I’m going to start this off with the usual I am very critical of breakfast foods. In the words of Leslie and Ron: «Leslie: Why would anybody ever eat anything besides breakfast food? Ron: People are idiots, Leslie.» Now after that introduction, this place was good. Not great, good. Would I seek it out for breakfast again? No. But would I avoid it if someone wanted to go? No. It’s like a middle of the road breakfast, didn’t impress that much but it wasn’t bad. I was hoping it was going to be a divey find, but it didn’t live up to that hype. [If you don’t watch Parks and Recreation thats where Leslie and Ron are from]

Excellent breakfast this morning and excellent service. Order 1– son… french toast. Loved it Order 2– daughter… sausage gravy biscuits. Loved it. Order 3– wife…2 eggs scrambled, bacon, and grits. Loved it. Order 4– me…2 eggs over easy, hash browns, and country ham. Delicious!!! We’ve been coming here for years and have NEVER been disappointed.

Great service. Wonderful vegan and vegetarian options. Shamrock breakfast sandwich(vegan) was fantastic and came with nice fresh fruit cup. Side order of hash browns were tasty and portion was awesome. Vegan artisan waffle was delicious. Served with pure maple syrup. Definitely be back.

Craving breakfast one morning recently, had Hot Stacks bookmarked here in Unilocal to check it out. It’s no different than any other ordinary pancake house! So many options you can choose from! They did hit the spot. The food was hot and came out quickly. I got the banana strawberry pancakes. The difference is, there were bananas made right into the pancake batter itself! So they really were banana pancakes. Then they were topped with even more bananas, and some strawberries. So definitely a banana overload. My opinion, if the batter is full on bananas, don’t top with MORE bananas. Just add the strawberries and it would be a perfect combination. We were new customers, therefore we didn’t realize you had to walk up to pay. We sat there with the bill and money ready, at the edge of the table, thinking the waitress would take it. Instead she walked by starring at it ATLEAST3 times. Finally we caught on that she wasn’t taking care of it, and it was the type of place to go up to pay on your own. You’d think she would have mentioned it to us. Like ‘hey, thanks for stopping in. Let me take those plates out of your way, by the way, you have to go up to pay’.

We have eaten here twice. Food is good and service is fast and friendly. I did however looked at the check and realized one kid chocolate milk cost $ 4.38. RIDICULOUS! Was not happy with that.

This breakfast spot has been in business for a long time so they are doing something right. The dining area is spacious, and if there is a wait it usually goes pretty fast. My latest visit we tried omelettes, and they were delicious. I got breakfast potatoes as the side and they were just okay. Hubby got grits and he liked them a lot. Guests got the steak and eggs, and the eggs were good but the steak had very little flavor. With enough A1 — it was edible. Our waitress was quick and attentive. The food also came out quickly. Overall, a good place to grab breakfast anytime of the day.

I went to this restaurant while on vacation and was served a horrible breakfast. The omelet disgusting and over cooked. The pancakes had a weird after taste and the service was lacking. We were also being rushed by the waitress although there wasn’t a crowd that day. We also found ourselves the topic of a staff discussion, «why are they still here? «Is not an appropriate topic when you are working for tips. This is definitely not the restaurant to visit while on vacation.

Looking for breakfast before skipping town after last weeks rain of 1000 years, we found Hot Stacks to have decent reviews and was open despite the many businesses being closed after the storms. Nothing special here but the food wasn’t bad. I felt the price was a little high, but the portions were more than generous. A couple mishaps with our group of six i.e. forgotten item, not prepared as originally requested, etc… Nothing that wasn’t remedied asap.

Our favorite breakfast spot every time we are in Myrtle Beach! Staff is great & efficient, food is well portioned and priced fairly(compared to NYC). All veggies taste fresh and delicious! Parking can be a pain if you go between 9−10am; so 10:30−11am works well for us as the traffic slows down.

Have been to this place twice during vacation. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. An odd thing about myrtle beach– everything is moist from the ocean and the intense humidity. This place is clean and DRY! A remarkable feat considering the location. I highly recommend stopping at this mom and pop chain(3 locations) at least once.

Decent breakfast for a decent price. Waitress was friendly but some of the others running around didn’t seem pleased to be so busy. Facility clean.

So fulfilling — western omelet-French toast– and orange juice. Food came out fast and our waitress was a sweetheart-you go girl-. If i lived around here I would definitely come for breakfast as many times as my check permitted. :) nice place to eat people try it out!

People of color beware! Walked into this establishment with my family and was looked at as if they saw a ghost. The waitress tried to seat my family way in the back of the restaurant, mind you we were there before 7am, so we passed by several tables that were in the front. I told her that I will not be sitting my family in the back and that we would take seating up front. Needless to say, we walked out. Another ignorant establishment that refuses to embrace diversity.

Not bad… not great. They process a lot of people through here. Seems really busy so it obviously isn’t too bad. The food is fair for the price, just nothing memorable. In looking for specifics, I asked for my hash browns to have onions and be very well done(crispy). They arrived minimally cooked, as is the standard evidently because no one else seems to mind eating soggy potatoes. Same thing with the toast. I wouldn’t necessarily avoid the place next time, it just wouldn’t be my first choice.

This place is the best with many healthy options and huge menu. It is our favorite breakfast place in MB. The portions are very large and coffee is great. Service was wonderful. Besides having healthy side alternatives on their regular menu, they also have a pre and post workout menu with fresh fruits, low carb, and gluten free options. But you can also find many rich and wonderful breakfast treats too. It is a perfect spot for diversified foodies. Also the service was amazing. Ask for Yulia. She is beyond fantastic! This is the 1501 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach location. We tried the one in downtown Myrtle, it was entirely different. Definitely not as good.

I’m giving this review based on food quality. It was absolutely terrible… so much so, I almost wrote the kitchen staff a note. Our poor waitress. .I could see in her eyes how much slack she was getting from the kitchen which rippled onto her overall demeanor. The problems with our meal were not her fault, however it was obvious she was getting the heat. I spoke to our hostess which was also our cashier and she fixed our bill accordingly. If I could leave a review solely based on service… well, I just felt bad for our waitress so I would give her 3.5 because I know that she knew the menu and would have been more friendly if the kitchen wasn’t giving her a hard time and the hostess was very friendly and efficient.

Friend had a greek omelet and it was a bit overcooked but the grits & additionsl side of grits were perfect. I had steak & veggies. If the steak was a ribeye they need a new meat supplier, ordered mid rare but it was pounded so thin it was well done. No way of cooking it any way other than tartare. The fried squash melted in my mouth literally. Stick with breakfast. I had planned on ordering eggs benedict but $ 10 for 2 poached eggs, a muffin and hollandaise from knorr swiss packet more than I wanna spend. The service was good and the best possible appeared to be done with the food. We normally eat at the N.M.B. location or Golden Griddle. First & last time, no second chance for this one. The rating needs to read $$ or even $$$ the specials are only a buck or two less than the full menu. 2 people w/tax with water &1 coffee $ 24.87. Tipped her more than 15% but $ 25 is high for me. Plenty of other places it was also about $ 8.00 more than the N.M.B. store. Myrtle Beach needs Northern style affordable diners or go back too the pancake houses of twenty + years ago.
