I have been working/​playing with electronics since i was 7 or 8. I have always been interested in the inner workings of these devices.

As a family we got our first home computer in 1978 and I immediately took to it. We had approximately 10 different home computers over the next 10 years, from Tandy to Commodore and Apple. Over the years I have done everything from programming, building. and repairing, computers and the hardware related.

I have built over 100 new computers in the last 20 years. I have worked on over 5000 computers in the last 15 years, 4500 of those since starting Napa Valley Computers in 2001.

I am a fair and honest businessman with a high ethics standard.

Have taken my computer here several times and Corey is fantastic, honest and takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend him when taking your computer to get checked out.

Corey is the best.
He has saved me several times, and kept my aging laptop functioning for several years at top capacity, even following major meltdowns including the dreaded blue screen.
He is smart, fast, friendly, honest, helpful, knows his stuff inside and out, and has absolutely none of the usual arrogance and patronizing attitude of most techies.
To top it all off, Corey is very reasonable in his pricing, and always charges less than I expect, and much less than his expertise is worth to me.
He is a gem, and his busy little lab is a priceless resource to the Napa community.
I recommend him very, very highly for every computer owner. You will not be disappointed.

Update —
It had been a couple of weeks since i called to let Corey know that I’d been by to pick up my hard drive. I walked in the shop and told him why I was there. He asked me my name and I told him. Next thing I knew he was pushing his way past me to get at something behind the door. He didn’t say «excuse me», or anything close to it. I literally took one more step back and was out the door! What The Hell?
This further validates my assessment that Corey is rude and has little business-​sense. Who treats a customer like that?
I hope to find a tech in town who can restore the files on my hard drive… provided Corey didn’t wipe it clean. Frankly at this point, I wouldn’t put it past him.

Corey Edwards (owner) went above and beyond the call of duty for my computer issue. My step daughters computer stopped communicating with the district’s WiFi and Corey worked diligently including meeting with the tech crew at the school district to problem solve the issue. He is courteous, conscientious, and will work to fix the problem. Thank you Corey!

I’ve had two computer repairs done here, one about 2 years ago and another more recently. Not only were they fixed very competently but the prices were extremely reasonable, quite a bit less than I had paid for similar repairs in the past. Corey Edwards seems like a very ethical person and provides very good, cost effective advice. I also purchased two items from him in the past, a cordless mouse and a power supply. His prices on these were very reasonable. At this point I’m thinking of having Corey put together my next computer.
IMHO this combination of competence, honesty and very reasonable prices, makes this a great place. If you see an very old review, make sure it was while Corey was there. And if he leaves or sells the business, all bets are off.
