Dr. Akkari is a graduate of the University of Southern California Dental School (USC) where he received extensive training in all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Akkari is actively involved in continuing education courses to stay up to date with the latest procedures and materials. He enjoys practicing dentistry and seeks perfection with every procedure.

Dr Akkari has offices in both Murrieta and Riverside. Dr. Akkari is currently a Riverside resident. Prior to residing in Riverside, Dr. Akkari resided in Pasadena, California where he attended CSULA for his Bachelors degree and graduated with honors. Dr Akkari has been practicing dentistry in the Riverside area for the last 8 years. In his free time, he enjoys working out, skiing, and playing the guitar.

My experience with Smiles Dentistry has been absolutely amazing. Dr. Akkari is very experienced and knowledgable which is very important. I recently had to get a root canal due to issues caused by a previous dentist when I was much younger and Dr. Akkari made the entire process quick and painless. In addition, his staff are very warm and friendly which makes the whole experience so much easier.
Absolutely wonderful team– highly recommend.

If I could give 10 stars I would! As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed. They always ask me about school and my daughter, and to me that shows a high level of professionalism. With that being said, Dr Akkari and his assistants are always so amazing! His assistants Angel and Jasmine are simply the best! If your looking for someone who is gentle, skillful, and who will make you feel comfortable, Dr. Akkari is your guy! Plus, I never feel rushed when I’m in there. The amount of patience they have is incredible. I highly recommend this dentist!!! Thank you Murrieta Smiles Dentistry!

I am 60 years old and have been to so many dentist in my life that I stopped counting. I have had a bad abscessed tooth for about a month with a nasty infection. I went to east Murrieta Dental group first and paid the $ 60.00 for ex-​rays & cleaning but only got the one side ex-​rayed, and they told me to get all of my teeth pulled and they wanted around 12K. I did not feel warm & fuzzy so I kept looking. I found Murrieta Smiles on line and they were offering the exam & ex-​rays and no cost, so I made an appointment. From the minute I walked in the door and met Rita, Angel & Jazmin, I felt at ease and they were all incredible including Dr. Akkari. They did the ex-​rays at no cost and the consolation was informative and very pleasant. I knew I would need a tooth extracted so I set the appointment for today 3÷1÷2016. One of the only fears I have is going to the dentist, i hate it more than anything, until now. I was absolutely amazed that I did not feel the shots of Novocaine, or any pain at all during the procedure. I only felt pressure when the tooth was extracted as Dr. Akkari said I would. I highly recommend the team at Murrieta Smiles Dentistry and I look forward to my next visit. Do yourself a favor and try M.S.D first and I guarantee you will not go anywhere else. Dan Nixon

I have been to Dr. Akkari’s office several times within the last 2 years and was in desperate need of an Implant.
My experience with Dr. Akkari has always been fantastic and the staff is always the most kind and generous people, the Dr. assistant «Angel» is the coolest guy around. I never particularly enjoyed going to the dentist (who does?) but I find myself enjoying my visits to this office for the service and the people.
I had $ 1,200 of work done here yesterday (I don’t have dental insurance) but I’ll keep coming back.
If you aren’t happy with your dentist or the service you’re getting at your current dentist I strongly suggest you give this office a try, I promise you’ll love it.

This is by far the best dentist I’ve experienced. This clinic has a lot to offer its patients…
— skillful and gentle dentist; Dr. Akkari is very gentle with needles (which is awesome because I have a fear of needles) and while working on the patient, he takes his time and doesn’t rush his work.
— wonderful team; all the staff members in this clinic are great. They’re very personable and helpful, staff members mildly converse with you while preparing you to see the doctor, it helps relax patients from the idea of a needle and drill hahaha They have such a fun atmosphere to be around, you’ll almost forget you’re even at a dentist office.
I highly recommend this clinic and team, they are truly there to help and assistant all patients
Call ahead of time before visit to see if they accept your dental insurance, which there might be luck because they’re flexible with a view different dental insurance plans.

I have always had a fear of dentists I can’t take the pain the mere sitting in the chair sends me into a panic attack
Dr. Akkari has worked on me giving me the most beautiful smile I could wish for by applying the most natural veneers to my front teeth
I now have a beautiful white straight smile that makes me confident and happy
The process was painless and throughout the entire treatment the doctor kept me informed and shared with me every step along the way what he’s doing and why he’s choosing to do it
I choose to come back and see him because I trust his judgment and I feel comfortable with him working on my teeth
He’s professional and is an expert in putting people like me at ease
This last time I saw him at this clinic was for a root canal and a crown
Dr Akkari safeguarded my tooth with the least pain and down time possible
The process was swift and painless and the temporary he left me with for. Few days till the crown was ready was great and felt very real
This doctor is by far one of the most professional doctors anyone can wish for
His chair side manners are remarkable and he is assisted by a team that is fun and welcoming
Dealing with the office manager to make an appointment is a fresh breath of air she’s personable and sweet
