I debated driving to the post office but opted for the closer option at Mail Works knowing I’ll pay $ 1-$ 2 for my convenience. I was shocked when I was charged $ 7.16 for a 12 ounce, 9×12 envelope. I questioned the cost and asked for the flat rate envelope to help lower the cost. I was told that the flat rate is «$ 9-something». A quick check with the post office shows that the postage on that mailing would be $ 3.29 and there is a flat rate envelope for $ 5.75. I’m a small business owner and I like to frequent other small businesses, but a mark-up of greater than 100% is gouging so I won’t be back. The one positive is that the man working the counter was pleasant in his dealings with the customers.

The people here are super friendly! It’s an easy and convenient place to ship packages. I will gladly pay a little more to avoid going to the local post office.

Great service with a smile! The owner is always friendly and willing to help you carry packages out of the car for you. They also have stamps, candy, and cards. It’s a great place to go because they wait on you very quickly.

I don’t go here very often, but if I need to send a package I always find them helpful and very quick. I can get something sent and be on my way. I’d have gone 5 stars but I found my last transaction a little expensive. I still would go back because it’s convenient and I rarely wait
