B-Line Tile & Stone

I coordinated a kitchen tile remodel with Marc two months in advance. I stayed in contact with him letting him know when we received the tile, etc. I also confirmed with him the weekend before he was supposed to do the work.
He did not show up, did not call or answer my emails. Very disappointed. Very unprofessional.

It was 9 years ago that Marc and his crew installed beautiful granite counter tops in our kitchen. The workmanship was above board. I remember, at the time, thinking that he didn’t give us the run-​around as contractors can have a tendency to do; delayed completion time, extra costs, etc. Just recently we needed to have some adjustments made to the granite to accommodate a new stove. We called Marc and he came the next day! Not only did he make the new stove fit but he helped hook it up — like I said «above board» work. While here he double checked the granite to make sure everything was okay.

Marc from B-​Line Tile is a breath of fresh air among contractors. Professional, courteous, communicative, timely, skilled, and he is an excellent craftsman who takes great pride in his work. An added bonus is that he is also a really nice guy and lovely to have around.
There were some tricky areas with my Travertine floor layout and he took his time to carefully think through and discuss with me the approach he thought was best — and it turned out beautifully. I just can’t stop staring at what a fantastic job he did — carefully selecting each tile (natural stone with major variations) so that the pattern transitions all work gracefully. I will add photos to this review once the rest of the room is finished and the baseboards are complete, so that the photos will do his handiwork justice.
Have Marc do your tile work and you will become his evangelist too. One of the best contractors I’ve ever worked with, hands down.

If you want a beautiful tile bathroom or tile floors, you want Marc from B-​Line Tile & Stone. He is an expert craftsman but more importantly, he listens to his clients and makes helpful suggestions.
He did an amazing job laying out the various patterns and making the recessed niches. He has a good eye for design and he made sure the floor pattern borders were positioned correctly and were right for the the size of the area. He also made sure the tile edges were nicely finished or polished.
NOTE: My advice to anyone who uses natural stone (marble, granite, onyz) — you should expect a large variation in color and pattern. The actual stone may not even match the sample you selected at the tile store! If you prefer a uniform color, go with a plain porcelain tile and forget about stone.
