History

Established in 1980.

John Koessler (owner of Koessler Enterprises) started working with his father in the Custom Home Building Industry based in Northbrook. He participated in the Building Trades Program with the Glenbrook North & South schools where the students constructed a house. After spending 5 years in the Marine Corps, John formed Koessler Contractors in AZ. In 1987 John moved back to Chicagoland and spent 2 years as a union tile setter. He then reestablished Koessler Contractors. In 1998 he took a small break from his business and became a General Manager of a major stone restoration company in Chicago. In 2000 Koessler Enterprises was formed. Koessler Enterprises has formed a unique team of tradesman in all areas of construction. In 2010 Koessler Enterprises expanded into two divisions, forming the Natural Stone Division and their Home Services Division. John also serves as a moderator on the John Bridge forums on the internet helping do it yourselfer’s, as well as other industry professionals.
