After feeling disappointment in not being able to have the budget to book my fav wedding photographer (Jeff Newsom), I found Vey Gallery after searching through hundreds and hundreds of photographers. I didn’t have $ 5k to spend on Wedding Photography and most people I looked at were $ 4k+. Anyone within my budget unfortunately didn’t fit the style I was looking for. I used to do wedding photography on the side so I definitely know what I want. I found Vey Gallery and looked at their amazing portfolio and they had the perfect package that fit my needs and satisfied my requirements as far as photography style. I spoke to Melvin (the photographer) on the phone and got a great vibe from him and knew he was perfect for my wedding. He was very prompt with getting to me real fast when I emailed him and scheduled a phone call for us to chat about the packages etc. He was very informative and seems like a fun person to work with. What’s also awesome is that I can contact my own photographer via text message if any questions arise etc. I’m a busy person and rely on text for contacting people so being able to communicate with him so easily is definitely a huge plus.
I have yet to work with him, since my wedding is still 2.5 months away. But I’m pretty excited and cannot wait. I’ll be posting a follow up review after the wedding too ;)

I’m so glad we responded to an email from Vey Gallery and met with Melvin, the owner, to decide on our photo package.
Albert, our photographer, is a fabulous photographer! Talented, generous, fun and creative! We had a great time with him for our engagement shoot and our photos demonstrated that.
On our wedding day, we had a few hiccups but Albert made it all work. I really wanted to have the wedding party photographs at the LA Griffith Observatory and that day parking was packed! They were redirecting cars away from the main lot. They let the limo drop us off but Albert, and a few others from our wedding party, had to park 1 mile down from the observatory! As we were sitting there thinking of what to do we see Albert running with all his gear!!! Our jaws dropped, he saved the day!!!
We will never ever forget it, thank you Albert and Vey Gallery for giving us such wonderful memories! I am SURE that we will have another photo shoot with them again!
