cut and can’t find it elsewhere for cheaper.
I do wish the hours were later and/​or they opened on Mondays. I work in public service so literally can’t make an appointment because of my work schedule unless I take a day off.

I went there on a recommendation of a few friends and I’m totally happy. Natalie was amazing. I wanted something cool and colourful and she was very good with recommendations on what would be good. She helped me figured out the details, mixed a cool blue-​green colour and gave lots of good advice on how to keep it clean. I get buckets of compliments.

I followed Natalie from Faux and so glad I did. I’ve got short, pixie short, hair and it’s so hard to get a great, funky cut. Natalie has such great style, she is open to your desires and concerns, and tolerates the 50 pinterest images I make her look at. (Ya know, pics of Jennifer Lawrence and Robin Wright). This last cut was so spot on what I wanted, I had to text her just to say «great job!». Definitely give her a try!

Orbit & Rust is a brand-​new styling salon in Mountain View just off Castro Avenue. All three of the stylists (Natalie, Sibohan, and Robert) have years of experience, and came together for this new venture. Natalie is the owner/​stylist. She has done an amazing job with this intimate space making it both cozy, and modern. As soon as I came in, I was offered coffee, tea or espresso. When I said «coffee» I was given a cup of really wonderful coffee that they had french pressed just for me! Honestly, little touches like this mean so much. My stylist is Sibohan who has been my stylist for 10 years. While it is further for me to come, she is absolutely worth it! She is an expert in coloring, as well as styling. If you are looking for a new stylist, and receiving truly personal attention is a sweet space, try Orbit & Rust.

Stylist — Natalie is just amazing. She’s been doing my hair for years! I feel comfortable communicating what I want without any disconnect. She gives me great suggestions that work best with my style.

Salon — clean, organized, R+Co products to choose from, and I love the soft industrial décor!
Location — easy to find parking and it’s close to one of my favorite ramen restaurants:)
My experience — In my last visit, I wanted to go lighter on my ombré but was worried how it would look against my skin tone. She brightened it just enough and added natural highlights to frame my face… I fell in love with my hair all over again!
I completely trust Natalie with my hair. She’s always on top of new trends and knows classic styles. I always feel good and confident after every appointment.

What a great experience. I had been going the cheap route on haircuts for a while, and decided it was time for a new style. My last cut was several months ago, so it was definitely needed. I told Natalie to do whatever she wanted, and the results were great. High marks from everyone at home, which is high praise from the daughters.
Great space, with a great feel. She really took her time and never made me feel rushed. Highly recommend a visit for anyone.

I have been seeing Natalie for about a year now .i followed her from faux salon in Campbell. I have known her since she was an assistant at faux and I was in high school and that was like 19 years ago ! Long story short she does fantastic hair and is always fun to chat with ! I will gladly drive from Campbell to mountain view to see her !
Recently went back to having short hair (pixie cut) and have had so many compliments on it ! Natalie knows how to cut short edgy hair cuts !

Natalie is fantastic! I’ve gone to her for years at another salon, and I’m so happy she has her own place now. She does fantastic color and cuts — the whole package. I am ALWAYS complimented on my hair, several times a week completely at random. I have at least 4 friends that see Natalie now regularly too. She rocks!
