The good:
— amazing arts program
— amazing field trips — almost a dozen per year
— fantastic new principal
— project-based learning
The not-so-good
— be forewarned the school tends to attract rowdy/out-of-the-box boys who tend to take up a disproportionate amount of time from teachers and can be very distruptive. If you are thinking about PACT, then you should look into this aspect a bit more. We wish we had known this before
— a big lack of ethnic diversity, being this is Mt. View
— parent volunteers are uneven — some good and some just stand and stare
— not good if your child can’t handle constant change of the parents changing shifts and coming and going.
