LOVE Gyro Stop! Flavorful, Fresh and Fabulous!

Excellent fresh and quality food. However, the tables close to the ordering counter are quite cramped. Mukilteo needs good places to eat and this stop is great.

Location takes this place to the 5^th star. (We live 5 minutes away) On my first visit, the music was a little too loud, plus they were pretty busy, so I found it difficult to hear the guys behind the counter. I usually have a hard time with thick accents, so of course that didn’t help much :) HUGE pro was seeing four guys there working. Considering the long-​ish line I was in, the easy process and the quality of food, the time it took to order, pay, get my food and take off was awesome! Under 15 minutes for a standard lamb and beef gyro with fries. We will absolutely be coming back! Yummy!

I’m here visiting my kids who live right off of the Mukilteo speedway. My son talked nonstop about how great this place was, so we finally gave it a try. SO delicious! I had the falafel pita. the falafel was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and still warm. Everything on the pita was fresh, colorful, and so tasty. Even a little spicy which is perfect for someone such as myself who puts hot sauce on almost everything. My kids had the beef and lamb gyros and the Greek fries. Fries were crispy and hot with just the right amount of feta, lemon juice, and parsley. Their version of tzatziki sauce was different but amazing, almost like a mayo with chunks of garlic. Portions were ginormous, we could have shared 2 pitas and an order of fries. The sample of baklava at the end was the perfect touch. Wish this place was back home! It is a little pricey ($ 35 for the 3 of us) but well worth it. I’ll be back next time I’m in Mukilteo!

Yum! I spotted this place from a gas station across the street in an uninspiring strip mall in suburbia. I love Mediterranean food and I just happened to be looking for dinner, so why not give it a shot?
They run a brisk takeout business for the commuters stopping by on the way home, but there are a few tables too. It is counter service, ingredients laid out Subway-​style. I love gyros but I love shawarma more, so that was my choice. Chicken, and the Greek fries for a total of $ 13.
The fries were pretty good. Crispy, topped with lemon juice, feta, parsley, and some ground spice. Basically, exactly what I expected. The tzatziki sauce on the side was odd. It tasted like mayo, with garlic and lemon. Not quite what I expected (i.e. Cucumber, mint, yogurt) but it was OK. I wish there was a half portion because they were too large for one.
The chicken shawarma sandwich hit the spot. It’s not strictly traditional but I had them add hot sauce, because, well this is America dammit and we take your culture’s food and do shit like put hot sauce on it. And that’s how I like it. It was topped with a cucumber and tomato and vinegar mix, a (too) light sprinkle of feta, tahini sauce, grilled onions, and lettuce. Yes, my breath would kill a vampire right now.
They also gave me a complimentary bite of baklava. Sweets aren’t usually my thing and I thought it tasted a little stale and doughy. I’d pass next time.
Overall I liked the food. Not the best ever (that’d be Zaina in Seattle) but still pretty good. Next time I would try the gyro because they looked good. Who doesn’t like rotating meat sticks?!
I would come back if I once again find myself in the unfortunate predicament of being in Mukilteo, which occasionally happens. The Mongolian place across the street is pretty good too if stir fry is more your thing.

I love the beef and lamb gyro plate. The gyro meat is so tender, moist and perfectly seasoned. I crave the hummus, it is house made, flavorful and just delicious. The prices are great compared to the amount of food that you get. The staff is very friendly! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

A few of us from work just walked half a mile, in the rain, (gotta get those fitbit steps!) to purchase a gyro and it was so worth the drenching! We’ll definitely be returning. The meat has lots of flavor & large portions for the price. Next time I’m getting those fries!

I recently tried a lamb gyro + a plate of hummus/​pita for lunch. The lamb had good flavor and had an appropriate veggie: meat ratio. The hummus had the right amount of olive oil and other garnishes. The service was excellent. The speedway had been lacking a Mediterranean restaurant, and I’m so glad this place is there! This is a great place for a quick lunch. Can’t wait to go back to try their other dishes.

Finally, a really good quick take out restaurant on the Speedway! The staff is friendly and fast. The gyros are really good, the meat is cooked perfectly. Their hummus that is made in house is great. The one downside to this place is their lemon rice. I found it bland and flavorless, and have heard the same opinion from other friends. Because lemon rice is one of my main favorites at a Greek restaurant and I don’t find their’s up to par, I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars.

Decided to stop by this place with a buddy of mine (T’sup Kikko-​Dan!!) after having him come out and help me fix some stuff at my work place. Off his suggestion, it did not disappoint. I ordered the beef and lamb gyro for myself and the Athenian chicken gyro for the lady. The buddy ordered a beef and lamb gyro along with some Greek fries. The beef and lamb gyro was super tasty! They’re generous with the beef and lamb, toppings as well! I just remember getting home and devouring it. I had some of the girlfriends Athenian and it was delicious as well.
I had like two of the Greek fries from my buddy before dropping him off, but it looked like it needed more feta cheese. Either way, it was fresh and I like fries so they were good. I’d prefer this place over Kafe Neo. Size and taste of the gyros are better IMO. However, Kafe Neo may have more options.
Gonna come back again soon to try other stuff and maybe add another star!

I am borderline having an obsession with this place and their chicken kebab salad! Everything about it is perfect. I have to drive by it on my way home everyday and its always calling my name! Mukilteo doesn’t get a ton of new places to eat and i am really glad this one came our way!
