History

Established in 2013.

Running under the business name WHVR Digital Broadcasting, Inc. 24.7 The Stream is owned and operated out of Naperville, IL.

The business was founded in order to give people an opportunity to broadcast their message or service to a global audience, without having to deal with «Technical Radio Aspects» of hosting their own program.

CEO/​General Manager Todd Bates, who has over 12 years radio broadcasting experience, created a vision to provide a «local radio station feel, on a global scale» This unique service provides structure, training, and peace of mind to all who host a program on 24.7 The Stream.

Having learned from many past mistakes regarding internet radio broadcasting, Todd has perfected these errors and now programs a superior quality program experience for his hosts and listeners world-​wide!

Todd loves every aspect of radio broadcasting and production, but he loves the listeners even more! Todd prides himself on quality and customer service and enjoys hearing from others!

Todd is currently a full time student at the American Broadcasting School, in addition to the Owner/​General Manager of 24.7 WHVRdb The Stream in Naperville, IL.

Todd has advanced working knowledge of audio production software like Adobe Audition, but also radio broadcasting software such as SAM Broadcaster, DRS2006, and Nicecast.

Todd lives in Naperville, IL with his beautiful girlfriend Auriel Grace, and has two daughters who he loves dearly!
