I’ve eaten here many times and never had a bad experience as far as the food goes. This goes back to when it was Boston Pizza Plus in Carolina Forest. The location in the Inlet is a little tricky the first visit but after that your gut instincts take you right to the spot! I’ve taken several friends her for dine in and they have all enjoyed it. Many of my friends who live/work in the south end order take out regularly. If you’re looking for good, quality pizza, subs and pasta, look no further than Uncle Mikeys!

Excellent food and atmosphere, Italian food, excellent pizza, my favorites are the Hawaiian, the margharita(I don’t know how to spell it) and the chicken parm.

This place is great. First, there are no good places to get pasta around the inlet. FINALLY a place to quench my carb cravings! We were greeted by the owner while dining and i can’t express how awesome it is to meet someone like him. After saying hello, he proceeded to get down on the floor on his knees to unload a recent shipment of wine. I love giving my business to places that are owned by such hardworking passionate people who treat their employees with respect; there aren’t a whole lot in the marshwalk area. Anyway, onto the food. We started with the cheesy garlic bread and fried ravioli– YUM!!! The marinara is amazing! Since I didn’t get my fill of the red sauce i had to go with the classic spaghetti and meatballs, or should I say meatballs with spaghetti. There were lots of meatballs. Recently also had the pizza, which was great too :) Overall the food was amazing and so was the service and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Got a pie to go the other night. Really liked it, reminded me of Long Island, Brooklyn pizza. If you like NY pizza, this is in top 5, maybe three, of Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island.

This was highly recommended by a friend so I met her for lunch. It is well hidden in a very small strip in Murrells Inlet, SC, and I drove past it several times and after eating lunch and bringing a Pizza home for my husband I am sorry I finally found it. This was my friends third time there and she had tried both their Eggplant Parmigiana Dinner and a pizza, however she ordered the Italian Sausage Sandwich at lunch and hated the Sausage and even had to ask for garlic salt to give the sandwich some flavor but the Sausage was not to her liking so she picked the cheese off of it and could not eat it but they did remove it from the check. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak, it should have been called the Philly Cheese, very little steak and no flavor I asked for more mayo and put salt on it and I do not use salt and still did not help. The sandwiches are served on a plate with a piece of waxed paper under it NOTHINGELSE not even a pickle slice and only available in 12″. Now to the greasy, ultra thin crust, «where’s the meat and cheese pizza»(they have one size 18″ and no choice of any other crust thickness). The ham was either so thin or they left it off because we could not find it, the pepperoni was sparse only 24 slices on an 18″ pizza and the sausage was crumbled so small it was almost undetectable. My husband ate 2 slices and said«I am done and don’t save it», he is a big eater and had it been good would have devoured at least ½ if not more. I also bought my husband a chocolate and a vanilla Cannoli which he said were not great but better than the pizza. My friend ordered a slice of Chocolate Mousse Cake to go. I had a Diet Pepsi, served in a small goblet, she had a glass of Merlot, remember they took her sandwich off of the bill. The bill was $ 52.32 before tip so it was a $ 60.00 lunch! This place did not deserve any stars but I had to select at least one but envision a very large Minus in front of that star.

Had an amazing experience picking up a «take out» order from this place! The atmosphere is very welcoming with a bar entry & a fine dining atmosphere just past the bar, complete with live entertainment. I actually hated to leave! The best part of the place is being greeted like family when we walked through the door!!! My mom was given a free cannoli, which she & my dad and I enjoyed(against specific orders for her NOT to share but she’s Weight Watching so we helped her!!) Oh, I can’t forget about the pizza! We ordered the Mikey Special or Favorite(I’m full right now so can’t remember the exact name), the Greek salad, and an order of hot & mild wings. We ALL enjoyed it to the last bite! Our ONLY regret is having the food as take-out instead of dining in! But, there’s always next year… see you then Uncle Mikey!!!

what a pleasant surprise, looked like a typical pizza joint . then we walked into the dinning room and holly cow nice soft, live mellow lounge music soft atmosphere, tables were set with glass over table cloths . we had a great white pizza perfect crust, cant wait to go back and order some of the main dishes. and than uncle mikey came out and said hello, and wanted to make sure all was well . i have not been treated that well in any restaurants in murrells if you dont try this place you will be missing a great experience. i would like to see more places that pay this kind of attention to customers.

This place is great! I stopped in for a quick lunch and ended up just hanging out because it is such a fun and entertaining place! Uncle Mikey is hilarious! He makes everyone feel welcome, like you are family. I saw delivery people come in and he treated them as such. Jessica, was my server and she is a sweet, friendly girl. I didn’t want to leave. I had a few slices of their pizza. Wow! So so good. I will definitely be returning to try their other items!

Well I understand this fellow moved his operation from Boston Pizza in Carolina Forrest to our area. What a blessing for us. You have outdoor seating, indoor at a bar-like front end or the back which is more formal dining. On Friday there was live music. The food is top notch. As we waited for our salads and entrees, Mikey came by the table with some complimentary home made garlic bread. Was nice to have the owner visit our table. They do offer gluten free(GF) options for the pasta, but I believe it to have been corn-only, I would say if you don’t have Celiac disease, stick with the regular wheat semolina pasta. Otherwise the waitstaff was great(a young girl from NY attended us) and while her name escapes me, she did a great job. SaleebScore: Atmosphere: 7⁄10; Food: 8⁄10; Friendly Neighborhood Gem: 9⁄10.

Ever been to the North End in Boston for pizza? This place is just like that, but with way better parking. The pizza is delicious and the crust is perfect. If they get an NFL package, they’ll never get rid of me.
