Your typical Starbucks location: Small, quaint, busy and lots of energy. However, one of the baristas(I wish I had gotten her name — but she has tattoos on her wrists) went WAY of her way to help me with a new drink. She literally developed a NEW drink combination just for me! I have been ordering it ever since. Thank you for making my experience wonderful.

I don’t know what they are doing differently, but each time I get a skinny mocha here it just gets worse. I don’t buy Starbucks coffee often. I have noticed over the past few years that the coffee at this location keeps getting worse. It had been a while, so I thought I’d give it another shot… my coffee was BAD. I’m sad to say that I drank the whole thing because I had paid $ 4.65 for it. Never again.

What can I say — extremely burnt coffee for more money that you’ll pay at just about every other coffee store. This is more a review of Starbucks and not the service you’ll get at the Mukilteo location which is fine. Good company, bad product, decent employees. Café Ladro = good company, decent product, great employees so I go there. Unfortunately the nearest one is 196th st.

I really liked this location until I started using the mobile order option. I use the app so I don’t have to wait in line, but now they wait for me to come in before they start working on my order. And they are usually too busy to look up to acknowledge that I’m standing there looking at my cup that is waiting in the limbo land between the counter orders and the drive-thru. It takes me longer to order using the app, which I’m sure is not how corporate intended the mobile ordering app to work. Please, trust the people that order and prepare the order when we order it. It’s our fault if we don’t get there quickly.

This location is busy no matter what time of the day you come in here. I stopped in after getting a pedi next door. Guy that helped me was pleasant and quick getting my scone. Coffee really didn’t take that long for as busy as it was in there. You pretty much know what you are getting when it comes to Starbucks coffee, you either hate it or like it. I like it. Shrug.

I’m very disappointed with their recent remodel. My friend and I have walked to Starbucks every Tuesday for years now. We used to enjoy sitting and chatting while enjoying our coffee. The recent remodel earlier this year has virtually ruined the atmosphere. There are fewer places to sit. They removed the soft comfy chairs and replaced them with hard uncomfortable seating. The noise level is nearly unbearable. It’s like all is this was done on purpose to herd more people through like cattle. It is no longer the coffee shop that I enjoyed, but just a fast food joint for caffeine. The stars are for the employees who have always given good friendly service.

I work near by, so this starbucks in convienent. It is absolutely the WORST Starbucks, EVER. I keep thinking, maybe the next time I go to this location it will be better. It never is. Last time I asked to reload my starbucks card for 30 $ and to have my ONE drink deducted. I was charge $ 11 and didn’t realize it tell I checked my balance later. Today, I went through the drive through, ordered an iced tea and breakfast sandwhich. When I pulled up, she asked, «Wait, did you order the iced tea? I’m so confused.» I replied, Yes and she handed me mt drink. Then told me to have a nice day. Forgot about my sandwhich, which I politely reminded her about. She was so distracted socializing with her co-workers she ended up giving me some nutty loaf. Which I didn’t realize tell I returned to work. THEN I was grumpy. Every experiece at this location has been so-so at best. Constantly getting things wrong or mixed up. I can understand one time, but it is every time. It is also the slowest drive through, and I would say it’s because the employees are much too busy gossiping to supply their paying costumers with quility service. At least get my order right. I will now drive further south down the Speed way even though it’s an inconvienence.

Just like the others ones except this one is close to my house and also has outdoor seating and other things like nice bushes on display. Oh and there is also a drive thru

I go to this Starbucks about two times a week on my way to work. Always great service and friendly smiles. But today in particular was a special day that I received AMAZING customer service. After ordering my iced coffee and protein box, mid drive-thru I realized I forgot my form of payment at home. They don’t accept checks either so I was really screwed! But Starbucks saved the day and gave me my coffee and protein box for FREE!!! Man, they made a repeat customer for life — thank you for making my morning Starbucks!!!

Update — I had a great experience today and I really hope they keep it up! Originally I gave it a 2 star but I added one because they seem to be trying. A for effort! Original Review — I REALLY really want to like this Starbucks because I come at least once to twice a week since it’s close to my work. In the summer, I like to walk here to get a dose of Vitamin D and a latte. As much as I try, I really don’t like it here. The customer service leaves MUCH to be desired, the staff is usually cranky or a smart-ass, and sometimes when I order things I don’t get a bag. I get the napkin, the topping, the oatmeal, and the receipt ALLSEPARATELY. Talk about inefficient here! And then other times I order 1 thing and they put it in a bag. And then, when I am trying to find a place to put my watery oatmeal, napkin, spoon and toppings, they stand there with my drink sticking out of their window like, «why are you taking so long?» BECAUSEYOUDIDN’T GIVEONEBAGFORMY6MISC. ITEMS!!! Ugh. You can tell by my reviews that normally, unless, I have something nice to say, I try not to say it at all. I try and tell the store first. But this store is HOPELESS. I’ve been coming here for 2 years and it’s always inconsistent. Come to think of it, the only consistent thing here is the inconsistency! So I am not a big fan, but I do adore 3 of the employees. I am going to find their names and tell you how awesome they are after I find out.

I am a true Seattle girl; love my coffee, love my Starbucks. However, it’s been months of irritating experiences at this particular location, so here we are with a review and one star. My experience from this morning is characteristic of about a dozen similar experiences from this location. It is a drive-thru and is in a busy area in Harbour Pointe near schools, businesses, and a major thoroughfare(the Speedway), so we will give some allowance for that. BUT, I am often there when it is not very busy, such as this morning. When I pulled up, there were NO cars in the drive-thru line and no one in line inside, except for about three people waiting for their drinks. Waiting in the non-exisitant line, I notice that there are six baristas behind the counter. A couple are hurrying around and the rest not really doing much. I stand for a couple minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. No one does. Should I have shouted to get someone’s attention? Perhaps, but we are in the quaint suburbs here and not downtown Seattle, where rudeness might a bit more accepted. So I wait. Finally, a gal behind the register finally looks up(maybe texting on her phone?) and looks at me with a suprised«oh, hi,» like it’s suprising that someone is waiting to place a drink order. I order a simple drip coffee, which is suprisingly difficult to get, as I waited another couple minutes for the other gal who wasn’t doing anything to get it. This location happens to be very convenient, however, just not worth the stop. Better off at the one up the Speedway on the corner of the Office Max shopping center. I always thought Starbucks had tight standards for their«partners» and that customer service, friendliness and timeliness were important. That is my experience at most Sbux locations, so what’s the deal with this place? Get with it, acknowledge customers, even if you’re being slammed — a «hi, we’ll be right with you» goes a long way!

I don’t know why I keep stopping at this location. The employees are rude and they do not care about their customers. Today, I stopped here to grab a bagel on my way to work. I got into my car and they had given me reduced fat cream cheese. Gross! I went back into the store to get it exchanged for real cream cheese and they told me they had run out. I understand you run out of things, but just tell me. Don’t exchange it for something else. If I had known you were out of cream cheese, I would have ordered something else. This would have saved me from having to go back into the store. This is just one incidence, but it is representative of what happens every time I go to this location. There is another location up the road that is much better. 12502 Mukilteo Speedway. Go there for great service.

Stopped in here after breakfast to get a dose of caffeine. Ordered a Grande, bold coffee — whatever they were serving that morning. Coffee was strong and tasty and got my neurons firing like a super computer! Decent amount of seating in here. And there is a Drive-Thru for the lazy people of the world…

I frequent this location due to its close proximity to my office. 90% of the time I go through the drive through and always receive great service with a smile. I am very particular about my lattes and these guys almost never mess it up, and if they ever do are always ok with remaking it. The inside is clean and comfortable for casual business meetings.

I worked for Starbucks for 4 years, 3 years of which were at drive thrus. Drive thrus are horrible, for one — people order quickly, they don’t speak up, they don’t ask for what they want, and then they get to the window and add 50 things at the last minute, hogging up the drive thru lane and taking their sweet time. I can vouch for Starbucks Partners when I say that I feel their pain and have been in their aprons! I do have to say however that I have had multiple problems with this store in particular, which sucks because they are 5 minutes from my place(although there is another one about a mile down the road which is much better). This store does have it’s select baristas who are very friendly. Most of the staff is rude and intolerant of ‘strange’ requests although I feel like asking for a few modifications in my drink isn’t that strange. One night when this store was about to close, they had about 15 minutes before they were going to lock up, my boyfriend wanted a cup of brewed coffee and they didn’t have any brewed. They offered an Americano and I asked if they could just brew a fresh batch. They had a huge attitude about it and once it was brewed I had to ask for cream and sugar(since the bar was being cleaned they didn’t have anything left out). The woman running the register was trashy and rude. It made me not want to go back, I definitely don’t go inside anymore and will only go through the drive thru when I am desperate. For better service go down the street to the Starbucks by Desert Sun. Or better yet visit the one next to the Food Emporium right off of Hwy 99. They always make the best coffee and the employees seem like they actually enjoy their work.

There isn’t much you can write about a Starbuck’s, IMHO. The reason they rule the commercial world is because they have a quality and CONSISTENT product… throughout the world! The only time I can speak up is when a certain location fails to uphold Starbucks’ rigid corporate standards. That is the case at this Mukilteo location. My beef? #1– The drive-thru is always PACKED and is a twisty-windy mess to get in and out of. #2– the drive thru service is CONSISTENTLY slooooowww… I don’t think we have EVER had speedy service through this one. #3– they are ALWAYS out of croissants and bagels…(come on, guys… UP those damn par levels, pleez!) #4– drinks are more-than-not inconsistent(where most locations are right on). I usually don’t have much to complain about when it comes to ‘bucks(other than their questionable business ethics, but that’s another review all together), but avoid this location… just drve to the next corner for another location! Recent update: 10÷10÷06− Again, I am dealing with incompetence.(sigh) I try and avoid this location at all costs, but today I was in a hurry and this is the only coffee drive thru close by. Same ol’ same ol’. All out of 3 different pastries by 11 am, slow service, and then the girl at the window tries to tell me my tall Americano with a splash half-n-half is marked«breve» cuz’ it’s «the same thing»…(sigh) After trying to explain to her that it’s not(to no avail), I just gave up and drank the breve that I really didn’t want. These people are CHALLENGED.
